Hey JP. Glad your weather was good for you. My dream was to get to El Nido.. I sold all my stuff came to the PH and finally after 3 years, made the trip to El Nido. But guess what? The weather was bad every day ,no sunshine to showcase the beautiful waters or white sands...Was a bummer as I do photography. So to those who read this, avoid El Nido in the rainy season if you want the picture perfect scenes as I did. It was a hard lesson learned as without the sun El Nido is missing the magic.
Yeah we got lucky because July is usually supposed to be bad and it was nice the majority of the time but now on august it’s pretty much always cloudy and rainy
Yeah we have been lucky really, there has only ever been one case in el nido so things are pretty open. Plus nobody is here so very safe to go out, everywhere is deserted

@Jesus Tiglao I beg to disagree, because before VLOGGING went TRENDING we have here in PH, BYAHE NI DREW (a local show/travel documentary that was aired on the NATIONAL TV and even up to these days) which gave US MOST FILIPINOS the GLIMPSE that you are talking about, hence we have local vloggers too, these local vloggers influenced these foreign people to visit PH (which is spectacular how these local influencers did their jobs) Let's also add the publicity that PH government did too. It is indeed IRONIC if you dont know these facts. On contrary, we definitely thank them that they've chosen PH/Palawan but not on showing us the beauty of it, because prior to their knowledge, we know that every nook of PALAWAN has its own potentials and it offers unique views to the travelers that are meant to be explored.

The drone footage just had me lost in a fantasy I wished to escape to and stay forever. My dear friends Chris and Carolina, so glad to see you both out exploring more of the island. Yes we have for about two months. The only problem is we have people coming to our state since the virus was gone. Now we have had outbreaks and it is from protesters of each group hiding out here. We do not have them doing anything because this is a hunting state and we all carry a firearm 😉they know better. I have been out taking photos and remaking videos. On my way to the Canadian border to take some pictures of a Norwegian church and things. Thank you and Carol for writing me as it means very much to me!! Best way to find fish when snorkeling is to look for rocks on the ocean floor - the coral grows on the rock and the fish eat the coral. Sand is fish pooped coral. The island looked like the perfect snorkel spot. Maybe you could kayak out there. The fluffy dogs looked like the Lhasa Apso breed to me. So cute those two. Loved this video guys, always get excited when I see your vid's. I love Pancit, my friend makes it here in Hawaii and it's so good. I just can't seem to recreate her recipe after trying several times. She must have a secret ingredient.

not only that the beach is crystal clear, the blue sky is so amazing and sadly not too many appreciate how good the sky is in Philippines. You won't see any good blue sky anywhere else, most of the skies in other countries are gray and less blue.

Been to Palawan many moons ago. Spent time in El Nido. Went to Underground River near Sabong. I loved Minilok. Stayed in Puerto Princesa. Came from Amanpulo. Love your videos. You have to see St. Paul's Underground River. Also check out Louis Restuarant in Puerto Prenceasa.

Not a bad place to be stuck at guys. I was in Palawan for the first time last February and left the Philippines just before the lockdown. Totally enjoyed the islands! I am a Filipino that lives in NYC but also call Lisbon home (second home). Unfortunately, US citizens are not permitted to visit Portugal at the moment. Hope to see you guys in the Philippines one day or even in Portugal. In the meantime, keep enjoying the Philippines!
You have both demonstrated such a mature & serene manner while "stuck" there! No whining. I totally understand that while it's gorgeous there, you'd rather be somewhere else. the small island is actually home for sea snakes so I wouldn't recommend going there. I was lucky I didn't get there via kayak. Only learned about the snakes from some tourists that pushed through. Nevertheless, Sibaltan is a hidden gem of El Nido. Try staying in Tapik Beach House next time.
