This does't work any more. The latest version of the x64 ISO is bigger than a DVD

You need a Dual Layer DVD...M$ screwed the pooch on that one. Now you need a special Dual Layer DVD disc and a burner that reads DL DVDs...or just try the USB drive

      is there a solution?

@@stazzeldskater The only solution is to either use a dual layer or to download win 10 from an earlier version torrent. I used the torrent option because for some reason my motherboard won't boot from usb. Torrents are risky though, so you should find a trustable uploader.

Sorry but, before you make a video explaining something, you should actually test it all the way to completion. You don't have a DVD burner. You can't do that. The fact is, GB are calculated differently depending on format and a 4.672GB iso, as of 4/15/23, won't fit on a 4.7GB DVD. This video is click bait. It hasn't fit on a single layer DVD in almost 4 years.
What I was looking for was hoping somebody had information on stripping optional components out of the image so I could shrink it down. O well.

Can you tell me what the displayed size of the Windows10.iso file is? When I use the download method you showed (with the box un-checked and 64-bit selected), the .iso file I get is shown to be 4,492,992 KB. But, I get errors when I try to burn this file, as if maybe it is corrupted?

Yeah this definitely doesn't work any longer... On 17 October 2023 this "DVD" ISO is just over 4.7GB in size; won't fit on a single layer DVD.

Doesn't work anymore... the disc image is still too big for a single layer DVD.

Is Windows disk image burner better than Rufus? Any one who has used both?

It won't fit, it needs a double layer or an 8.5 GB DVD or divide the Windows media into two parts by some means.
