Create A Quick Sci-Fi Hallway (Modular) - Blender 3.0 Tutorial
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 18 окт 2024
- In this tutorial, I go over how to create a quick sci-fi hallway. Also, just a heads up that this isn't a follow-along tutorial (just like my other tutorials) so you'll likely have to pause the video a couple times. I hope this is useful!
Some Notes:
Make sure to recalculate the normals (Edit Mode -- Object -- Normals) every time you mirror an object.
I've only used this method to create quick concept art, but if you plan to use these models in other software, you may want to merge certain vertices after bridging edges.

Thanks! Hope you have a great year as well!
Good content, need to get that volume up. I got blown out by the sound of the ads because I had your volume turned all the way up.
Great tutorial thank you so much! I do have one rookie question.. how did you move your loop cuts in separate directions at 2:17. Been pulling my hair out trying to figure it out?!
just put 2 loop cuts and then press g y and s

Excellent tutorial - thank you so much.
Excellent tutorial it's very useful
Love this tutorial!
Nice work, looks great!
Thanks!
Is there anyway we can get an updated tutorial, because even if I follow the actions you take directly, the options available don't match. You pressed tab at the beginning to get to edit mode, shift clicked to select the two sides...then I assumed you right clicked to get the options to select 'faces' and they opened up...but that doesn't happen for me. It simply opens a bunch of options under a pretext of FACES but none of the options do that. I need some help cause this tutorial does the things I wanna do...but I can't even get passed the first step due to a difference in UI options. I need help. 😢
Quick question, wouldn't it have been more efficient to create most of everything inside the straight hallway first and then duplicate and modify to create the left/right/4 way hallways so you don't have to recreate all of the hallway details, pipes, and floor details again 4 more times? Or am I missing something? Maybe if you want more variety you wouldn't do what I asked
I noticed you make minor changes off camera, good tutorial otherwise.
at 2:27, the extruded part is instantly flush with the floor without explanation. I just have a hard blocky edge, its not seamless with the ground.
yeah there was modifications made that were NOT included in the video. Super annoying!!!
am i dumb or am i just missing a part? but when you talk about duplicating the segments theres the line of "if you scaled everything properly like we said earlier" ...,but we aint ever scale anything... unless im incompetent and just didnt notice this is still a default cube with a squished top and some bevels, but aint no scaling happening is there?
muito bom, obrigado por compartilhar!
why is the resolution only 360p, anyway loved the vid
It probably takes some time after the upload.
Dawg, I dont know how to do most of the shortcuts you used in the video, at least have a pop up of the shortcuts you use xD
Texture file links please
mirror isnt working :(
lol i found the same texture
2:15, it will be really nice if you say wich keys i have to press to get the parallel cut, i can't do it lmao
stumped there too
