Hello, can you please tell me what you did with the straps I've made two bags except I haven't been able to finish because I'm not sure what you're doing with the straps and what the Stitch count is in between the straps. You don't show much of that at all and don't give any instruction on it. Thank you
Very easy to follow, my bag turned out great! I used up some black acrylic yarn I had lying around and now instead of collecting dust, they serve a purpose 🥰

@@shadowofshad6476 I had three skeins of yarn left, each was 50g or 140m, but one I already started to use for a different project. I used up all three of them, you need quiet a bit of yarn for these bags, but I also shortened and thickened the straps, since the yarn was a little stretchy
Crikey, the base almost killed me, but i ended up with the correct amount of stitches and now im working my way up. Really loving it!

How much yarn does it need?
@@mariaalkandari583for me my yarns were pretty thin so I had to triple it so I needed about 3-4 balls so I think it all depends on the thickness of your yarn

For row one, if you put the double crochets into the back bump of the chain, it will be super apparent where to put your stitches when you start crocheting in the bottom of the stitches. And it makes for a very neat row. Also, for the first row of the strap after the chain 80, if you SC into the back bumps of the chain, it makes the edge so much neater, than the traditional way.
What do you mean by the back bumps?

This was my first ever crochet project and I was able to complete this bag in about 2.5 weeks. This is a super easy to follow video! Personally, I would’ve made the straps a lot longer, maybe 120 chains but that’s just my preference. I’ll be making another one!

Hi, I would love to crochet this bag. Normally I always crochet with acrylic yarn so I am a bit lost on the references for the cotton yarn. What does the 2,5mm mean? I often see the weight mentioned on cotton yarn but no mm
It means How thick the yarn is,
I just look up what yarn weight requires 3.5mm hook because yarn in mm is also new to me

you said a multiple of 3 but 44 chain stitch is not a multiple of 3,so what is the right multiple for the base chain?because i am using a thin yarn.
I tried making it and when i put regular things in the bag it stretched too much, is this normal? Will my bag get torn from tension?

I finished one for an order from my friend 😅
I made it by using 2 mm cord and 3 mm crochet hook, so the bottom of the bag became only 6 cm wide. Anyway, it's acceptable.
But if I want a wider bottom I'm not sure how to increase dc in the corner.

Please explain to me what you did with the straps? What does that mean 11 cm. I would really hate to have gotten all the way to the end and not understand what you're doing with the straps I'm still fairly new at crocheting and this is my first bag. Hi i’m confused on row 2/3. I’ve restarted the project a couple times and keep ending up with row 2 having 103 stitches and row 3 having 109 stitches. How are you getting 104 stitches for row 2 and 114 stitches for row 3?
