Hello Putting this here as Company Tycoon is now able to be played again thanks to my friend Tkdriverx who restored it to a working order. Though there are some bugs it works really well and is worth checking out. The Link: www.roblox.com/games/16943985680/Company-Tycoon-Classic-ALPHA
Wow, I'm legitimately starting to cry about this news. I was just writing a comment about how I'm really sad it's broken now. I loved this game so much for some reason... I think finally playing it again has healed a little bit of me...
there's an old tycoon mining game called Realistic Mining by buckyouup, which had a lot of interesting things going for it. instead of having multiple plots, there was one plot everyone contributed to. like other mining tycoons, you had to go out and mine valuable ore and send it back to be refined and sold. you had manual control over processing and selling ore, so it was beneficial to have someone stay back and do the processing until you could afford to do it automatically. looking back, it was pretty bare-bones but had a lot of potential for what a tycoon game could be. that game is probably what made me enjoy modded Minecraft and Factorio
Wow that is honestly a pretty cool concept for a tycoon where everyone contributes to one plot and functioning a bit like mining tycoon by defaultio as well. Sounded like a fun tycoon I'll have to see if it still works in modern Roblox
Classic tycoons had such a huge grasp on me as a kid. I would spend hours in them. It was super fun just seeing your tycoon get larger and larger while you chatted the day away with strangers
Great video, though I feel like Retail Tycoon should be on here because dear lord back in the 2016-2019 era it was such a fun game. Even now years later it's still enjoyable.
Thank you and I can agree with that but I wanted to strike a nice balance between the 2 main styles of tycoons that being sandbox and buttons with extras added on. I will admit I have sank hours into those games and even got the beta award stuff for both of them.
A friend sent me this video and I realized that two of the first few games mentioned were my restored versions. I absolutely love that! Thank you for shouting out the classic era of games, and being able to be included in the video is awesome. I wanted to mention that I have also restored Shaakra's Zombie Defense. (An older version than the one still on Shaakra's profile) If you do any other "history of [genre] games on roblox" videos, be sure to check out other games I may have that fit your chosen genre!
Much love they were really well done with the classic movement and visual look of old Roblox. I appreciate the work you put into keeping the classic games faithful to the period they released. Thank you btw I have a lot more videos planned in this style so I'm thankful to have your blessing to use your work in future videos. Thank you for appreciating and keep saving classic tycoons from their fate of being broken and locked.
Fr I have the vip t shirts for it as well I recall there was a marble game as well from many years ago like heavily using green but I cant recall who made so I'll have to find that again for sure.
yeah also i remember playing a cart ride tycoon game like the movie theater one except that it's space-themed, i remember the purple and the green dragon in that game
Modern tycoon kits that are just pasted onto a brightly colored map, and then peppered with robux buttons, are really burying innovative playing or looking tycoons down.
Bread Factory Tycoon went SO HARD back in the day!! I remember spending hours upgrading the shack as the repairman one late summer night. Miss those days :')
my favorite Tycoon of all is, or was, deep space tycoon. The droppers and the way to gain money were quite generic, but the sheer visuals of that tycoon completely made up for it, it had over 10 maps for each palyer and there were gamepasses that added 3 more maps that were optional. There was the rebirth hub that gave a new map each rebirth and there would be a big massive thing at rebirth 9 or 10 Sadly the game was abandoned forever and the creator deleted their group and account But damn it was good. I remember that every weekend I entered the roblox just to see if the game had updated
I remember that tycoon it was by a guy who was a youtuber who played a lot of tycoons as well. It had so much content and a lot of areas to explore which made it very fun
I still have so many tycoon VIP shirts from 2011-2013 lol I honestly prefer the old style linear tycoons where you just buy to progress and don't have to put much more effort in than just collecting money but it might just be that I miss the simpler times
So much nostalgia when you mentioned zombie survival tycoon. I used to call my friend through my landline phone back in the day, and play with him for hours. I’ve been trying to find that game for a while now. So glad you mentioned it!
