If I had been him, I would've just pocketed a few stacks of bills when no one was paying attention rather than try and run with the whole bag.
Desperate people make stupid decisions in their time of need
That's if you was thinking logically In the Heat of the Moment instead of just seeing a bag of cash with that Adrenaline Rush that was going through him all he saw was the money and he grabbed it and ran but yeah you right most people in a calm normal State of Mind year that have grabbed a couple of stacks and just called it a day
and you still would have been arrested. In this scene, Im hoping that the judge will be lenient on the sentencing.
@Bobbito Chicon smartest thing would be leave it
Knock a stack under the seat when you looked up to see that awesome take down.
Yikes these moments kill me, first a desperate father, then a broken yet bleeding marriage, and now a fully grown child in a man. It really gets to you
3:09 that's so sweet that she immediately tried to calm him down

seeing the dad leave the kid is soo heartbreaking 😭
9:07 that part just made me think about what he’s thinking about I know he’s sorry for something he did and he didn’t mean it man these things get me sad
Honestly that's part of why it's so sad and dangerous when the developmentally disabled interact with police. These actors did a good job of portraying a good interaction, even though they're still things that they did I disagree with. But like the brother said because of his functioning level it's easier to compare them to a adult sized kid than it is an adult. and you have to recognize that even though he's holding a knife it's not as sinister as it would be if it was an adult of average developmental ability
@@kylovesart Even worse when someone like you thinks they have the right to speak for us,
that’s how you handle a situation like that. instead of shooting and killing the person, you need to be patient and find ways to deescalate without violence. when it comes to people with disabilities and mental illness, violence never helps, only worsens.
True. Unfortunately sometimes there isn’t time and the officers have to make a horrible choice.
Nah man shoot is the better option
in real life these situations sometimes can last hours. and when the cops shoot that gets uploaded...
The majority of the time they do. Cops go on those calls everyday, but sometime de-escalation isn't an option, and that's what makes the news
Luckily Officer Doug Stanton wasn't in the series at that point otherwise that scene would have played out very differently
actually its when the bubbles on the pancakes start to pop is when you flip them. thats what my mom tells me and i love her pancakes.
Same

Love my mom's pancakes as well!
If possible, call your mum and see how she is
i also love your mums pancakes
damn that last scene, people should do that instead of screaming at a mentally unstable person and threatening to shoot them
And then, you know. Actually shooting them, or choking them to death, or whatever.
Because that's what usually happens.
red engineer You know nothing, stop being so ignorant.
@@cameronswansson4125 Funny, seeing as I'm basing this off of the fact that I've seen it in the news over and over and over again.
@@redengineer4380 That's the problem. The news doesn't report objective facts or seek evidence based analysis. You no longer see true journalism. You see the mainstream media pushing an agenda, painting a narrative over and over and over to brainwash and indoctrinate the masses. They are leftist outlets and extremely biased. All for the sake of power. Divide and conquer, in this case for votes. Just because you see CNN and all other media outlets perpetuating the same things over and over doesn't mean your watching logical, objective & truthful news. It's fake news.
@@mouthbreather280 I'm aware they cherry pick their facts. Trust me, I know. That doesn't change the fact they keep killing mentally ill children.
My brother has something similar, he looks normal but he has the mind of a small kid. I've had bad episodes when people don't understand that he is just a big kid with a man's strength.

