I love the wings that rwtema added. I think they are pretty darn cool. Also, having the upgraded versions of the generator is a really neat mechanic. I think steve's factory manager alongside the solar generator could be pretty interesting. :D
I'm not sure about that, but I definitely believe it's /way/ too expensive. Also not just the -1 heart but like what 4 bedrockium ingots. I notice most of the things in this mod are kinda ridiculously expensive. Nobody should say that Extra Utilities items are too cheap or easy to get they're just not. It seems like just about everything in this mod you have to jump through hoops to get. I could maybe accept the -1 heart thing if it was temporary, maybe like a minecraft week or month or something but permanent? I'm not a fan of /any/ permanent cost for the rest of the game. Although if there's a quest to undo it and there was some other more useful purpose to the soul fragment besides a watering can then maybe. I /am/ glad to find out there's a creative item to undo it, when I can finally play again I think I'd maybe /try/ to get it the legit way but cheat in that creative item after a while or something. Not sure if I'd really need it that badly though, most farms run pretty fast as is with a few notable exceptions.
I don't think there's anything that can take that amount of RF/T not even the max size capacitor bank from ender io. The best bet is to go with 8x if you feel the need to burn netherstars that quickly
David Webster And? in a modpack you can easily and quickly farm wither heads and nether stars.... depending on the modpack you can actually instakill a witherboss so its stupid fast and easy. On a test world (no cheats) I now power my entire base with nether stars :) My favorite source of power second only to lava.
"Believe or not, getting 50.000 cobble and 9 diamonds is easier than getting 43.000.000 cobble..." ... ... ... oh really? I would have never imagined... xD
I think the REAL issue of Octuple Compressed Cobblestone isn't the sheer cost of it. Getting loads of cobble is a piece of cake. Crafting it all together in an appreciable timeframe is not so. :P
Shaw Fujikawa Believe or not, I think the quickest way to craft them is using the vanilla mechanic used in snow farms (fill your inventory, press 1 as fast as possible) It depends on how "good" you are at controlling the mouse and pressing the key at the right time, of course, but that method is STUPIDLY fast, when you get used to it. It puts the old AE crafting mechanic to shame. (Don't know about AE2, I havent used that much yet) Anyway... I don't usually use autominers or quarries, so getting that much cobble would be a titanic work for me, even with OP mining tools. So basically yes, they are a royal pain to craft, in every step of the operation. :p
I don't think that all the pipes from a generator to a transfer node need to be the extraction pipe, only the pipe connecting to generator needs to be one.
When everyone hears that Extra Utilities added a object that was perfectly round in minecraft most people will flip. I know its wrong yet it feels so right to have one of the rounded spheres just sitting on a pedestal.
Why is MJ being deprecated? Buildcraft isn't going anywhere any time soon, is it? Also, it was stupid of TE to add it's own power system. It was perfectly fine to use MJ like it did in the beginning.
Ah ok. I guess i'm just fanboy-ing for MJ because that's what I started out with. But at this point, power is power. And as long as buildcraft generators still produce their mj equivalent in rf, i'm happy.
I can just see it now Tema adds a "Addition Sigil" and it takes like 8 unstable ingots to add back the lost health (and that doesn't even include activating the sigil)
i know this is off topic but i thought direwolf20 said in his dire news that direwolf20 pack 1.7.10 would be out in about 2-3 weeks its been 3 weeks i wunder what mod is he waiting for
seems this is for v1.2 and the current version linked is 1.1.0k? There is different recipe for bedrockium in the current version... it uses an unstable ingot block in center, not diamond.
So, you can get 164,025 blocks of bedrockium for the same amount of cobblestone as as a single octuple compressed cobblestone, if you're willing to spend that many diamond blocks too?
you can restore soul fragments if they're yours back to health by holding them and right clicking. the only permanent down side to crafting them is damaging the sword...but that is the only way to damage the sword so go nuts
An x64 solar generator produces just about the same amount of power as an MV compact solar panel or a hybrid solar panel, but costs a HUGE sum more resources. With the diamonds you need to make an x64 solar generator, you can use to make 36 ultimate solar panels which will produce 737,280 RF/t when converted from EU. (Feel free to correct me on my math, its late and I'm not thinking well enough. Even if there's less generators than what I said, its still going to be a great deal more than x64 solar generator.) So, yeah, ExUtil's solars are very energy inefficient. If you wanna use their generators, I suggest sticking to survivalist, potion, culinary, pink, ender, and nether star generators. Lava, redstone, furnace (both types) generators are highly inefficient if you have Thermal Expansion.
