    For the record, these jeans are from Pakistan not UK. Also the CE certificate is issued to a different company. No contact address something that is required for UK companies.

    The Netherlands is pretty much part of the European continent. For some reason you said both Europe and the Netherlands. Thanks for the thorough review. I'm not sure what "motorcycle jeans" are but they are pretty much worthless in a crash. I have Kevlar lined jeans and they are quite warm due to the extra fabric lining but plain cotton fabric is going to shred in no time on contact with the pavement. Guys, get Something like this, please!! Or Draggin Jeans.

    Why a double loop at the back? You can pull your belt behind the logo patch

      I think the double loop is just because that's a common stress point. When you are bent over the handlebars and riding your belt tends to pull there, and the logo patch doesn't offer quite as much width if you are wearing a wider style belt.

    Good review im 5ft 7 and have trouble finding jeans to fit did you get the regular or the cargo jeans

      I had the regular style jeans. It can be frustrating to get sizes which fit when you are shorter. I do like the tighter fitting, stretchy style fabrics for this reason, though. At least you don't have extra fabric flapping around if they are a little big.

    After seeing a severe crash review of these jeans, I am sold. Much better than an over pants and provide 75% of the gear most won't wear. Worth the money seeing the armor, and your review during every day riding. 🫵

    Possibly the additional belt loops would be good for the jackets that provide for belt loop attachment in the rear

    I want to ask you about "ball room" ( No, I'm not talking about fancy dance venues).
    Are they loose enough down there where it doesn't feel tight. Each bike has you cutting differently and some ergonomics can get uncomfortable to that southern region. Some motorcycle jeans have stretchy material there and makes it more tolerable. You get my drift.
    I'm am in need of decent pants. Cycle gear was advertising Klim Dacar pants, but were out of slot of sizes
    I like that it's CE 2 rating. How did the sizing fit you? I'm usually a 34-35 jeans and most side 34 Mc pants are loose.

      These do have some stretch. Maybe slighty less than the Speed And Strength jeans I own, but enough to make a difference. I would say the fit tends a little more towards tall and skinny than short and fat, but still within normal range. The rise, which is the height from the crotch to the waistband, is not short. I haven't noticed any problems with the "boys" being cramped. It can be tough to find jeans in stock, I know. You find something you finally like, and then they don't have your size! I did a review of another pair of jeans which are also stretchy: ruclips.net/video/ygT9aX9B8fw/видео.html

    Great review! How have the jeans done over time? Do they shrink much after washing/drying?

    • @tinderboxarts
      @tinderboxarts  3 года назад

      Not a lot of shrinkage in the wash, and I use hot water and a long dry cycle. They stretch back out for any minor shrinkage. I haven't had a whole lot of riding time with them, though, due to covid and a tough winter. They appear pretty tough.

    Thankyou for the review..
    I do have a question for you though. Are the jeans anybit water tolerant / water proof? Do they get soaked and stay wet like regular jeans?

    • @tinderboxarts
      @tinderboxarts  3 года назад

      I know what you are getting at, but there really isn't any appreciable difference between regular jeans and jeans with these special fabrics when it comes to water. Possibly they may dry slightly quicker, but if you get wet you're going to be wet either way.

    Thanks for the review. How comfortable are these in the warmer weather?

    • @tinderboxarts
      @tinderboxarts  3 года назад +1

      You know, all of the jeans with aramid or dyneema tend to be a little warmer to wear than regular jeans. They just don't breathe as much as pure cotton. These jeans in the video are no worse than any other, though.