He took the money and ran but this is kind of sad. What exactly did he think was going to happen? He thought that would just say okay sir we understand and have a nice day.
People really think they can understand and plot and plan what they're going to do in the Heat of the Moment and no you can't and that moment all he saw was a bag of cash in front of him and knew all the problems that he had and saw a possible solution it was only after he did it in the adrenaline died down and he started to think what the f*** did I just do which is what happens to most people
Some people are so desperate that they rationalize any possibility.
When it comes to survival some people are willing to do whatever it takes, no matter how dumb or how reckless.
Sometimes people act out of pure necessity. Depending on how difficult ones situation may be and how desperate they are, ones rationale changes. Pure survival instincts kick in, pushing aside our ability to think. In cases like the money grabber, the rewards (in his eyes) outweigh the risks
Guy was playing a guitar on a train for spare change, his water was turned off and from the sounds of it he's been struggling to buy food (probably would have given any food he can afford to his kid) then he gets a bag of money dumped in front of him, not surprised he took it he probably didn't even think.
The last one hits me hard. Because I am special needs and I use to be like him and hit myself when I did things wrong. I use to scare my mom. My mom use to hug me and sing to me to calm me down and I would break down. Apparently I have some sort of mental problem.
If you had that kind of problem you would not realize it so I call bullshit
Ethier way that last one hit hard bruh
@@frankieelder3210 well no..there’s different types it’s not all the same. i doubt he has the same exact thing though
Each mental health is diffrent. Each mental health patients have a diffrent level of age and issues. Like some can be very kiddish, some is not the right age group, or last but not least think as the same age as they are. Some dont relize they got mental health and others not so much. I didnt know but I did find out I had it by family members and docters. People can be uncomfterable or dont understand mental health issues. Like a example when someone talks to themselfs. First thought they are crazy and stay away. When in reality not all of them are dangerous. Its just they way are. Anouther one would be bipolar. Usually when people hear it or see a maniac episose. They think the person is crazy. When in reality they have no control of thier emotions and just reacts. Evan being in the same mental health group thier can be a spectrum. Some grows out of it and others never get rid of it. It can be caused by evirement, genetics, etc. Its diffrent for each person who goes threw mental health, thier expriences, thier thoughts, the way it affects them.
@@frankieelder3210 Actually sufferers of learning disabilities do realise what they have later on in life. Not all of them, but it's definitely not impossible for JD to have learned what he has.
It doesn't always mean they're unstable. As long as they have the right help from friends, family, professionals etc they can thrive in life too
As someone who deals with people who are mentally ill, the last one is way too accurate. I feel so bad for him…
I love how the guitarist just takes the money and runs.
Yo I wasn’t expecting them to speak Persian 😻👏
When I heard them speaking Persian I was hollup I think I understand since im persian
Yo i told my mom that they were speaking Persian in an American show lmao

I love this show so much as soon as I have finished the seasons I come to RUclips to watch clips of it lmao
6:55 hits close to home. My uncle chuck has autism and got arrested once when people thoight he was high or crazy in public before I was born. Back then cops were not as educated as they are today about these things. That just makes me think what he was going through. Even if it was fictional she did a good job.
The last bit made me cry he didn’t know and he was so sad ❤️
I hate those calls there was a D.V women didn't want the dad to see the kids they left 39 minutes later suicidal call same address it was the dude then was suicide with gun then he killed himself because he can't see his kids.

This is what I hate about money. Endless tragedies, endless crimes, endless lives dead over filthy money.
I'm starting to realize that money can be as big of a hazard as power in the wrong hands.
The last clip with the guy and the knife. THATS HOW YOU HANDLE MENTALLY ILL PEOPLE! Take notes Cops! You don't scream at them you talk to them! They did it so well!
Exactly!
They are not real cops and it's not always that easy
@LeoVids you listen, not gunho like the other guy... you listen and process and then maybe de-escalate it. not everything is a gun or die thing...
no you shoot them lol waste of tax dollars
Yeah like it is that easy. Come on man it is a tv show, it HAS to work. In real life, there is actually a possibility of failure unlike a tv show. And possibly getting people hurt or worse

how good this kid is at acting.. I forgot it's a show for real
Shown: How police are SUPPOSED to act.
The last one its just really sad. Thats why bringing a nurse with cops during mental break down should be mandatory
Just proper training and awareness we need cops to be responsible and held accountable for all situations as public servants not as "enforcement"
"Officer Chen there's a gun in there" - Fellow officer. Yes because you would waste precious time and words and say "officer chen" instead of just "There's a gun in there" or "Chen there's a gun in there."
Chen gun gun gun!!! Works too
"Chen, gun upstairs!"
Unfortunately young children don't understand, all they see is mommy and daddy being taken away from them and they go to a terrible place called CPS. That leaves them with a lasting impression of Police Officers and many times it's not a good impression.
Sadly, but that's still their parents' fault.
If they're smart, they'll understand that.
It doesn't mean they'll stop loving them.
NAH 00:57 NOLAN REALLY SAID “IM TAKING YOUR WEEVE OFF” IM CRYING….
I was crying watching this
R.I.P. Captian Anderson 😭😭😭
You can clearly see the heart break in the officers eyes.
I feel so bad for the kid
I knew that man was gonna kill himself. The glass breaking was enough context. The air was filled with his pain. And now, the result.
5:16 I- I was actual shook I thought he was testing bullets but..uh..I swear my jaw dropped 😶
Ok, he pretty obviously going to kill himself. The show even made him say “my life is over” and “gun in drawer”. Suicide is always more likely than shooting someone else when people are emotionally distraught and have a gun even accidental shootings
That last scene almost made me cry. It broke my heart
its sad they still arrest him stupid cops