Lumber Inc. was probably my favourite tycoon ever made. It was so special because of the fact that everyone had to work together to maximise their profits. Such as truck drivers needing log lifters to put the logs in their trailer
Holy crap I've been searching for the Bread Factory Tycoon game for a good while now. I suddenly remembered it a few weeks ago, and for some reason remembered it as a doughnut factory. Thank you so much for finding it
I remember back in the day my first one was “Moon Tycoon” by Lethal682. Thought it was great fun till I checked out other tycoons and realized that they were all the exact same gameplay, just a different map/skin. It was quite the letdown. Repetitive. I must’ve just gotten the lazy ones, cuz the ones in this video actually looked unique. Didn’t even realize the ones I had played from here were tycoons. A few years later, simulators would blow up. Exact same reaction, except I never even like in the first place. The only actual gameplay was “click the screen to get cash so you can click screen and get more cash”. Very repetitive and got old quick. Always wondered how anyone found them fun, it’s literally just spamming your mouse button!? I’ve always thought of simulators as “Tycoons: Part 2”. Anywoo, great video! I’m sure there were great tycoons, after all I had only played a handful. Never got around to playing Lumberjack tycoon, seeing how much people like them it must have been actual fun. :D
Honestly when Moon Tycoon released I wasn't a big fan I found it to be quite slow but the fighter jets were a fun part of the game for sure. I also plan on looking over simulators as well similar to this video but again I do find most to be lacklustre but there are some gems that would take some time to find. Thank you for enjoying the video and if you want to try the tycoons I linked a Pastebin with links to all the tycoons played + some extras.
bro when i saw zombie desert defence tycoon the memories of me just playing that game every day just started coming back i rember just grinding to just get all the weapons and just kept walking into the vip wall trying to get in
With you on that I remember most games trying to glitch into the vip room then failing. I don't think I got all the weapons in the game but I sure recall finishing it
I think that ”Lazer tycoon” and ”2 player gun tycoon” had the most impact on me as a kid, it was right there that roblox peaked! (the clone tycoons & Miners haven where incredible too)
@@Founder- Awesome video by the way! You can really feel the dedication that went into making it and the way you engage with the viewers really makes one feel that you care about what you do, you just earned yourself a sub 💜 (And that comes fron someone who does not consume roblox content at all)
Theres one unknown tycoon called "Noobs vs zombies tycoon 2" and holy thats like most unique tycoon i ever seen, its not an average one where everyone got their own tycoon, its a round based pvp (and npc) war game where 2 teams noobs and zombies got their leader who builds the base. Regular players will buy weapons from shop that leader build. The main building is townhall and you gotta destroy the enemy one to win. And theres like tons of npcs vechicles, planes, minibosses and bosses themself.Bosses are reffered as heroes on your team.Theres also humans who are neutral to both teams. Last time game was updated was in 2021,but its not discountinued the creator is just doing an HUGE update.
This 100% I remember a lot of old rpgs I used to play with bosses but can never figure out what they were called I managed to find one I played a lot through t shirt sales but the rest still allude me. wish there was a way to track games you played years ago so its easier to find that one game you cant seem to recall
@@TheBananermanThefirst Ik I'm months late buttt .. it's not gone! There is a paid version which was the original that had like a whole mega update and coated robux to play (nothing sadder than trying to figure out why I can't play it on Xbox any more...) and there is a free version, plus a sequel coming out.... We getting TFT2 before GTA6????
19:55 I was quite surprised to see Clone Tycoon 2 mentioned. My roblox avatar is actually one of the girl morphs in the game. I truly had no idea until a girl joined my roblox group to comment that she always used my character morph in game. It was really sweet. I don't even know the creator of the game. I have no clue how or why my avatar is in the game
One of my favorite tycoons that follows the basic modern Tycoon layout is Elemental Powers Tycoon by Giggle Inc. I gotta say, while it is very simple, I've liked most of the abilities I've played with and gaining special abilities every few rebirths also helps for replayability. Eventually, I want to make a Roblox Crossover fighting game and I gotta say, I'll be looking into that game for some inspiration on atleast one of the fighters
Ive seen that tycoon in the Hunt and played it a bit before. I do find it to be quite good and fairly simple with modern day buyable buttons scattered in your tycoon to get you to buy them. But the combat and the attack patterns for each element are pretty cool
My favourite tycoon as of late has been retail tycoon 2. I finished the first one long ago, and I liked it because there was a good amount of customisation and the money came in easy. RT2 is a step above in just about every way, and it's a ton of fun. Bigger plots, more items to sell, a logistics aspect added, and the structures you can build is leagues ahead of almost everything else I've played, not to mention the UI is near perfect
the second game just straight up improved on everything the first game did and made it better and bigger in scale which I really like and think that both games are really fun to play with the second one being a real good tycoon game that can rival some actual paid tycoon games on Steam
To add to this I will get this a lot which is fine I think retail tycoon series is a great game and pays homage to Deud1's game. I didn't include as I wanted to strike a balance between sandbox and regular button based games so it doesn't feel weighted to a single style of tycoons.
