Thank you. It was a pleasure. I was there at/on Jasna Gora so many years ago, can't remember nearly anything... didn't see the city at all - that's why I enjoyed your video so much. Nice to see my Poland shown by an American. Lucky you. 😉 Jealous me. 😁
Czenstochowa - been their a number of times, very nice city. You mentioned having beer baths at the local browar - I am not sure if I would leave the tub at all. LOL For interesting baths and a future RUclips try going to Ustron the Uzdrowisko town about 2 hours drive south or you. Here you can take a mud bath zabieg where you strip down and the give you a male G-string. Then you lie in a bed and the pour hot mud all over you and wrap you up in blankets for about 10-15 minutes. Then you get out and the nurse hoses you down with a version of a Karcher power washer - sorry it does not clean all voids and mud is evident for at least a day or two after. Other zabiegs could be the Cryotreatment where you are given a touque (Canadian for a hat) and gloves and go into a room at -30C for some minutes - note that everything shrinks. Come down and try some of these for your "Love My Poland" RUclipss. Keep up the great work - I get a huge chuckle from all these as the really hit home. Take Care and Keep COVID safe.😎

When I studied in Częstochowa in 1999-2001 (on the WSL college) I would frequently visit the Grota pub (i don't think it exists anymore) and the Zanzibar club.
GREAT job ,Russell - "Chesty" is a beautiful place. And, your narration was fantastic. I'm thinking that Mike Rowe - the narrator for "Deadliest Catch" - is nervous now!!😀 If I ever get to visit, I'll have to check-out ALL THREE (# Amurican appetite) of those restaurants: the Italian restaurant; the Pierogi Bar ("Don't be a Burak, try our Zurek.") AND the cool, Medieval-themed restaurant. Lastly, would it be possible - in future videos - to do some on-screen interviews with residents? If not, no problem at all. PS As a gearhead, I HOPE my car has some Częstochowa parts in it!!😀👍
Just an idea or a suggestion - in Southeatern Poland there was once a significant number of Eastern Orthodox and Eastern Catholics. The Orthodox built beautiful and charming wooden churches. Due to WWII and the subsequent Operation Vistula, there was a lot of forced migration. The Lemkos (Rusyns) were pretty much forced out. I have found the history of these people interesting.
I saw this American flag the other day while walking past the street and I was wondering why is it there. I had no idea that I would run into this video. Wonderful video mate
I've found some words used in road slang, you can use them for one episode "Differences between ENG and PL in road slang". Here are the suggestions, which I heard in Częstochowa and maybe in other regiong there are more expressions: 1. When you start running out of fuel, then it beeps and in Poland some guys tell this thing "bailiff" (in Polish "komornik") 2. Tram is often called "przecinak" ("chisel" in English) 2. TAXI driver and often cab are called "złotówa" (and I can't translate this thing in English, so I don't even try to translate it)
I really like the pronunciation of polish words. I'm guessing the author may be quite fluent with polish language, full respect. Częstochowa is my city although I'm leaving abroad many years...
Zuzel or Speedway is popular but not quite like in Poland in some US States i am from Rzeszow but lived in Canada for 27 years now and there are speedway tracks in California most well known is in Costa Mesa as well as upstate New York(track in Owego) and Bruce Penhall of USA was speedway World Champion in 1981 and 1982.

Szkoda ze nie przedstawiłeś choc jednej fotki z wnętrza Jasnej Gory Sanktuarium i Kościoła. To było chyba jedyne miejsce w Polsce,
które nie zostało zrabowane przez Niemców w IIWS
Really great job!! Can't wait to see more places! I have been to Czestochowa lots of time and the road from Katowice takes forever because of the road.. Anyways I love watching your vlogs and see your point of view !

Dobra robota chłopie!
Właśnie jadę do Częstochowy:D
You're doing a good job for Czestochowa. I hope that one day the city council will thank you, for what you do.
I think that would be more like a punishment. Wolalbym sie wyprowadzic z Czestochowy na zawsze niz spedzic 5 minut z matyjaszczykiem.
ja mieszkam w Czestochowie ❤️❤️❤️

Ojczy
When I studied in Częstochowa in 1999-2001 (on the WSL college) I would frequently visit the Grota pub (i don't think it exists anymore) and the Zanzibar club.
When you studied you would visit something?
@siwuz84 oooo, to nie wiedziałem. Coś więcej na ten temat? Jaka zadyma?
na koniec świata i jeszcze dalej🚀
Łapka dla Częstochowy z Warszawy! :) Wybiorę się tam niedługo!
Born and raised in Częstochowa, so sad to have to move to Warsaw for college
…..greetings from Massachusetts!!......another very interesting video!..THANK YOU!!...
Come to Poland on vacation. Poland is cheap for Americans.
Tomasz Walter hehehehe is it the biggest advantage of visiting Poland?
I like watching you vlogs man😎good job 😎
GREAT job ,Russell - "Chesty" is a beautiful place. And, your narration was fantastic. I'm thinking that Mike Rowe - the narrator for "Deadliest Catch" - is nervous now!!😀
If I ever get to visit, I'll have to check-out ALL THREE (# Amurican appetite) of those restaurants: the Italian restaurant; the Pierogi Bar ("Don't be a Burak, try our Zurek.") AND the cool, Medieval-themed restaurant.
Lastly, would it be possible - in future videos - to do some on-screen interviews with residents? If not, no problem at all.
PS As a gearhead, I HOPE my car has some Częstochowa parts in it!!😀👍
Glad to hear that, Charlie!
Milosc miedzy amerykaninem a polka zaczela sie doklanie na drodze do kosciola w roku 1978. Do tej pory trwa tylko w innej wersji. Swiete miasto!
Im from Częstochowa
Just an idea or a suggestion - in Southeatern Poland there was once a significant number of Eastern Orthodox and Eastern Catholics. The Orthodox built beautiful and charming wooden churches. Due to WWII and the subsequent Operation Vistula, there was a lot of forced migration. The Lemkos (Rusyns) were pretty much forced out. I have found the history of these people interesting.
I saw this American flag the other day while walking past the street and I was wondering why is it there. I had no idea that I would run into this video. Wonderful video mate
Good job👏 waiting for more👍
Jezu widzę swoje miasto jak mi dobrze ;D
I've found some words used in road slang, you can use them for one episode "Differences between ENG and PL in road slang". Here are the suggestions, which I heard in Częstochowa and maybe in other regiong there are more expressions:
1. When you start running out of fuel, then it beeps and in Poland some guys tell this thing "bailiff" (in Polish "komornik")
2. Tram is often called "przecinak" ("chisel" in English)
2. TAXI driver and often cab are called "złotówa" (and I can't translate this thing in English, so I don't even try to translate it)
Awesome dziękuję!!
I really like the pronunciation of polish words. I'm guessing the author may be quite fluent with polish language, full respect. Częstochowa is my city although I'm leaving abroad many years...
👍
Zuzel or Speedway is popular but not quite like in Poland in some US States i am from Rzeszow but lived in Canada for 27 years now and there are speedway tracks in California most well known is in Costa Mesa as well as upstate New York(track in Owego) and Bruce Penhall of USA was speedway World Champion in 1981 and 1982.
Trójmiasto (Sopot, Gdynia, Gdańsk) it is super interesting!
Spoko, właśnie w tym roku wybieramy się z dziećmi na Jasną Górę.
I love it there
Before this, there wasn't no review like that. How would be Częstochowa for Int. students?
It's very funny that the best movie about this polish city is made by an American 😁. Thank you very much
I live on Częstochowa 💕
