I can just see it. I'm standing in front of the pile of ash that was my house and the UPS guy drives up and hands me my brand new replacement escape ladder. I'm good to go! :)
Do you have a follow up video of us watching you use it? I just ordered an escape ladder that I think I have to practice on which I'm pretty freaked out about. lol
@@TheShootersBay No, I can tell. I have another one with bigger top grippers and even that was too small to fit the window ledge and hook over the sill, so I'm thinking of a simple rope now. My window is Victorian, not modern, so it's not the style that most of these ladders are designed for.
It seems you need the three story ladder.

The hooks would not fit my window and the wall's not flat underneath, there's a bay window sticking out, and the ladder looks like it tangles easily.
Did you try it out?