Watching through this video, makes me so nostalgic for these old tycoons. I’m a 2012 roblox player and seeing these old games I’ve forgotten to then seen gameplay of again is so interesting and heartwarming of how different old and new roblox is.
Joined the same year as me I still have a soft spot for old tycoons tho I do think now they are a bit slow well some of them are but thats fine i find them still quite fun to play sometimes
I remember this old tycoon, it was in the era of 2013-2015. It was one of the old type of grey box droppers, you had to build a base with an electric fence and canons(really bad canons). I wish i could find it and play it again.
@@wavetoearf sadly no, I think the game got removed or updated, I guess it’s lost to time. Like I said, I can still make a replica of the tycoon a little bit.
Yep a lot of these tycoons I have played before many years ago I wish I could find a faithful recreation of the teapot tycoon game. the one used in the video is faithful just some parts don't quite function just yet.
Hey man I have an interesting idea for you! The Lost Tycoon: Growing up I used to always find this reused “sword” tycoon that was super basic. It was massively reused, and was always disguised as other tycoons. However the most frequent was, “Slide Tycoon”. Fast forward to today, I search and I cannot find this tycoon, and the copies were taken down CONSTANTLY. Here’s kind of how it looked: one major line that branched off onto other swords, you can buy walls/roof/ and door of course. Additionally, two things that stand out were the basic brown rooms you can buy that contain swords (and potions I think/ flames you can wear). Lastly, the biggest thing that always attracted me to this tycoon was the seemingly impossible last item to get: “the epic duck statue” If you could fine ANY thing remotely similar I’d be impressed! Game was huge 2011-2013!
Hello I have been having a look so far I haven't found anything but I remember this tycoon. www.roblox.com/games/97235934/Ice-Tycoon - its not similar but it was definitely popular around that time as well. It could also have been this www.roblox.com/games/33399226/Content-Deleted thought im not too sure.
@@Founder- HOLY! The layout is the exact same, only real difference is all the colors and items are different! The map was different as well but just roaming around the original layout was a trip! Thanks man!
Glad you liked the video and thanks for tutorials n such as I always made bad setups so having a tutorial really helped as well as the wiki every 2 seconds to search an item
I played miners haven for some time back in like 2018-19, and I definitely want to play it again. Being able to choose the type of dropper and where the conveyer belt will be and etc was something I didn’t think would ever happen
The first tycoon game I remember was called Farming Tycoon, back in 2007/2008-ish. You manually planted, watered, and sold crops, and paid for upgrades that would do that automatically. Different crops earned different amounts of money. There were also chickens and cows, and I think a house too. It's been years lol. There was also a woodcutting mechanic to earn extra money, and a giant tree with a short obby to the top to get a cash reward. It was the best one imo for a LONG time
That was by the same creator as Bread Factory tycoon its called Farm Tycoon and yeah it features everything you said. I can recommend this game: www.roblox.com/games/3750491919/Farm-Tycoon-Classic It is a faithful recreation of the classic game and works as intended. It's really fun game to play and shows uberubert was ahead of their time
My personal favorite is "Car Making Tycoon", but i do remember playing Bread Factory Tycoon. I would spend hours and hours, and even play the tycoon over and over again. Good old days...
Shaakra's Zombie Defense was amazing! Spent hours maxing out my base just to lose it all after leaving because Roblox didn't even have the data persistence APIs available back then. I remember there being spin offs of that game too, not sure if they were by the same user or not, based on the theme of surviving waves of aliens, noobs, etc.
Same I think the game is awesome and I spent ages on it building up my base and killing zombies and not honestly too sure about the other ones as i can only remember the ones in the video
I wish I could still play games like theme park tycoon 2, restaurant tycoon 2 and lumber tycoon 2 but my device and internet are so bad that they kick me after playing for 5 seconds😭
Man I loved the Mall Tycoon. Played it ao many times, just wanting to see what all of the shops looked like and get all the badges for each one. I still visit it from time to time, even if it's abandoned and broken. Just takes me back for a bit
I used to LOVE Moon Tycoon back in the day. My game was originally a reboot of it as it was no longer being developed. That labor of love has turned today in Alien War Tycoon. If you look around, you can still see strong remnants of Moon Tycoon in the game.
Your Store Tycoon will never fail to amaze me. Its Retail Tycoon. But in 2008. It existed in a rime between the removal of DHTML and the addition of GUI elements, so it all had to be does through THE CURSOR TEXTURE. Dued1 had to find a way to calculate the location of the ,mouse on the screen, made what I can only assume was at least a HUNDRED customer graphics, only for someone to mimic a FRACTION of his power 7 years later! Really makes me inspired. My only complaint is that the modern work at a pizza place house creation scripting is worse bite me.
