I love you so much for making your patterns free ;-; as a minor i cant buy patterns yet and i dont feel comfortable asking my parents for money. As soon as i'll have my own income i'll make sure to support pattern creators!
Im a beginner and I just finished the bag. I did a checkered pattern since I only had two colors. I would like to say your tutorials & patterns are detailed and clear so Thank You!! A couple weeks ago I finished the checkered sweater vest. Everything is so cute thank you again!!
I just finished this tote bag as my first crochet project! The video was very easy to understand, even for me, a total beginner. Thank you so much for sharing this pattern, I think my bag turned out very cute, I love it! :) hugs from Brazil
@@glitterjim hi! I used just one ball of each color, each ball being 226 meters (247 yards) of yarn, and there was still plenty left. Good luck with your project!
Hi! Do you mind if i ask you a question? Does the bag stretch a lot? Like can it actually hold a decent amount of items without stretching to the ground
This is my second project and it's going to be a gift for my mother, I cannot believe how easy this is!!!!! I was so scared because of the color change and it's so simple and smooth!!!! Thank you so much for sharing!!
Thank you so much for making this videos! I love your style to present the whole instruction. It's really inviting & feels like playing a cozy, relaxing game. I've never seen anything like it. Thank you so much for sharing this & giving it your own touch! I'd love to see more videos from you.
thank you for sharing this!! i’m new to crochet and this was the first thing i made and i can’t tell you how much it’s helped me in newer projects!! the way you did the yarn change is incredible!
I made this bag but I added two layers to the bag part and slip stitched together. Also added all three color I used on the handles making them double sided with slip stitch of my preferred 3rd color
thank you so much for this video and pattern!! thanks to you i was able to finish my first ever tote bag!!! also, it was really easy to understand and follow through!! thank you so much!!
psa to anyone watching, when you start switching colors make sure you keep the line of yarn you’re not using straight so the yarn goes into your double crochets … and not outside … or you’ll have to redo your entire round like I did … aha ha ….
thank you for sharing this pattern for free! i am an absolute beginner so the abbreviations didn't make much sense to me a first but i slowly began to understand at the project went on.
I saw this being made on "Cari Cakes" she made it look easy - I've crocheted for a long while just haven't gotten around to learn Gingham, yet... Now I know how, thanks for making it easy...
FINALLY AN EASY TUTORIAL istg the other tutorials are sooo hard to comprehend but this one is so easy to learn even though it was my first try it turned out good and the colors I chose don't look good together 😢 but ignoring the colors I'm proud of what I did because of your help ❤❤❤
I love the way you made this video, it's so easy to see and learn! If I wanted to make the bag wider, would it be right for me to continue repeating Round 2 until I have the width I prefer, before starting on the gingham pattern? :)
I love you videos omg I just discovered your channel from Pinterest and I have been wanting to crochet for the longest time and you are helping me make my goal come true also I love how aesthetic your videos are and for this you earned yourself a new subscriber you deserve it ❤
I just finished this tote bag, and i loved the result. Thank you so much for this tutorial, it was very easy to follow, you made it very clear. Thank you !!
I just started making it cuz it looks amazing but realized I don't have the right colors so I'm gonna have to restart after I get them :( but I'm very excited cuz its super cuteeee
Im sure if you were experienced it would go a bit faster, but it took me a weekend (two days with a bit of breaks) although if you were doing it for an hour or two on the weekdays I’d say it would take closer to 4-5 days?
Thank you so much for sharing this lovely pattern with us! May I ask what kind of yarn did you use for this one? Cotton or any kind of worsted weight yarn would work? Thanks
How do you sew the straps to the bag? Mine are really unstable and keep dissolving :( i really love the pattern so I‘d love to learn how to make it work
I really love how your bag turned out but can someone tell me please how much yarn do you need?Like in grams or if you used a 4.5 hook then how many spools of yarn have you used of each color please let me know,I'd be so thankful!!
hello, what an incredible video I loved it, thank you very much for sharing it. the only thing I couldn't do was sew the straps, but i think but i'll try to figure out how. Saludos desde Colombia
Okay first of all love the video, it was really helpful and it turned out great. And second of all what is the title of the music used in the background because it sounds soooooo familiar but I can’t remember where it’s from.

Hi! Do you mind if i ask you a question? Does the bag stretch a lot? Like can it actually hold a decent amount of items without stretching to the ground
@@Traelmix since yarn tends to stretch out over time, I suggest that you line the inside of the bag with fabric.

I love the way you made this video, it's so easy to see and learn! If I wanted to make the bag wider, would it be right for me to continue repeating Round 2 until I have the width I prefer, before starting on the gingham pattern? :)
Hi! I would actually (depending on how much wider you want it) increase your chain by multiples of 5’s!
@@hayhaycrochet i wanted to ask, how exactly you multiply by 5? Do you just add 5 more to the beginning chain?
@@starrybloo yes, she means add 5, 10, 15, 20,... more chains than the amount in the video.
in addition to these replies i would say do it by ten’s for a neater look that way you won’t start and end with the same color!
Oh my goodness! I love your video.🐱

Super helpful for me as a beginner! Quick question: what should I do with the strings on the inside of the bag? Weave them in? Tie them? Thanks! :)
I weaved mine in as i went!
If you crochet over them just like you do with the other color it weaves in as you go :)
Muy bonito, lo voy a realizar... 🤩
this is super cute !!
