There is no problem with this. > helping someone adjust their sensitivity is not a scam? its important, and specific to each person. Things such as turning off mouse acceleration, etc, is important, and finding your own sensitivity to fit your hand, mousepad, and how used to your mouse you are. He should not be insulting others that are questioning his skill, coaching, etc. This is wrong of him. I agree he has a bit of an ego, and he has problems, but in no way is he a bad coach, and in no way is he a bad player, either. The goal of apex really isnt about KD, its about being the last alive. Although I agree that it requires more skill to go out and kill users, but taking into consideration the latest season changes, the devs are clearly trying to convey that the point of apex is to be the last alive. I got in a ranked game with this guy and he, solo dropped, yelled at us for not going with him, then proceeded to call us trash and accused me of buying my 4k 20 and masters badge along with all of my kills, he did 200 damage through the whole game I did 3500 and called me and my teammate garbage. There is literally a Channel in a server I have with my friends called the “frosty hate call center.” Thank you for making a video ab this!!
This just happened to me last night in ranked. He Landed solo. Died. I ran from crash site to pit to get his banner and rez him and he then he died again trying to grab a care package solo lmao. Then he blamed us for the whole thing. I had 1100 damage and he had 14. He was yelling at us LOL.
i played against frosty in a control match, he came into my stream chat telling me that his teammate thought i was hacking and i asked if i could see a clip. He said he couldnt clip but to check his vod and so i did and it was sub only lmao (i think he wanted me to sub or lied about the teammate thing for the same reason). Either way after watching some of his tiktoks and his vods, i was severely confused to see him being a coach when he was a lot worse than I am, and i would never feel comfortable coaching someone outside of movement let alone charge good money for it. Eventually unfollowed him everywhere cause i saw the flatline recoil video and it made no sense. Hilarious to see a video being made about him now lmao.
bro i went into frostys custom matches and he reset his customs 7 times accusing people of cheating. I got kicked for cheating on the 8th match. Dudes an absolute joke.

I've seen this guy get blasted online and the interactions that came out of it were pretty hilarious. On that note, I do agree these individuals that claim they are a 'pro' coach when realistically they are amateur at best, all while simultaneously spreading misinformation is straight trash. Ain't no way you can go around charging people money for that. BTW the audio balancing with certain edits in this video seems way off, maybe im trippin.
Thanks for the heads up .. I was looking for a coach for CC .. and came across this dude.. seemed legit at first glance but I ended up finding better coaches with proven pro experience..

I have to focus extremely hard when other sounds play, or if there is a large spike in volume. That being said, I really love this type of content and learning about the controversial side of apex players
Yo ottr I appreciate the videos, even though what this guy says is obviously bogus, it would be a fun watch if you took his claims at face value and then disproved his claims in the range.
As a amateur coach for Valorant. I also wanted to get into coaching around my plat/Dia era but was told to hit immortal 2 by a friend before hand. So I did just that, I grinded and improved and when asked why he wanted me to hit immortal since most of my information stayed the same. His response was "it was less about proving you are a good player, it was to teach you what it's like to improve and if your tips would work in high rank." If you're still reading then here's some tips that will help you at any skill level. Join a community/talk to people BETTER than you. Learn from them, I've learnt more hanging around immortal/radiant players than a YT video could teach me. Also think for yourself, the best players aren't always the best teachers and some teachers are better than others. Don't blindly follow someone until you test it yourself/get other sources.
After a while you can't improve anymore because you reach the sweat ceiling. Or if you get into it too late you're playing with smurfs and idiots, at this point I wouldn't even recommend playing Apex if you haven't before.
@@bayardkyyako7427 I disagree about not being able to improve. There is always room for improvement no matter what skill level. I also disagree about the smurf and idiots because you guarantee with have these on your team or against them. it will be balanced and if you truly deserve a higher rank then you will reach it no matter how the game tries to force u down. I played both Apex & Val high rank with these being my first FPS on PC. Recent example I recently got back into Val EU(Im NA) so my ping is 150+ after quitting FPS for 2 years at this point. I get put in gold despite playing against dia+asc my entire placements. This would be the rank many say "omg smurf and troll elo" yet I dominate each game gaining 30+ and losing -5 until i reached ASC in one month. Final Notes: If you truly want to play the game and improve I would adjust your mentality. There are no soft time cap, smuff/trolls keeping you from ranking up, and skill capped.
@@bayardkyyako7427 I made a reply comment but I don't think it sent and incase it's trapped in cypher 01's i'll give a TLDR. There are no skill caps, smurfs/trolls(dum dums) don't dictate your rank, and there is no time cap to get into a game. If you are struggling because of a sweat ceiling then that means you need to reflect on your gameplay, go back to basics. Smurf/Trolls is something everyone deals with so people that climbed also dealt with it at some point yet still ranked up. The most important piece is your own gameplay. Time caps are consistently proven false as many new/less experience players pop up and play in the top leagues. I'm not sure what your goals are but the current mentality you have won't benefit you or anyone. Purposely putting a cap on yourself.
I just played a game with Frosty. Bro landed by himself and die, we res him, he then push by himself and die again. He ended the game with 41 dmg all while screaming like it was our faults lmaoo
all of this is very true i was pulled on to his team for the algs while i was looking for an algs team and he was very vey unprofessional and went as far as gifting me and my teammate to not tell anyone what he had said and to keep us on his team and the second we left his team he instantly resorted to insulting us and banned us once we started bringing up the facts

