Epilepsy warning info: 2:18 - 2:37 and 6:45 - 8:00, flashing tiles on a dark background, was givin me a headache so I figured it was probably worth a mention.
This is apparently based off Día de Muertos or the day of the dead, which should be enough for anyone that doesn't know about the holiday to give it a nice google and have a read and for me to stop pretending I know things that I poorly learned well on 10 years ago.
Man that's some detailed food though. mm mm mm.

That's really nice, I like it 'cause it actually portraits some parts of the tradition, and that it doesn't do the "Mexico is just a big, empty desert" thing
Urotsuki laying down flowers for the dead is one of my favorite moments in the game. It's a good glimpse of her character.

Yeah, the wallpapers seem to have dropped off as time went on, it's unfortunate!
I really like this place. It's really deep and well-designed. The graphics are really cool. This place gives me a little nostalgia because I saw a video of this place when I first heard about Yume 2kki, especially the music!
Honestly, after it's had time to "simmer" sorta, one of my favorite areas.
Mexican stereotype before the Coco movie: Desert everywhere, mariachis, lazy guy wearing a poncho and a ridiculously large sombrero, sleeping on a cactus.

¿No era que la película de coco se estrenó en 2017 mientras que dream México se añadió a yume 2kki en 2015?
oh! recuerdo haber hecho ese evento antes, bueno, me parecio algo curioso que Urotsuki haya ido con vestido negro a dejar flores a un muerto, tengo varias teorias. por alguna extraña razon eso me recuerda a la pelicula "El libro de la vida". Y por ultimo, ese evento despues de hacerlo es permanente TuT

+a shrieking cloud of bats teoria: seria que Urotsuki (ya que esta dentro de sus sueños obviamente) le este dejando flores a algun pariente de su familia que haya muerto en mexico y que talvez le haya tenido mucho cariño

Una duda... En el mundo de las cosas raras esas... (El portal es un Triangulo verde) hay una entrada en el centro de aquel mundo en donde te lleva a otro lugar que te aparecen ovalos persiguiendote con un ojo en el centro, lo raro es que hay otro de esas figuras que es invisible y su silueta es de colores, el cual al tocarlo te teletransporta a una habitacion con dos puertas (derecha e izquierda) y hay que hacer un tipo de patron para poder ingresar, si te equivocas te echa devolviendote a la entrada y se rie. ¿Sabias sobre esto?
si se usa los anteojos, se puede ver el camino correcto en la casa con dos puertas.

lo mas curioso tambien es que en la antigua version tiene una especie de extraño laberinto

I remember seeing fikjif or whatever stumbling around here, but it's cool to see commentary-less gameplay, too. That sad death walk...

And yeah, super well handled event! I also like that it's not just an event, but a neat area too.
It's an amazing event, but I'm not a big fan of the fact that you can only ever perform it once and after that you have to start a new file if you want to see it again.
That and the fact that in the area itself, Urotsuki is constantly confined to the very bottom of the screen and the camera scrolls up and down to accommodate that, which is annoying when the world could just lock vertical scrolling. (Although I suppose that does prevent you from seeing the entire panorama or the entire eye sun, so I guess it's excusable)

Garden world, map with the yellow-green eye plants, you've gotta find the night-day toggle on that map before it'll show up though! Once it's night it'll show up, just to be 100% clear.
Pretty big map, no easy way to tell ya how to get to it once that's done, unfortunately.