Soo... Even at the reduced power output of 80,000 RF per coal (was 160,000) the survivalist generator is still almost 1.5 times more efficient then a full blown 36HP boiler already at max heat, connected to 18 steam dynamos... and if you have 5 of the 64x Survivalist generators (10 stacks of redstone dust, 5 stacks of iron, and a pile of cobble) and you have a combined output of 1600 RF/t compared to the 1440RF/t of the 18 Dynamos.... yes, it takes more resources then the boiler/dynamo set up, but not a crazy amount more, and that is balanced by the 5 blocks of space this takes up VS 57 blocks of the boiler/dynamo set up takes as a minimum...
It's balanced by costing either 50,000 cobblestone and a diamond block or 43 million cobblestone per 64x generator. That is a pile of cobble in the same way the Grand Canyon is a crack in the floor.
Long live the Minecraft Joul, Redstone Flux is taking over everything's why isn't MJ?The Minecraft Joul will be the main source of power for most mods just you wait Build Craft will never give in.
!WARNING! x64(8) generators eat fuel like 64(8) generators AT ONCE. If you throw 64 stars in the simple star gererator, it will eat 1 star and give you "power". If you throw 64 stars in the x64 star gererator, it will eat 64 stars AT ONCE and give you 64 * "power".

TE's piping system SHOULDN'T EXIST. It is too overpowered and unlessed they seriously fixed it, it's way too OP. I can transfer items with tin and lead? That it? Come on TE.
I don't like that you can move something just with a redstone signal. It should actually take energy. That is better in BuildCraft. Also objects that manage something should have any kind of electronic chip in it to make this happen. In BuildCraft you need at least laser technology to produce that "thinking" logical gates. These are the points where the "old" mods are better I think: Balancing cost and use. And logical mechanics that make sense.
I advocate the less pricey item-moving systems because… it’s moving items from one place to another. I have no idea why such a mundane process should be particularly expensive to construct or require anything more than a redstone signal to operate. Besides, you can craft raw diamonds into a pickaxe with your bare hands and a table, and only said pickaxe is able to mine obsidian (ignoring alternatives added by mods). Things like those have already shot realism out of the game. I won’t tell you that you’re wrong, but I find it stupid that you’re complaining about _Thermal Expansion/Dynamic_’s ducts being too cheap and claiming they’re unworthy of existence. (By the way, removing _Thermal Dynamics_ will eradicate every form of itemduct, fluiduct, and fluxduct without afflicting other _Thermal Expansion_ features.)
I love the wings that rwtema added. I think they are pretty darn cool. Also, having the upgraded versions of the generator is a really neat mechanic.
I think steve's factory manager alongside the solar generator could be pretty interesting. :D
I put my heart and soul into my garden literally
This needs more likes
"43 million might not sound like a lot"
To be quite honest, 43 million sounds like a lot
I think the coal block last 9 times. If you could see the number 4 maybe it started at 4.30s :-)
Hi xisuma
The reinforced watering can must be the single most expensive item ever, permanently costing a heart! :O
I'm not sure about that, but I definitely believe it's /way/ too expensive. Also not just the -1 heart but like what 4 bedrockium ingots. MindCaged
it's clear that's it is only temporarily permanent
Imad Nabil
"temporarily permanent"...
dat oxymoron
MindCaged yeah the things are expensive but the things also do cool things!
if they were too cheap it they were too op
But you can always just make heart canisters and then you still have crazy amounts of health.
I wanna see the 64x nether star generator, hoooly shiiiit.
nether star lasts like 3 seconds in it... O.o
also, wouldn't you need 5 stacks of netherstars to make it?
that can fill 2 resostant energy cells in less than a second
it makes 12800000rf/t
still not as much as reactorcraft's super-endgame.
Shaw Fujikawa Craft packagers.
***** Craft packagers.
Just do the cobble generator multiblock with 64world interaction upgrades,I have 32 of them and generate 1 in less than an hour xD
soul fragment is a very powerful item that is used for some complexed crafting aka a watering can
Circles in minecraft? 0.o I'm done, I'm leaving. I'm just gonna walk away now.
