Opal Tag CDC Emerger - Emerger- Fly Tying with John Murphy

My personal favourite when it comes to fishing an emerger on the rivers. The Opal Tag Emerger.
Over the years I’ve changed the dressing to the one I’m sharing with you now. I’ve changed the dubbing blends, along with a variety of different tags. This is the variety that I personally have had the most success with and hopefully you will too.
Tied in 14-18

Rib: Silver Wire (0.2mm)
Tag: UTC Opal Mirage Tinsel (M)
Dubbing:
Body - Hendz Hare (02)
Thorax - Kindale Natural Squirrel