Possession of stolen property
@@patrickmcgowan7325 Well I suppose, but that's a wobbler. This guy is clearly a sympathetic first time offender, I think they'll let him off with a misdemeanor and he'll get his kid back.
Aside from theft, idk.
5:05 reminds me of Call of Duty : Black Ops 1 campaign
The sad part is that they have cameras on them. They couldn't have let him go even if they wanted to.
Honestly I know they were doing their best to show a realistic portrayal of what would happen or at least what they think should happen. But what frustrates me about the scene with Tyson is if you watch closely he wasn't raising the knife to them. He's raising his hands like they told him to and he happened to be holding the knife. I know these situations are tricky but if they hadn't immediately reacted the way they did and recognize the fact that he was trying to comply with their demands, the situation with deescalated far a quicker than it did. Part of why he got more agitated was then raising their guns, but also part of it was his confusion. He did what they said but they were still mad at him.
Police are trained to deal with things a certain way. They see a knife, they react a certain way. Does it sometimes make things worse? Sure. That being said, the idea that they should instead try to ponder about whether the knife is actually a threat to them every time they see it would just lead to a lot of deaths in the end, as MOST times someone raises a weapon to them, it'll be to do violence. Law of averages.
This is a great example of why a cop ISN'T who should be called to deal with something like this where a person is mentally challenged in some way. Unfortunately, our current system doesn't have a better option.
They saw the knife, that was enough to make them react the way they did
They speak Persian I was shocked and it was kinda cool
Just imagine, the dude that took the money couldve had a peaceful day and he wouldve been with his son. I get that after his wife died, stuff for him went downhill. But you stole the money and made things worse for not only you but for your kid too😕
To be honest,, I don't care if that guy broke the law, I feel the cops could've let him go because no child should have their parents taken away right in front of them.... Those police officers looked at the kid getting upset.... Thought about it for a second.... Yet they still took his daddy away in front of him
Honest question here. When those two officers entered the mansion with the couple fighting, can they do so without a warrant or are they free to do so when they heard the commotion?
it heat breaking and I undersrand why the dude did it I am sure I would have done the same as well, but stealing stolen money from a crook not only brakes the law, but also put you and your family in danger, what if the dude was not alone and had a buddy with him and they found out who took the money.
Dude what an actor that little kid is man
5:34 “Well the good news ma’am, you now get all of the belongings. The bad news, he’s very dead.”
Many of these arrests seem completely unjustified. Crime hurts, but justice should heal, not cause more damage.
Best episode so far
Man i feel bad for the guy who had to leave his child I get its a show and all but like still the acting is too good

yo we gotta talk about how good that kids acting is
I'm watching the whole series through Yt rn

I feel worse for the kid. He lost both parents.
The dad made the bad choice, the kid didn't.
(They should just let him go, but it's his fault)
the old man like do i get a medal
That last one was so sweet
Real question though, you know how you can't arrest kids right?
What if someone has committed a crime or is a threat, but has a mental illness where they may be an adult on the outside... but mentally, they are a 12 year old child?
I'm sure at some point in history police have responded to this type of thing... but knowing America police, they probably just shot him or her on the spot. My question is what do you do as a police officer knowing what we know now?
This hits harder when your name is Jacob
Honey wish this was full seasons :(
that is what fmovies.to is for
Oeeoeorke
If they have "discretion", they should just let him go. He's not a threat to anyone and didn't harm anyone. They should let it go and focus on the real dangers.
I do not know how it works in California but in Minnesota a wife is not entitled to just kick a husband out of the house because they are getting a divorce. Until the divorce is settled it remains both of their houses and the Husband outside of a restaining order or court order can come and go as he pleases.
