this is very smilar to the elevator in the former Hecht's at Wheaton Plaza. It closed in 2006, and is still vacant. Rumor has it Kohl's may move in around 2010-2011. The Hecht's had a single-slide door though. I really miss that elevator, it was carpeted, and really nice

This was a nice elevator but it caught on fire on Black Friday and now its closed
no but they fixed it after the fire
it closed because sears was closing several other stores and this store was on this list
They modded it after the fire then they closed the store.
