I thought maybe I'd log in the account that took the video. After I allow access it will show Quest 2 drive on pc but there isn't anything in there, not even Internal shared storage folder

I had to disable auto link in the settings and also turn link off then reboot the device and say no to the link when asked and then I see the quest icon in my PC, not one thing is straight forward with this headsets.

Look in Android -> data -> com.app.name but honestly, I doubt your game progress will be saved by copying the device files. I believe all of your progress will be stored in the online database, so after you set up your new headset and sign in your progress will be the same as with the previous device.
Finally got mine to show up. I had to hold down the power button on my oculus and completely shut it down. Then plug it back in and turn it on. The usb prompt in the headset showed up and I clicked allow access and now it shows as Quest 2 in explorer (it was originally mtp usb in device manager). This is what worked for me, hope this helps.

Mainly pictures and videos. For example, If you use your recorder while in the headset, you can pull the videos and pictures off, however if you want to upload into a world or game that allows it, you can put them on.

I am trying to watch a movie in the head set from my PC.... how do I get rid of those windows that say no internet connection... they overlay the video and flicker it's annoying...thanks for the video. Yeah, I think I'm returning this. Too many requirements.... I been at it 3 hours now...I have also noticed the edges of the windows in the headset kind of squiggle ... it's not a very good video feed...def not worth $265.00.

@@FankubaVR That's the problem, try signing in from the main account (root account) then try connecting to your computer. You will most likely get the prompt. The issue I have seen is that when multiple accounts are on the headset, only the main one will receive the prompt.

@@JeffNoxThen someone may have hit "Do Not Ask Again" by mistake. You have to turn it on from the settings. You have to sign up as a developer on the oculus website, once you do that you can enable developer mode from the Oculus companion app on your phone. After that you can turn it back on

Hi, the prompt shows inside your headset. You should have it on while plugging in the cord

You can use any USB-C cable, but the official Oculus cable is long and firm fitting to the headset.

The issue I have seen is that when multiple accounts are on the headset, only the main one will receive the prompt.

When I plug in my headset nothing shows up :/
When you get a black screen like that you just have to press the Meta button on the right controller and it usually fixes it
