This thrift store is the same one we've been to before: 買取王国 and this branch is the マイシュウサガール one (www.okoku.jp/inc/shop/detail301) We always drive so I'm not even sure if you can get there by train. But a common thrift store chain all over the country is Book Off. Some Book Offs have cheap clothes sections. They also have a purely clothing thrift store offshoot called Mode Off.
Do you guys have a Watt mans in your area? If so how do you feel about them? I used to go to one when I lived in japan a couple years ago and found the pricing was great for clothes and they had a ton of stuff. I couldn't speak Japanese well so i always just assumed it was a lot like a thrift store here in America.

Lol Jun's comments XD When shopping it's so helpful to have someone you trust around that can state their opinion freely. Makes the shopping experience so much better.
When we first started dating I let Jun know that when I ask for his opinion on my clothes I really mean I want his honest opinion. I’ve been told my boots “look like hooker boots” before. I have no regrets.
I feel like as a guy, sometimes you can't freely express what you think because the girl you're shopping with would take it personally or get mad at you/think less of you for it. Like the "hooker boots" or the "too old" comments would land you in some pretty hot water even if they ask your opinion and that's genuinely what you think. I think that can be why some guys don't like to shop for clothes with their wives/girlfriends... you either go around biting your tongue or you're made to feel guilty for expressing you opinions. If you can genuinely say what you think though, without the person taking it personally or holding it against you then it's not so bad :)

It's really not that rare though! 😅 Like, most women I've ever met of any age - in Poland and in the UK, and also from many different European countries like France, Lithuania, Latvia, Italy, Germany, Spain - love buying clothes in thrift stores and are proud of getting a good bargain! Among a lot of young people (certainly the people I'd met at school, undergrad uni, postgrad uni, work, art/music/etc events), getting clothes from thrift stores is considered cool - both in terms of being hip, fashionable and quirky or "vintage" and in terms of wearing second-hand clothes being better for the environment. If anything, most girls/women I'd been friends with, as well as myself, would consider buying expensive clothes not only unnecessary, but snobbish and ridiculous! 😂 I'd be ashamed to tell my friends if I spent more than reasonable on a single piece of clothing... I dunno, like more than £50 for a dress (and it would have to be an amazing quality dress for me to spend £50 on it! 😅 and I'd certainly downplay it!). On the other hand, if I got a dress for £2 in a charity shop I'd be showing my friends like: "OMG, look what a bargain I got!" 😁 Sure, I've also met people who are into expensive brands and look down on cheap /second-hand clothes - but I'd say in my experience, those are the ones who are rare! And they would generally be considered snobbish, stuck up, elitist, entitled, materialistic or just "rich toffs" (very British term for stuck up wealthy people)! 😂😛 But I guess it depends where you live and what kind of people you have in your community /school /work /who you surround yourself with as friends... 🤔 I wonder where do you live /what kind of community are you part of where normal women who are not overly materialistic and snobbish and like a bargain are rare? 🙄😋

What I love most about Rachel and Jun over the years is that as we see the evolution of Jun’s English, we also see the evolution of his ability to drag Rachel around the earth in English. It’s wonderful.
The first time I went to japan I was a bit sad because I couldn't find clothes in shibuya 109 and the thrifts stores in harajuku because it was so expensive but I got lucky because I stumbled upon a thrift store and my god its heaven I love them because the clothes is actually cute!! And affordable!!
I realized that at 4:45 Rachel was recording herself and then I asked, how is she driving and recording!? Then I realized Japan drives on the right side. LOL!
Lord knows that is true! I have to either get an Large or X-Large in women's when I am really just an small or medium in women's. Then when people ask me "why do you were such baggy clothes? You have such a lovely figure!" I just want to scream at them then grab them by the throat and shake. I am honestly tired of explaining that thank you for the compliment but until there is actually clothes that fit for my particular dimensions that I am drawn to and like, I am stuck with these baggy clothes. The funny thing is I am actually drawn to what Rachel is pulling out and trys on especially that fun tropical top, but with my luck it would be either too tight in the bust or way too big. Long story short, and this is why I proudly shop at thrift shops, the older clothes fit better.
@@JapaneseVixenofArt I totally feel with DBA, especially since i'm pretty dang busty. My advice? Melissa Soto Actually there are some in Texas. Thrift stores with clothes as cheap as $0.25 to only Max $2!! It goes down 25¢ each day. And if you really search and go early, you can find brand name stuff!
I recently received a dress from my sister as a hand-me-down, and it’s now my absolute favorite dress that I own. It’s a dark red and white striped T-shirt dress, but flowier. Helps me beat the Indiana summer heat, and I can wear it without someone asking why I’m so “dressed up.”

Rachel reminds Jun of his parents. They're finally at that stage of their relationship :D
“I don’t want to sleep with my dad every night” IM CACKLING
Jun just literally says you look nice in everything
I wish american thrift stores had that system too :/
Melissa Soto Actually there are some in Texas. Thrift stores with clothes as cheap as $0.25 to only Max $2!! It goes down 25¢ each day. And if you really search and go early, you can find brand name stuff!
I love how Jun is happy to go shopping with Rachel and gives advice by saying "cute" and "pretty". Rachel is so gorgeous, I love her hair 💜
12:57 "I don't want to sleep with my dad every night" lmao 😂😂😅
OMG!! Rachel is so beautiful without makeup!!! Her face is so gorgeous!!!
They will still stare at you because you’re redheaded! Bahahahha. “All around the world same song”😁😁😁😁🔥😩😩
I didn't know Jun was a comedian, until this vlog XD Also I loved those skirt/pants and that top together! Such a cute outfit!
When you hear that Rachel and Jun love Sawbones too!!! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ 😆
Those clothes are super cute!! Almost as cute as Rachel and Jun!!
Rachel and Jun, you guys are such beautiful people individually, and as a couple you are so cute!! 😊😆 I love your videos! ❤❤