ILLUMINATI CONFIRMED!
(except its not a triangle)
GeneralMinecrafter
Can't be the illuminati. I've never seen Direwolf in a dress, unless I missed something.
I don't think that all the pipes from a generator to a transfer node need to be the extraction pipe, only the pipe connecting to generator needs to be one.
Your soul is mine, I'll craft watering cans!
Interesting to find out the reverse ritual.
Gardening must be Shang tsung's hobby
KrafterkidB11 i wonder what else he does with the rest of the souls...
Retain his youth I think. But that's not as interesting as watering cans.
Mmm... Can there be an alt recipe involving Tinker's heat canisters?
Also: Spotlight Request
Gregtech 5
he doesn't do gregtech
9x9 lily pads of fertility, above that a 9x9 patch of magical crops... Reinforced watering can in a autonomous activator... Insta-grow ._.
add in the botania flower and blood magic ritual to speed up the growth :3 could be like instant enderlilies
stoorm333 or instant diamonds
So many op mods
turolretar not op mods op mod interaction :P
That heating coil is one of the neatest ideas I've seen in a long time.
Buildcraft will stay, MJ however will not. The newest BC beta versions have adopted RF.
Are you a modder? The two power systems are very different behind the scenes and RF is much easier to implement and give the modder more freedom.
Ah ok. I guess i'm just fanboy-ing for MJ because that's what I started out with. But at this point, power is power. And as long as buildcraft generators still produce their mj equivalent in rf, i'm happy.
Thanks for this amazing showcase!
I would like to know how to get the Psuedo-Invertion sigil.. I know you have to do some sort of ritual, but i dont know how..
And the super builders wand..
***** Its the Super Builders Wand now
3ternlpa1n Thanks for that man! :)
Tutorial: Imgur(dot)com/a/px0fq
I wanna say that you need like every single music disk or something ridiculous like that. So have fun getting thatXD
So, is there any video of the new ritual dealing with the records someone was talking about. The Pseudo Division sigil?
I can just see it now Tema adds a "Addition Sigil" and it takes like 8 unstable ingots to add back the lost health (and that doesn't even include activating the sigil)
Dear god, spheres.
please do a spotlight about the elctrical age mod!
thanks for all your work on these, I subbed.
That's honestly one of the most expensive items in a minecraft mod, only 1/10th of your soul FOR A WATERING CAN!
+IUndercoverTroll -Where we troll as one They'll add a lot more uses for it. The creator will make it worth it, eventually.
GeneralPickleton I'm just saying, couldn't he make it like multiple-use or something
Sorry about that, autism kicked in. I actually wasn't complaining I was making a joke.
What happens if you get the soul shard from a Sync clone?
Technically, You would keep your health on the other clones. But the one you used the soul on. but Tema might've changed it
and that's why mod interaction is what makes mod packs OP :P
THE WATERING CAN IS A HORECRUX
A 1/10 of your soul for a suped up watering can. Seems legit.
I'd do that for a watering can. So much easier than going to Home Depot
an *automated* watering can :P
minecraftaddictXD It's quite strange thinking that part of a soul is applied into a watering can...
Please do a spotlight on IC2. It has a lot of new stuff and i don't know how to use them.
Nice vid. Can you do also a updated mod spotlight on ars magica 2? A lot is changed.
for the record...Angel wings can be placed in ring slot of baubles aswell...:)
No info on how to create pseundo sigil? The ritual is complicated
Will then tc heart canisters cancel the health loss by the soul fragment?
just 64 cobble generators with transfer nodes and world interaction upgrade(and some speed upgrades))) and you have many bedrockium)
You forgot the compression part..
Adam Levav XU solves that :P
Dire, deprecated != depreciated
i know this is off topic but i thought direwolf20 said in his dire news that direwolf20 pack 1.7.10 would be out in about 2-3 weeks its been 3 weeks i wunder what mod is he waiting for
one mod hasn't gone public yet
I want to see a 9x9 built entirely out of impossible objects.
seems this is for v1.2 and the current version linked is 1.1.0k? There is different recipe for bedrockium in the current version... it uses an unstable ingot block in center, not diamond.
