It's not a question of women's voices or men's voices, nor high notes or head voices, it's a question of training in opera or pop. And there, only Shenshen had this operatic training. So, only Shenshen sang this Habanera correctly (even if his French was not perfect, but that doesn't matter). Anyway, the performance was so funny, and all the singers obviously had a lot of fun. It was absolutely lovely. That said, I have a little preference when Chinese singers mix their Chinese opera with our Western opera. It is often beautiful, surprising and funny at the same time. For example, take a look at this "Phantom of the opera" where rock opera, Western opera and Chinese opera mix with a kind of crazy music hall revue...