08 was a different time of people coding to try and dodge roblox limitations and now since there is no limitations its easier on people just to make it work
My account was made in August of 2008 (I am as old as dirt). I hadn't thought about some of these games in so long. They were in the deepest crevices of my mind like a fever dream.
@@Founder- thats probally deep space tycoon. Ive finished the entire game (except for the robux portals) and ive finished ore tycoon 2 (back to ore 1). I feel like ive acomplished a moment of peace after that.
i remember when i played my first tycoon on Roblox, Star Wars Battlefront Tycoon, still is one of my favorites. Since then my love for tycoons has never stopped and i still have many favorites to this day
I used to play roblox quite a bit, but recently ive found its pretty hard to find ACTUAL GAMES. Its mostly games where you do the same monotonous thing over and over again, and are really just trying to get kids to buy lootboxes or admins. Or their tycoon waiting games. Its really kind sad Ive also never been into pvp, so idk about those. Thought i do see some pretty amazingly built RP games, but i don’t think i was born with the ability to rp so those are really just walking simulators. I probably have 200+ hours just on work at a pizza place from when i was a kid. Also the dress up game just before fashion famous, i don’t remember the name. I also had the coolest park in theme park tycoon 2. And my true first pokemon game wasn’t ultra moon, it was actually BRICK BRONZE. YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MANY HOURS I POURED INTO THAT JUST TO HAVE IT BE REMOVED. Also if these are “newer” games to you, i was born in 2007 and i think i started playing roblox just before tix died
Oh no these games are not newer i joined Roblox before tix removal so I was around for these games and had invested a lot of time into some like work at a pizza place with the whole parties n such
Man, I remember there being this one tycoon game called Civilization 2 where everybody in a server was contributing to the tycoon and there were skills you could level up that persisted between servers. Instead of money you had to go out and gather materials which would then be used to buy buildings or tools or so on. I remember getting my mining to 150 and then just farming gems in the deepest parts of the cave socpeople could get enchants for their tools.
Someone said a similar thing and I thought that was a really interesting concept at play and im surprised i havent actually come across it when I was playing tycoons all the time years ago
Oh my god, the nostalgia. Two player company tycoon held the title of being my most favorite game for so long until it began to lose players. If anyone ever wanted to play that game with me again, I would be so happy. Old roblox games in my opinion are the absolute best for me, primarily because of the nostalgic feelings I get when I look at the simplistic and stud-covered designs of it all
I would honestly go back n play some old tycoons I know ill be playing Hotel tycoon again at some point as that game holds a special place in me as I spent so long on that game
I've been playing Tycoon games since 2016 and I have these messages to some of those games I've played: Mining Tycoon/Revival: Very quick and fun game, especially with the Revival's Rebirth system. Very good Moon Tycoon: Still has the mining nonsense that doesn't work, but it's probably a leftover from the Star Wars collab event. Also, some weapons do not work properly, especially when trying to play on mobile. It's hilarious the credits in the game saves along with the weapons you bought in it. Me big sad cuz I can't use Hex Spitter when playing on mobile. LT2: One massive experience. I did managed to collected all legally collectible axes in the game, and having a nice progress. Speaking of progress, the game's progression is TOO SLOW, like I mean it. Items in this game are expensive and requires alot of brainpower. But even with so much time wasted and tips and tricks followed, you're barely able to afford. That's where the game's issue of rampant hacking existed for, to counter the game's extremely sluggish playthrough. And yes, Byfron getting more improved and human moderation to that game finally happened but there's still no balancing and player-friendly improvements, hence newcomers are in total confusion and long term players has a chance to leave. P.S. to this, my phone lagged alot when loading my plot in LT2 to the point it hangs and crashes. Data size is 3 so maybe. Oh yeah, that's right, the physics makes the game alone unplayable from TOO MUCH LAG Ultraw Tycoon games: One word: G O A T my man Ultraw knows how to make Tycoon games that are good and nice way to waste time. From Clone Tycoon 1 and 2, Pizza Factory Tycoon, Gym Tycoon, you named it
A lot of good moments had on those games. With LB2 I have I think a full collection of axes and a lot of past presents still sealed on my plot and some extras
Been playing Roblox since 2012 when I was 11-12 y/o. I'm amazed by how tycoons have changed over time. If I told to younger self how tycoons would've looked like in future, i wouldn't comprehend that information. Roblox really changed after Jailbreak dropped. I guess that game made people realize that they can push their games even further and better. Also that car dealership game seem to be recreation of an older game I was fan of back in 2013/2014 which was very similar excluding car selling through delivery. It was just about driving to earn money and buy better cars and racing. I suppose the reason for kits to not work is because Roblox at some point switched from games being coded with Lua C to Lua. I'm happy someone (you) finally made video on this topic.
