    my family had the same 2.0 (in red) after the berlin wall fell in east germany as the first western car. i remember sitting in my fathers lap as 6-8 year old and driving through similar forest roads. one time we got stuck in the middle of the night in some kind of field (no one knows anymore what we wanted there in the first place). he pushed, i tried operating clutch and gas to get it free. quite font memories.

      Не удивлюсь, если брат Скорпио 1 на канале появится. А если Гранада V6 найдётся на оживление, вообще улёт)) В Эстонии иногда всплывают удивительные дреднруты, как ауди 100 или БМВ 520 79 г.в. На дорогах такие машины уже и не встречаются, а в Европе и подавно. Сиерра и Скорпио машины крепкие были, вот только гнили жутко, это прям их беда.

    @dodgydruid 10 месяцев назад

    Should find a scrap XR4x4 which used the same body type, 2.9 Cologne or go for the Sierra South African police spec which had the Essex 3.0 which the south African police used as interceptors... very fast, there was even an RS extra bodykit for the 2.0iS although an XR4x4 one will bolt straight on. If you can make the mounts or acquire them from South Africa, you can even fit a Windsor 5 litre V8 in there (and a Rover 3.5/3,9/4,9 variant V8's will drop in with need of an adapter plate for the gearbox), same gearbox pattern or buy crated a 4 litre Cologne from Ford South America. BTW you can also buy still brand new crated Lima built Pinto's, the Sierra was Ford UK's last great "big car", the last great Ford UK small car lingered on as the underbody of the Fox over in the US this being the MK3 Escort, quite funny hearing all them stateside going misty eyed about the American icon... when in reality it was a tarted up MK3 Escort lol
