Bro we get it you're a UFC shill.
Just to let you know, the PFL will never go bankrupt. So long as the venture capital from the Saudi oil barons doesn't run out, the PFL will be viable. The idea that the PFL will go under because of the lack of paperview sales is laughable.
Not even the UFC can sustain itself through paperview buys alone and it hasn't been like that since the early 2000s, at a time when the UFC spent years on the verge of bankruptcy. Why do you think the UFC makes deals with TV stations like Fox News and ESPN? Why do you think the UFC is in all of these contracts with governments like Saudi Arabia and Australia? The UFC receives a substantial chunk of its revenue from the aforementioned TV stations and governments, just like the PFL does.
And yet 1d10ts like you keep popping out of the woodwork insisting "Francis Ngannou is bankrupting the PFL! The PFL is wasting money! The PFL will go belly-up any day now guys! Trust me bro!"
Imagine shilling propaganda on a literal monopolies behalf and not even getting paid for it.

Your take on what makes a good or bad fighter, is something a casual would say to discredit someone who was just in the wrong weight class. Alex Pereira’s performance drops off considerably when he tries to cut an extra 20 lbs. That doesn’t make him a failed UFC contender. Dana needs to quit thinking that every promotion is a challenge to his legacy. Promotions like the PFL used to funnel prospects into the UFC.

To be fair to Impa Kasanganay, there have been plenty of people who have competed at lower weight classes and been beaten by smaller fighters, before moving up and having success at higher weight classes. Rumble Johnson was subbed by Josh Koscheck at 170, Robert Whittaker was TKO’d by Wonderboy, Charles Oliveira was a journeyman at 145 before moving up and having a HOF career at Lightweight, and there are countless other examples. I’m not sure we should hold that against Impa, especially after seeing Buckley’s performance against a former Interim UFC Champion.

I really liked PFL when I found them a couple of years ago. But the Francis signing, the Jake Paul collab, the debacle of the Bellator merger, losing Kayla before she fought Cyborg, and then effectively abandoning their season format for Francis. They are running a clinic on how to fail in the fight game.

ONE FC needs to seriously nix their MMA, every division is either stagnant or completely dead. they have serious kickboxing/muay thai talent to develop. the grappling can stay or go, sometimes its a nice break up from the usual striking. especially with mikey leaving and the ruotolo brothers transitioning to MMA/striking.

Ive paused so I'm not sure if you cover this but the point system is so dumb. In theory it's great and encourages fast finishes but does not account for stylistic matchups or skill disparity between opponents and in practice is rather unfair. There is probably no method to award points in a seasonal structure for MMA that is fair. Even if you reward all finishes the same regardless of the round, UD wins all the same and SD wins all the same the same issues arise. Pfl is worse than the meme that is karate combat 🤷

Pretty much how it is when there are no other option to fight anywhere as a Heavy Weight. The UFC knows they have the only decent Heavy Weight division in the world so they had too much control. In the end, Francis is getting paid in PFL but at the cost of the organization dying. He is the only real winner in this mess while the fan and UFC loses while the PFL mega loses.
I still dont know what they are planning to do with Francis

Dakota isnt going to get them shit except a lot of wasted money on promotion. Every fight promotion has been trying to push women fighters since ronda, and everytime it fails. Look at Shevchenko and Nunes.
Truth is no body wants to watch wmma, tbey have no technique and its never ever going to develop because there simply isnt enough women that train, because mma training generally doesnt interest women because they arent men.
