Tim is either: 1.) Cold and wants to wear the beanie for warmth 2.) Covering up a bad haircut 3.) Starting a new hip trend 4.) Just really loves that beanie, man
Patek Philippe Regulator 5235g is my ultimate favourite Patek Philippe, though I do adore the Patek Philippe Chiming Jump Hour Reference 5275P as my second! Each are gorgeous, but I love the vast majority of picks here in this awesome content! Merry Christmas to everyone at 1916 Company 🎄🎉☃️
As always fellas. Thank you so so much for the content. Tim, you could show up to the studio with a Borat swimsuit (nice beanie!😂)and I'd still love you for all the educating I've received. Well done both - wishing y'all a happy holiday!
As always, thanks for reminding us such interesting choices in PP, for me the 5275 embodies everything Patek is about... because I can't afford it I'm on the hunt for the VC Saltarello...
I hope you cover the original World Time watches, the 515 HU and the 96 HU, the 96 HU as it combines an interest in both the first World Time and the original Calatrava dress watch, the one that saved Patek.
Love your shows, but it looks like I'm not the only one who has questions about your sartorial choices The 5101P-010 is my absolute grail, but where do I find a matching toque?
Tim. The Patek 5000, 6000 and 6006 were inspired by Jaeger dials on vintage Ferraris. Remember that Luca Cordero di Montemolo met with Philippe Stern in 1991 to suggest a collaboration which never eventuated due to a disagreement about co branding. Refer to Vol V No. 2 pp10,11 of the in house magazine for the story. IYKYK.
top but… What about Chronograph Patek? they are realy fantastic… and for me the 5170p the first one with the home made mouvment platinium and diamond!!! à mustapha have
you have NO IDEA what he's going through. if you want to judge Tim's credibility by what he wears rather than his unassailable expertise and knowledge, you're the one who loses, not him.
ForeverBrooklynNYC reply: And since I have "NO IDEA what he's going through," re the cap, why don't you enlighten us? There are numerous options here- stay off camera until, say, whatever medical issue extant is resolved, if that's the rationale, use a substitute, suspend further videos, etc.
if it is a medical issue that doesn't endanger those around him and doesn't impede him from doing his actual job (entertaining and informing watch enthusiasts), why should he stay off camera? why should he be restricted from doing his job because you don't care for his objectively benign sartorial choices?
Today, you want him to stay off camera because his beanie offends your sartorial sensibilities -- tomorrow, you'd want someone else to stay off camera because you don't think his tie matches his shirt; the next day, someone else needs to stay off camera because they've gained too much weight during the holidays for your liking ... Once you establish ridiculously arbitrary standards, where does it end?
@@ForeverBrooklynNYCI'm glad there are some reasonable people out there. it's frankly kind of disgusting how many comments are flying around about this. Watches are cool but watch collectors are seriously condescending high school bully type meat heads that need to find a new hobby to ruin
Perpetually Patek is the best show on RUclips. I love Patek. NEVER stop doing this show. PLEASE
100% Agree!!
Another great episode! And great Kids in the Hall reference, Tim!! 😂😂
Can’t get enough of this show.
There's a new episode! It's been a while, but the wait was worth it. This is another great episode with a ton of information.
The perfect Saturday morning: espresso from a manual machine, a pancake with natural syrup and your enjoyable programme
💯
Indeed perfect

Brian can throw down with Tim when it comes to Patek. Impressive!

Thank you Tim and Team
Wonderful episode. Thank you. For next week’s episode on smaller case watches, do you mind covering 3588/1g? Much appreciated.

that chiming jumphour is unbelievable! Grail!

Great picks folks. Missed the 5070, 5970 and the uber distinctive and beautiful 5004 on the list!😁
Great show

Great episode. Sad to see such a storied company, capable of such amazing designs and engineering, spend all their effort on watches like the Cubitus.
Awesome, love the selections. I've always wondered if the smaller nautilus models are suitable for a man's wrist.
weren't they originally designed to be worn by men?
Please look at the 5066 aquanaut in the next episode! small but mighty especially the blue dial japan edition
Surprised 5004 was not mentioned
exactly. one of the ultimate pateks.

Kid’s in the hall!
Patek masterclass
I’m always surprised how many collectors enjoy these overly busy dials.
5101 amazing🎅Santa, you watching this.

Really hoping Tim isn't sick
I am launching a new brand - Pathetique Philipe

@@ameeral-shammaa9012Isn't it that you mustn't wear any headwear after the operation?
Or HIV
Did you consider that it might be a health issue ? Probably best to just let it go and quit bringing attention to it.
@@RaftGuidePhil Don't be spreading rumors, you are horrible!
@@MTbone7Who’s spreading rumors ? Quit bringing up a topic that dude obviously doesn’t want to discuss.
If we’re playing the dream watch that doesn’t exist game I’ll start with a 5275 movement, 5575 case, and a hammered dial (3567?). Who’s next!?
"...and it's the only Nautilus with a black dial!"
Next watch; another Nautilus with a black dial.
Is there a reason for Tim's headwear?
If yes then that's one thing? If not, then what are you doing man?
Brian shows up like a businessman. My God Tim, watch and learn?
Has Tim had head surgery? Otherwise, wearing a woollen knitted hat inside is a bit fringe. Ah! Maybe it's for effect - "look at me, look at me."
that hat was exxtremely misplaced. a complete lack o taste here. my god. scary
First the Covid mask whilst sitting on your own, now that hat indoors. FFS.
Such grievances of mass importance 😂 😂 😂
The man never stops giving 😅
He’s said before that he’s had health issues. Just leave it alone and enjoy the content. Dude works his ass off.
Tim. Hint: You're not doing your credibility any good by wearing a stocking cap indoors.
I'm pretty sure at this point that he has some sort of medical issue. I assume skin cancer surgery. That's why i have backed off on commenting.

Grandpa Scrooge: Hint: Its called a Beanie or Toque or even a HAT you curmudgeon. get a life and some prescription glasses
I had a significant wound on my head, shaved hair, and bandages present. But of course, you knew that.
Best,
Tim
@@the1916companywatchreviewsTim, so sorry you have to deal with such offensive and childish behavior dude.
Why are you wearing that hat
Why do you care my dude

What's with the toque with a suit? That's enough reason not to watch this channel.
That's both rude and ridiculous. tape a little hairpiece on your screen if the toque offends your eyes so much bro
Get a new hobby bro, its a fucking hat
Don’t watch then. Tim is the most knowledgeable watch expert on social media. Why do you care what he’s wearing ?