The only thing I think he said he would mention that he didn't was the division sigil that makes unstable ingots...the pseudo-inversion one.
That's because RWTema implemented that as a secret ritual
please add annotations for previous video
What about the different kind of sigil it's possible to get in survival!
So, you can get 164,025 blocks of bedrockium for the same amount of cobblestone as as a single octuple compressed cobblestone, if you're willing to spend that many diamond blocks too?
something like that. but that would be 164,025 blocks of diamond...
masterzedd4 That's what I said, isn't it?
probably :D. I was just making sure.
didnt mention the angel wings or pseudo inversion sigil!
he did mention wings
you can restore soul fragments if they're yours back to health by holding them and right clicking. the only permanent down side to crafting them is damaging the sword...but that is the only way to damage the sword so go nuts
Awww, I was hoping the impossible object would have some non-cosmetic use...Oh well, more ideas for add-on mods! :P
Whats the mod for the aether manipulator
I blame Tema! XD
The Impossible shape Lapis Caelestis look cute. ^_^
So you sacrifice 10 percent of your LIFE, which is 10 WHOLE YEARS, assuming you live for 100 years...
just to get a better watering can?
You forgot the psedo ritual
What if you use sync? can you avoid the loss of a heart through switching to another clone?
as of this point, yes.
Tell Tema to make the impossible object a multipart structure that forms into a bigger impossible object
8:45 #remembertheqwonsequences
wonder how strong a 64x nether star generator would be
2.560.000 rf per tick for 1.8 secs
That's one hell of a watering can
Can't you get a clone and then get 10 soul fragments, then another one?
you can only get 7 from one body
But can you get them from your clones? And it won't affect your health?
turolretar it *shouldn't* unless tema specifically coded to avoid that interaction
I just cannot test it right now.
turolretar I just got an idea for my HQM map >:)
Lapis Caelestis is Latin and means 'Heavenly Stone'. It is pronounced somewhat like Lah-pis Che-l-sti-s.
*Funfact* I helped RWTema with some of the Latin translations. :3
Is it weird that on dw20 pack 1.7.10 is 20 fps higher than the 1.6.4 pack, also I am running higher settings.
An x64 solar generator produces just about the same amount of power as an MV compact solar panel or a hybrid solar panel, but costs a HUGE sum more resources. I have automated cobble compressing using BC advanced crafting tables.
Power? Windmills
This was just a test though
impossible objects, how do they work?
They don't. They're impossible!
For the hearts that you loose you should be able to make something like plastic hearts that have duribility :D
+TheCreeperScoutMC Would that involve plastic surgery?
ArcT1cWarR10r Side Effects may include:
-Heart pain
-Trouble breathing
-Death
-More Death
Did he just say ROUND!?
was i the only one who saw the gold block impossible object in the last multiplayer series and thought "WTF apple of eden?????"
What about the pseudo inversion sigil?
It's a secret... SHHHHHHHHH
Can you pls make a uptated mod spolight in ars magica 2

No, dire! You forgot the Psudo-Inversion sigil! I want to know how to make it!!
He cant,If he did rwtema would request him to remove it as its a secret
Noreen Ali Then why has he not asked people to remove it from the forums?
I'm also experiencing the "Invisible Lapis Caetalias Multipart" bug.
Also, I know I spelt that wrong.
Tema should add a recipe to get the health one back by using a soul fragment and 8 bedrockium BLOCKS
I think restoring the health would be fine with an item crafted of 8 bedrockium blocks and an enchanted golden apple :D
What if u can plant an enchanted golden apple and it can only grow with the watering can?
show the 64x nether star generator :D
Long live the Minecraft Joul, Redstone Flux is taking over everything's why isn't MJ?The Minecraft Joul will be the main source of power for most mods just you wait Build Craft will never give in.
ok i only need to build 100000 cobbel gen and i have enough cobble for bedrockium
!WARNING!
x64(8) generators eat fuel like 64(8) generators AT ONCE.
If you throw 64 stars in the simple star gererator, it will eat 1 star and give you "power".
If you throw 64 stars in the x64 star gererator, it will eat 64 stars AT ONCE and give you 64 * "power".
honestly a my coubleplant makes 9 octuple compressed cobble in an hour so... :P

Sabin Darkstone Oh no. No no. I use the expensive Extra Utilities pipes.
