I don't get why you need the toilet paper underneath? Why not just stitch together the fabric pieces without it? Thank you from a real newbie sewer :-)

I dont understand the toilet paper, surely the fabric then cant be washed ?

Hi Kat, it's to use as a stabilizer. Also when you cut it, it's all nice and uniform. Hope this helps x

You could cut up kitchen paper roll and use it... or even rolled up packing tissue paper should work x
