I disagree. That has nothing to do with "confidence", IMO. I try to improve my "knowledge". Not because I'm "confident" but because I want to IMPROVE myself. My understanding. My world-view. My ability to converse with others, with (likely) differing viewpoints. Is that "improvement"? Sure, I suppose. You could also argue that simply "living" is "continuous improvement".

A confident man is always polite and courteous, never obtuse, nor abrupt, always gracious and grateful, a man who says 'please' and 'thank you' and who is thoughtful of the feelings of others.
confident men are tough on themselves but easy on others. unconfident men are easy on themselves and tough on others.

I look for information and validation.
I can never have enough true believers in my own way of thinking and understanding.
If you're trying to improve your connection with women, get the intention to get to know her, don't get the intention to conquer because you stop being you and become an artificial man who tries to suck her energy, if you do that you get into the vibe of scarcity and no woman likes it, focus on connecting with the woman, getting to know her life, making physical touches to generate comfort and giving hugs in a nice and subtle way, it makes you know deeply who she is, I guarantee you If you do this your results will improve by 99%, I talk more about this in my videos on my MaleSide channel, thank you so much for your attention.
Touching people as a way to connect is something I don't like because it feels manipulative.
Over time yes, but in the initial stages I see it as invasive.
Maybe I'm wrong and it's a mistake ?
I just remember someone telling me their formula, of "compliment, question, opinion, touch", and it just seemed too contrived and predatory.
Getting to know the person as you mention I think is a good idea.
I often fail to "close the deal" since I err on the side of not being sleazy, but that's possibly a mistake.
Having a definite personal space could be not how people interact.
I would love a girl with the same inclinations, but we would probably pass like ships in the night.
Well many times we already have.
I write this for others to possibly consider from their own perspective.

The Jo Molone - Wood Sage and Sea Salt Cologne also showed up in the mail today. And I gotta say, that is one the best colognes I’ve ever smelt and a very fresh and unique smell. Thanks for the recommendation.

I wore the cologne Jazz Club today for the first time since I bought it few days ago as I remembered this comment as I was deciding which cologne to use this morning on way to office. I was like why not so I really can get a field test. It smells incredible on skin and even better than when I tested it on strip paper at the store. It lingers in the air where I can smell it also. The aroma of it, I absolutely love it and can easily say, it’s a damn favorite! So yeah, money well spent on “Jazz Club” cologne. And maybe, it will all help someone else on deciding also.

There is one thing that you never mention. Unfortunately, you have it...or you don't. There's no "learning" it. I'm not sure how to say it. It's an "attitude". We fail. We get up and try again. We fail again. We get up again. Maybe we don't fail and have to get up again. Perseverance? Stubbornness? Not really sure. Maybe a combination of ALL of these. Maybe its just in me?

Courage is the first step in confidence. Deciding to do something for a good or a great reason. When one defines their life, like having a rock solid purpose one may find themselves being a bit or completely unshakable. The "why" always matters. Being deliberate is very important to me personally. People recognize it, and you are appreciated and respected being this way. It's like the difference between just giving someone something as opposed to presenting something to someone. IMO
When you try something you either succeed, or you learn. "Failure" is a losers mindset.
Check out Lanny Bashams books "with winning in mind" and "parenting champions". How to focus on performance on demand.

Because unlike you, most people fail to set(and follow through on)an individual purpose for themselves beyond the usually failed goals of losing more weight, exercising more, or being a better Husband or Father.
