- My minor tribute to one of my mother's favorites. If she were still here, she'd be crying. RIP Charmian.
Christopher Plummer was wise not to choose a singing career, but he carries the tune just fine, and as his voice was the one Charmian and the others heard when they shot the scene, it seemed appropriate to use the original audio.

After Charmian Carr (Liesl) and Heather Menzies (Louisa), we lost the father, Captain Van Trapp, Christopher Plummer who is died today at 91 yo. RIP Captain!
Alexandre Bertrand-Lafleur gotta give them their flowers while their still here. Actors and people from that generation are quickly passing, sad but part of life

What a beautiful tribute! In honor of the ever so beautiful Charmian (Liesl Von Trapp) Carr. I am deeply saddened by her passing. I became a loyal fan, after watching the iconic musical " The Sound of Music", in which she starred alongside another beloved star of mine, Julie Andrews. You see; after watching "The Sound Of Music" with my older sister...btw, it's her favorite musical of all time, I was hooked. We made it a ritual to see it together and enjoy it whenever we get the chance to see each other. I fell in love with Liesl and my older brother, whose not into musical...saw it and fell in love with her too...who wouldn't? Well, I bid our beloved Charmian Carr a heartfelt farewell and I will cherish her memory as I know the rest of you, her loyal fans will. Peace and love be with you, Liesl...and thank you for everything!!

It’s x years later now and I still don’t feel like she’s gone. Like I can watch the whole movie and not think of her death because she was just that magical. It’s not like that with me for just anyone. Fly high Charmian 🕊

What a beautiful tribute to Charmian Carr in her most famous role as lovely Leisl Von Trapp in most famous musical "Sound of Music" and singing "Edelweiss" with her "father", Christopher Plummer. Tender father-daughter scenes and forever remembered for her most famous singing & dancing in gazebo scene - "I am sixteen...". So long, farewell, Charmian.
This is beautifully done, and CP's own voice sounds just right for this lovely tribute - thank you.

She's the first one who caught my attention when I've first watched the movie The Sound of Music.. And I got so curious about the cast and the real von Trapp family.. And I cried when I found out that she's already in heaven now. Rest in peace..

A beautiful tribute and video. I was and am , so sad about Charmian's death. Got slightly teary watching this. I wish there was a way to send a card to her 2 daughters, 2 sisters, and her 6 "Trapp" siblings.. I know the 7 of them remained , as a whole, close through the years which in itself is very special indeed.

If only Charmian Carr and Christopher Plumber hooked up. They would have been perfection. He is very careful about saying anything happened because of the age difference ofc.
Not a lot of difference between Plummer and the film's Bill Lee. I think I read that Plummer heard his version, then Lee's, and decided the latter was better.
He fought it but eventually he did admit Lee's was a better fit.

Well Plummers voice was off the set, live in one take. Lees was in a studio with all kinds of time given to get it perfect. Sad that Chris wasn't given the opportunity