Totally tycoons from the start to now have gone through multiple changes with some optimizing to get the most engagement and money out of it but some are just done out of pure love. I didnt know that car dealership game could've been a recreation of another but I dont have any memory of it as well. And yeah they switched up the code which did break a lot of stuff but its still cool see old games still function really well all be it with some bugs but its still better than nothing.
I remember I played 24/7 a tycoon named "two player heist tycoon" by lethal682 (same creator as moon tycoon) and I loved it for some reason, the gears you could buy with the game's currency and the mechanic where each team had a bag that you could steal to gain "credits" Yesterday I searched for the game and I was sad to see that it was dead, 0 players, although I felt very nostalgic when I joined the game and saw the map. I just wish some games never died
I still learn about the roblox history and i love it. I joined roblox on may 5th 2018, eventually met some people that referred me as "the Minecrafter" since that's what i played before i knew about Roblox. Although i no longer have contact with those players. I am pretty happy that i found Roblox and kept playing of because that's how i met my best friend, and as the lonely guy i was at the time if made my life way better, and we're still best friends. Therefore Roblox history / the history of roblox game genres has become way more interesting to me since the game made my life better.
Glad you made good connections through the platform and hope you keep making more of them. I also enjoy making history videos as I've been on the platform since 2012 and have actually played most of the games I do talk about as it comes from memory but some are from searching and looking around which is what I had to do for this new entire history video I'm working on
I still remember my very first roblox game back when I started in 2013 and it was a fireworks factory tycoon. Also those old vip areas there was a lot of those back in the day I remember always trying to glitch into them xD
Does anyone remember a 4 teams 2 player tycoon that used to have a fire circle (like the one you find in SFOTH games) in the middle of the map? Also it had droppers that used to drop items like swords or cakes to increase your in-game cash, if you touch the tip of the dropper part that was dropping the items, the body part that touched it turned into the item that was being dropped. I remember playing this on 2013-2015(maybe) on my sister's laptop, this game is so nostalgic for me, I've always searched for it but never had good results.
Honestly i may vaguely remember something like that but at the same time not so much as a lot of games had droppers back then that changed your outfit like one that was related to cakes but I don't think it was 2 player rather 1 player.
Teapot Tycoon was like, one of my FAVORITE games as a little kid ;w; i'd play it over and over just watching the teapots grow it was really fun when someone got the super giant one from the end game and everyone online would run over and hop onto it as it grew so we could stand ontop of the fully grown teapot
God, I remember playing those 2 player tycoon games, both of the clone tycoons, Miners Haven, Theme Park Tycoon 2, Zombie Desert tycoon... God, there were just so many that i've played.
I played Miner's Haven for a long, long time, before drama happened with the lead dev bringing in a known exploit programmer, which caused the rest of the team to lose faith in the project. I called it "baby's first Factorio", because a lot of how you optimize your resources and space is a trait that's shared between Miner's Haven and Factorio. Nowadays, people have crazy physics-based speedrun setups where you fling ore across platforms for maximum value over time. It's not beyond me, but it's definitely not what I signed up for. There are clones out there that still have players, but generally, I'd say the Miner's Haven clone isn't very popular nowadays, and newer players are more attracted to fighting and social interaction games over strategy/tycoon games. This lack of demand is likely the reason for the genre's decline, which leads to games becoming worse to try and capture the lost market, which makes the decline worse, etc
I can totally agree with this which is sad as my favourite part of the tycoon genre is the sandbox aspect where you have to figure out how to fit stuff into your plot and with each update miners haven got adding more and more crazier stuff I can even compete with the creations some people are doing in that game
My favorite to this day is Lumber Tycoon 2. I have yet to see anyone who can replicate that balance of exploration and tycoon so well. There was a clone of LT2 that had a lot going for it but they got taken down because they plagiarized code from LT2.
Refinery Caves is a very similar style to lumber tycoon 2, but it focuses on mining rocks and ores and stuff. Personally i prefer it to lumber tycoon because it has many more features like packaging ores, sifting sand, security boxes, and many more vehicle types too. sadly its not getting any more updates but the devs are working on a sequel which looks good so far

It is still one of the best tycoons other than oaklands which is that game but better
Modern tycoon kits that are just pasted onto a brightly colored map, and then peppered with robux buttons, are really burying innovative playing or looking tycoons down.

