The History of The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Sonic The Hedgehog Balloon

During the early 90s, Sonic The Hedgehog was one of the most marketable and popular characters around. And in 1993, with the much anticipated release of Sonic 3 coming up the following year, Sonic hype was at an all time high. In fact, Sonic was so popular that he was given a spot among the top choice characters at the annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade! However, the Sonic balloon has a pretty interesting history with the parade, as he has made many appearances throughout the years, and has become pretty famous, or, perhaps infamous with fans of the parade.
