Heard of the Garuda Sanjivani root? Might wanna. I’m pretty sure it’s how planes fly. Jet planes w spirals on the front of the “engine”. Just fun. Fun to calculate the length and diameter of fueling hose...not to mention the time took to “fill” wings w fuel compared to alotted amount needed for proposed miles traveled...just fun. 😉
Have you calculated a volumetric flow target range for the completed design? With that, plus the btu's generated and the basic gas laws you should be able to find the probable nominal thrust of the motor - which I suppose is what I'm asking. For its size, if you get 2-3 kg or more you would have something insanely great. Turbojet R/C flying for the masses, tiny, very fast drones...
Not much jet engines are like animal's as smaller they become their metabolism gets bigger At best this jet engine could output 10W of power in thrust with efficiency of 5 to 20%
@@joejia1410 well these types of jet engine parts need to be machined by EDM machine with platinum electrode with negative impression of the turbine wheel To grind the inconel into shape As jet engine becomes smaller it has lower running pressure and it compesades by hotter gas meaning that turbine needs to survive up to 1500 degrees Celsius

We'll have these powering our laptops in no time!
You need a Markforged METAL 3D Printers for yours projects.
Great work but where is the reste of the engine .. . Exiting another part ??

Very nice design smooth flow through a combustor
I whould like to donate but i don't have credit card currently but expect donation in the future :D
Hello, great chanel. Will u be interested to outgoing force converter?
Where is part 3?
Do you know how fuel/heat efficient jet engines are?

It has been 6 months so I guess it doesn't work
Mystic Accending it does work, it costs a lot of money which i do not have, godspeed 👍
The price for machining just the axial turbine on that scale whould cost up to 200 dollar's
Just for turbine wheel
@@paulie1982 how much?
@@blackturbine thats a hell lot

Badass
