Awesome little release by the looks and sounds of it. Sadly I can’t do that pull through technique on either one of my index style releases. Thanks for sharing this Josh. Definitely gives me something to consider
I have been using this release for the past 11 months, 5-6 days a week, hunting, target practice and 3D. It performs just like the day I bought it. The strap adjusts short enough, that I can overlap my index finger and thumb to make a small circle for a clean pull through. This is my 5th index style release and for me it’s not even close how much better I shoot with this one, more than anything else I own. I LOVE IT.
i have the stan solex with the threaded bolt attachment. i like it, but i wish it would swivel. i probably wouldnt have bought it if i could have tested it first. I would like it to have a set screw to set the length and still be able to swivel.
I’m using the UV thumb button. Like you I have it set with practically no travel and with a decent amount of force for it to go off. I was using the spot hog wiseguy. I’ve got a lot more consistent with the thumb whether it’s all between my ears or not who knows.
I’ve. Had one for about 6 months. Took some getting used to. Getting the exact DL kept driving me nuts. It is a really awesome one for a hundred bucks. The adjustable strap model is way more practical for best setup IMO. 👍👍
That's awesome man! I went through two of them. One seized up and wouldn't unlock. The other wouldn't stay locked. I remember seeing a pile of them that came in for warranty at the pro shop. Very cool you haven't had issues, cause that release is awesome.

I like zero travel with enough tension I’m not worried about setting it off getting my finger into position. It is a really awesome one for a hundred bucks. The adjustable strap model is way more practical for best setup IMO. 👍👍 It’s sad to me to see so so many in all these RUclips TAC videos of shooters using those barrel/tube designed trigger releases and are having to reach out and use their fingertip to touch the trigger. $2500 worth of bows etc and then walking out of a bow shop with that. 😢😢😢

That's so great to hear. It's a winner!

Great release that UV. Hey, whatever works man! That's awesome. Glad you found more consistency. 👊🏼

I'm very happy with my Stan Extinction 2 never had a problem with it.

Hahaha! I hear ya on the finger tip deal. And getting that right length can take some time for sure.
drives me nuts watching guys hooking their thumb behind the neck and all four fingers sticking out.
You prefer an index to a thumb release while hunting?
Yes, I do. I might try the Ibex hinge release in the field this year though. Very impressed with that.
Yup i agree with the side of the hook
Gotta watch that sucker for sure