the new ones are usually just scammy cashgrabs made to make the most robux possible ig
most tycoons nowadays are just a copy of the same template with random free models
because the new ones are cash grabs
Good ones are lumber tycoon 2, oaklands, and miners haven
Bread Factory Tycoon went SO HARD back in the day!! I remember spending hours upgrading the shack as the repairman one late summer night. Miss those days :')
For a classic game it was really good and well thought out which is hard to say about some games these days
I remember as a kid, mansion tycoon was the coolest thing ever! It felt like whoever actually completed the tycoon was a god 😂😭
Most tycoons did with the whole path walker stuff and weapons
FR
Out of the 5 years I played roblox through 2015 - 2020 Miners haven and lumber tycoon 2 will always have a special nostalgic place in my heart.
Very true I have spent so much time on those games
my favorite Tycoon of all is, or was, deep space tycoon. The droppers and the way to gain money were quite generic, but the sheer visuals of that tycoon completely made up for it, it had over 10 maps for each palyer and there were gamepasses that added 3 more maps that were optional. There was the rebirth hub that gave a new map each rebirth and there would be a big massive thing at rebirth 9 or 10
Sadly the game was abandoned forever and the creator deleted their group and account
But damn it was good. I remember that every weekend I entered the roblox just to see if the game had updated
I remember that tycoon it was by a guy who was a youtuber who played a lot of tycoons as well. It had so much content and a lot of areas to explore which made it very fun
I loved that one and actively followed its' development, until one day it was just abandoned without a word said.
It definitely was one of my favourites. Sad to see it gone.
I remember playing it nostalgia
@@Founder- yeah sadly its removed from roblox it was the biggest limited tycoon ever created
Clone tycoon not being on here despite its massive popularity during 2015 -2018 is crazy
I did briefly mention it with the other tycoons ultraW made
19:42 mentioned here
@@kyro0996 what about my goat two player gun tycoon
@@Dr_Kaido never played it

I like it but I think you missed clone factory tycoon which was imo a very nostalgic game but overall nice vid
In the section of Restaurant Tycoon 2 I did touch up on it with a brief mentioning of the series but I do think it is a great tycoon
I think you missed treelands its still a tycoon game, unique and was kinda pupular at its time
That and the clone factory were fire
I still have so many tycoon VIP shirts from 2011-2013 lol
I honestly prefer the old style linear tycoons where you just buy to progress and don't have to put much more effort in than just collecting money but it might just be that I miss the simpler times
I have a ton of vip shirts as well from many different tycoons and vip passes as well
I miss those shirts and passes that could be bought without real money 😢
OG Fruit Juice Tycoon was the best and my favorite back in the day.
Damn think I have played that before it is a pretty fun tycoon to play on an afternoon
So much nostalgia when you mentioned zombie survival tycoon. I used to call my friend through my landline phone back in the day, and play with him for hours. I’ve been trying to find that game for a while now. So glad you mentioned it!
It was a really fun game to play ages ago killing zombies for cash to build up your defences
Lumber Inc. was probably my favourite tycoon ever made. It was so special because of the fact that everyone had to work together to maximise their profits. Such as truck drivers needing log lifters to put the logs in their trailer
Interesting its like 1 group game instead of everyone having their own separate plot to do their own thing very cool
Holy crap I've been searching for the Bread Factory Tycoon game for a good while now. I suddenly remembered it a few weeks ago, and for some reason remembered it as a doughnut factory. Thank you so much for finding it
No problem glad I could help
Yo, I remember theme park tycoon 2 😊. It was cool.
Honestly when Moon Tycoon released I wasn't a big fan I found it to be quite slow but the fighter jets were a fun part of the game for sure. I also plan on looking over simulators as well similar to this video but again I do find most to be lacklustre but there are some gems that would take some time to find. Thank you for enjoying the video and if you want to try the tycoons I linked a Pastebin with links to all the tycoons played + some extras.
and with Grass Cutting Incremental, incremental games on roblox started showing up as well
but i don't think they're as well known as the former 2
No way, you played a game made by SCP 682!??1!
