that school, and many like it, are so deceitful. and the way they cycle you in from a young age, graduate, become a teacher, and then send your own kids to that very same school (probably for free or at a discounted price if you're a teacher/alumni)... that is 100% how you fall into the trap of a cult.

I had a job interview where the owners were scientologists. It was a full day working interview. I had to do these weird personality tests and there was a weird question about my hair and hair cuts. There were tons of books written by L Ron. Looking back I should have just walked out, but I needed the job (which I did not get anyways lol)

My husband went to a Mormon elementry school when he lived in Toyko. I don't think it was an accident, I think it was just the cheapest option they had.

First of all, yes to Filipino food 🇵🇭! Jollibee doesn't get hyped enough so glad you featured it first on this new series.
Secondly, it is very very common in Catholic communities in the Philippines to have generations grow up from pre-kinder to high school in Catholic schools. Even the top universities in our country are Catholic, meaning we are "encouraged" to pray before we start a lecture. So having this setup is really the best way to keep the religion going but sadly, this only teaches kids how to obey blindly and not have the choice to choose their faith.
