- This is the first video of this project. I also wanted to mention there will be a lot more added to it even pick ups like energy drinks that will make you reload faster and running shoes that eliminate footsteps as well. If you have any cool ideas leave it in the comments and I'll pin them.
nice video i like this game
wishing you all the best!!!
Thank you new vid up now
I like how your lowpoly human model looks already without any artstyle on top of it and i wanna see the guy running around n stuff, that interests me more than the looks at the moment. but when you do get an artstyle i've always wanted someone to replicate or improve how Black ops 1 handled their models it was medium poly that looked quite nice. I wonder if you could do something similar with lowpoly and make it Look like its medium poly. (ofcourse thats alot of work but just laying out my thoughts)
Thank you, I am adding more details to the models right now, I know exactly what you mean and I might make a video of making the characters movement animations as well.
A secoundary weapon is held with both hands (not with one)
Nothing of this is final I assume so it's fine for a start. But the gun movement feels a little bit clunky (maybe use a secound-order-system to interpolate between the current gun position and where it's supposed to be)
The movement is already good (you should really add wall jumps and zipplining and stuff)
I'm a developer myself and could help implement this (only if you want me to of course)
I've only used one hand for secondary to speed up the development but I have an idea brewing in my head to use 2 hands
I also have a sway system ready when you look around your hand and weapon will sway making it more real feeling instead being still like a robot lol
I might add additional movement but aiming more for realistic movement so people don't get annoyed when trying to shoot other people flying all over the place.
Btw thank you for reaching out and for your input. I do want to collaborate with other devs in the future.
I will get it working and polish the animations for the next video.