bro when i saw zombie desert defence tycoon the memories of me just playing that game every day just started coming back i rember just grinding to just get all the weapons and just kept walking into the vip wall trying to get in
With you on that I remember most games trying to glitch into the vip room then failing. I don't think I got all the weapons in the game but I sure recall finishing it
The upgraded shotgun was the best weapon for me cuz automatic weapons didn't work on mobile
I remember back in my early days, 2 Player War Cake Factory Tycoon grabbed me by the throat with how much I played it. Was such a good game
for me that was Miners Haven when it launched in 2014 it was crazy
2 player gun factory tycoon will always hold a special spot in my heart
Loved playing that ages ago and hitting max cash due to having a ton of blocks made it really fun
I think that ”Lazer tycoon” and ”2 player gun tycoon” had the most impact on me as a kid, it was right there that roblox peaked! (the clone tycoons & Miners haven where incredible too)
Laser Tycoon was a classic I used to play that a lot as i just thought it was so cool and interesting in how it worked
Wait that sounds really cool I gotta check that out and interesting as well, as it changes how tycoons are normally played
This video was really a trip down memory lane, thank you for making this video. So many of the early 2008-2009 were games i would play all the time.
Same there were so many fun tycoons that were made in that period
i still remember some rather old tycoons that i cant seem to find anymore, yet remember the visuals of
This 100% I remember a lot of old rpgs I used to play with bosses but can never figure out what they were called I managed to find one I played a lot through t shirt sales but the rest still allude me. wish there was a way to track games you played years ago so its easier to find that one game you cant seem to recall
Their was this tix tycoon I played and it is gone now
I have this with alot of games from 2011 to 2015, alot of them are now pretty much lost due to roblox's bad search feature..
I'm almost confident there are earlier tycoons because 2008 is about when I stopped playing and I remember the genre being inescapable
Crazy Coincidence even when playing the game seeing clones that you put out then the morphs of your avatar is nuts
theme park tycoon 2 and lumber tycoon 2 my restraunt and most clone tycoons are my faveorite
Good choices both have different playstyles but offer a great sandbox experience allowing freedom on however you want to run your plot
Cruise Ship Tycoon, the Retail Tycoon series, and the Itty Bitty series should've got a spot on this list.
All great tycoons there's way too many great tycoons on Roblox that it's hard to fit a bunch under 30 mins while explaining
My favourite tycoon as of late has been retail tycoon 2. I finished the first one long ago, and I liked it because there was a good amount of customisation and the money came in easy. RT2 is a step above in just about every way, and it's a ton of fun. Bigger plots, more items to sell, a logistics aspect added, and the structures you can build is leagues ahead of almost everything else I've played, not to mention the UI is near perfect
the second game just straight up improved on everything the first game did and made it better and bigger in scale which I really like and think that both games are really fun to play with the second one being a real good tycoon game that can rival some actual paid tycoon games on Steam
no retail tycoon series is a crime
To add to this I will get this a lot which is fine I think retail tycoon series is a great game and pays homage to Deud1's game. I didn't include as I wanted to strike a balance between sandbox and regular button based games so it doesn't feel weighted to a single style of tycoons.
that gave would have been good if it updated
Watching through this video, makes me so nostalgic for these old tycoons. I’m a 2012 roblox player and seeing these old games I’ve forgotten to then seen gameplay of again is so interesting and heartwarming of how different old and new roblox is.
Joined the same year as me I still have a soft spot for old tycoons tho I do think now they are a bit slow well some of them are but thats fine i find them still quite fun to play sometimes
Miners Haven tycoon still being quite literally one of the best tycoons out there, if not one of the best. Sandbox is crazy its awesome
True 12k lives in on S+. Just trying to get a new superstitus
Wow... This was so nostalgic for me. All of those early tycoons I had played, crazy how time flies.

Nice video! My favorite tycoon is blood moon tycoon, got a lot of memories from that game
Don't think I've heard of that one before unless it's moon tycoon

every once in a while i see my old tycoon place VIP t-shirts in my inventory. oh how things have changed
Yeah when i check my t shirts i just see like 50 and im like damn
There was so much innovation and effort put into those classic older tycoons than the ones today, now it's just the same tycoon structure and format.
Pretty much other than some Tycoons that stand out like miners haven
That first two player tycoon has always been my favorite tycoon for some reason haha.
It's just a good tycoon can't be helped
I remember this old tycoon, it was in the era of 2013-2015. It was one of the old type of grey box droppers, you had to build a base with an electric fence and canons(really bad canons). I wish i could find it and play it again.
I've been thinking about it when I saw the comment and nothing has really come to mind other than laser tycoon which had no droppers

Yep a lot of these tycoons I have played before many years ago I wish I could find a faithful recreation of the teapot tycoon game. the one used in the video is faithful just some parts don't quite function just yet.
Hey man I have an interesting idea for you!
The Lost Tycoon:
Growing up I used to always find this reused “sword” tycoon that was super basic.
It could also have been this www.roblox.com/games/33399226/Content-Deleted thought im not too sure.

me neither and thats what made me love the game as it was so innovative on the genre
blood moon tycoon not being here is absolutely dastardly
I'll take the L on that one as after releasing the video that is the most common tycoon I've seen that should've been added
So glad you mentioned miners haven, a godly tier tycoon i still play to this date
Its also one of my favourites as well
WHY DOES DUED1 MAKE SUCH BANGER GAMES, ALWAYS!!!
Idk man just always seems to be the case

08 was a different time of people coding to try and dodge roblox limitations and now since there is no limitations its easier on people just to make it work
Og tycoons lowkey are so much better than the new ones, the old ones had heart and soul put into it now tycoons are just cash grabs.
True that they all have a lot of charm and some interesting ideas with some I still think are really cool to this day

I used to play roblox quite a bit, but recently ive found its pretty hard to find ACTUAL GAMES. Its mostly games where you do the same monotonous thing over and over again, and are really just trying to get kids to buy lootboxes or admins. Or their tycoon waiting games. Its really kind sad
Ive also never been into pvp, so idk about those.
Oh no these games are not newer i joined Roblox before tix removal so I was around for these games and had invested a lot of time into some like work at a pizza place with the whole parties n such
i drink paint thinner
Felt that
Man, I remember there being this one tycoon game called Civilization 2 where everybody in a server was contributing to the tycoon and there were skills you could level up that persisted between servers.
I've been playing Tycoon games since 2016 and I have these messages to some of those games I've played:
Mining Tycoon/Revival: Very quick and fun game, especially with the Revival's Rebirth system. Very good
Moon Tycoon: Still has the mining nonsense that doesn't work, but it's probably a leftover from the Star Wars collab event.
Oh yeah, that's right, the physics makes the game alone unplayable from TOO MUCH LAG
Ultraw Tycoon games: One word: G O A T
my man Ultraw knows how to make Tycoon games that are good and nice way to waste time.
I remember I played 24/7 a tycoon named "two player heist tycoon" by lethal682 (same creator as moon tycoon) and I loved it for some reason, the gears you could buy with the game's currency and the mechanic where each team had a bag that you could steal to gain "credits"
Yesterday I searched for the game and I was sad to see that it was dead, 0 players, although I felt very nostalgic when I joined the game and saw the map. I just wish some games never died
Dont think I heard of that one which is insane as its by the person who made moon tycoon
The two player company tycoon just unlocked memories for me
Such a goated game fr
I think I know which game you're on about it was a pretty fun game to play
feeling so old because i was obsessed with 2 player company tycoon as a child 😭
Its a great tycoon
Playing Lumber Tycoon 2 while listening. This video is a trip down memory lane.
Crazy, good game though fr I have a massive collection of axes on it
Does anyone remember a 4 teams 2 player tycoon that used to have a fire circle (like the one you find in SFOTH games) in the middle of the map?
Also it had droppers that used to drop items like swords or cakes to increase your in-game cash, if you touch the tip of the dropper part that was dropping the items, the body part that touched it turned into the item that was being dropped.
I remember playing this on 2013-2015(maybe) on my sister's laptop, this game is so nostalgic for me, I've always searched for it but never had good results.
Honestly i may vaguely remember something like that but at the same time not so much as a lot of games had droppers back then that changed your outfit like one that was related to cakes but I don't think it was 2 player rather 1 player.
Teapot Tycoon was like, one of my FAVORITE games as a little kid ;w; i'd play it over and over just watching the teapots grow
it was really fun when someone got the super giant one from the end game and everyone online would run over and hop onto it as it grew so we could stand ontop of the fully grown teapot
Loved playing teapot tycoon it was a really fun game and quite unique for the time
God, I remember playing those 2 player tycoon games, both of the clone tycoons, Miners Haven, Theme Park Tycoon 2, Zombie Desert tycoon... God, there were just so many that i've played.
Racked up a extensive list of tycoons I've played over the years that I wouldnt be able to list them all
I played Miner's Haven for a long, long time, before drama happened with the lead dev bringing in a known exploit programmer, which caused the rest of the team to lose faith in the project.
There is a game similar called Oaklands I think it does a good job of exploration like Lumber Tycoon 2 but adds more with mining as well
Refinery Caves is a very similar style to lumber tycoon 2, but it focuses on mining rocks and ores and stuff. Personally i prefer it to lumber tycoon because it has many more features like packaging ores, sifting sand, security boxes, and many more vehicle types too. sadly its not getting any more updates but the devs are working on a sequel which looks good so far