hey that’s me in the clip where we all get lasered in the car (ReZstix) now i didn’t pay for his services nor needed them he just needed us to play in the tournament and i being a masters/pred player knew he was delusional and didn’t know the game bc all he wanted to do the entire tournament was rat until the end and for me it was embarrassing going out there and playing with him like that cause the entire game i kept getting trolled for being a console player but i had the most damage and kills for our team but i am glad someone is putting this out there for others to see
If sliding into a jump pad doesn't make me go further, why do I ALWAYS go further than my Teammates who just run over it? Are you actually testing this shit out? Also, heirlooms delay your weapon draw by playing an annoying heirloom pullout Animation all the fucking time if you holster, draw, holster, etc. So it does hinder you to have one equipped, to a degree. It adds an unnecessary animation that steals at least a second of your time.
Bro I got teamed with this guy and had noooo idea who he was and was super unprofessional for being a pro coach 😂. His delusion actually made me uncomfortable. This is recent .he's still claiming to be a world class coach as of 4/25/24
yep i follow him on twitch and every time yelling at teamates for example today the 5min i watched i saw him hide behind a rock talking about my teamates not playing with him... his teamates were ontop of ceto station one with 4 kills the other with like 6 or 7 and frosty had 1 kill 70 damage in gold rank and screaming in mic i guess you follow your rat teamate and not the multimaster alsgs player on your team.......
But you really get more distance if you slide over the octane jump pad, I went to the firing range thinking I have been stupid this whole time but you do, not a large margin but sometimes a small margin makes all the difference, also seem it gets less height... But overall this really seems bad misinformation, I wonder how many are out there doing the same thing, I don't consider myself good but at least I have above 0.80kd overall, I have been hearing a lot of stuff about the challenger circuit could you make a video about it? Love the content btw! Glad you are spreading some awareness about these scammers, I don't want these type of people representing our community...
You are correct. Sliding takes you farther with less height. The myth is that stimming into a pad takes you farther. It does not. The real reason for stimming to a pad is for more velocity which in turn will let you make sharper tapstrafes on a pad.
We would troll the hell out of frosty acting like we couldn’t play the game and he would give us bronze tips he would also land solo on trials in ranked every game saying he was an ex pro 🤣🤣
I haven’t even been playing for too long and I knew to shoot the Horizon Ult instead of crouch walking out. He probably thought since your making your body more compact that you would have more density and so A BLACK HOLE couldn’t move you.
The way I've always found my sens is to just put my mouse in the middle of the mousepad and then see how fast or slow I need to put it to do a 180 from mid right/left.

we found the rat to s17 masters 💀 if you're talking about him being pred, I guarantee it was the first seasons where everyone was bad or s12 where you could also rat to pred. if he was supposedly good, he would be a higher rank on PC. one thing is being bad at the game, a different thing is when you are bad, not willing to learn, your ego is up your ass, and selling bad advice/coaching.
@crangado I actually dont play enough to get to s17 masters. Thats not the point of my comment. As far as whether he was pred or not, i believe it was beyond 12. Not sure. Does not matter. That does not retract any of my points. Kind of a lazy reply from you. have you done any research? Or are you just a consoomer who is following "muh creator" like a npc without questioning anything? Lol
"Just get good." Great! That's wonderful advice. I thought it was just a thing trolls said, but come to find out, that's actually how to progress! It's really that simple. Just get good. Wow. That's so amazing to learn. It's so simple, yet so deep. I wasn't a client, but I feel like I owe him money now.
I swear I saw that trident clip before of them boosting and all dying. I thought it was from someone elses pov, maybe hal or smth. All I remember is someone saying "wtf are they doing".
Honestly just watch someone you like to watch as far as how they actually play the game. You’ll start to pick up on certain things with certain characters. For example when I was playing bang lore I would watch Shivfps since he basically mains her and I would start to notice I would subconsciously play the game how they would play. And shiv was a Apex Predator. That’s what helps me btw.
He essentially said basic information. but the inventory one an ideal setup (atleast to me): is 3 stack of primary ammo (without backpack), 2 stacks of secondary ammo (without backpack) 1 phoenix, 2 medkits, 2 batteries, 1 stack of cell, 1 stack of bandages, you can get away without the medkits for Arc stars or thermites if you don't use a character like Fuse.
I'm in the Halo space and I know of people who are not at the highest level of play and make videos, helping people. To be fair, this is more than okay so long as you don't lie about being a pro and are honest with your viewers every step of the way. The people that I know, do this. So, if anyone wants to be a coach or make content helping others, you can and you don't have to be of the highest rank. Just be honest. I wanted to clarify that. I also feel bd for this guy genuinely.
Yikes… It’s people like this who make other coaches look bad. I actually used to coach Apex a few years ago, but I have since moved on to other games and haven’t coached at all. All that to say that dude is pathetic. When someone is paying you for your time in hopes of improving via your input, it’s important not to forget that they’re the customer! I personally would take time (45-60 minutes at no cost) to watch numerous clips of my client’s gameplay in order to pinpoint deficiencies that we can focus on. I would also ask them upfront “what aspects of your game do you feel need improvement” and “what steps have you taken so far to foment said improvement”. This way when we were “on the clock”, we weren’t wasting paid time discussing basic information. I approached every session in the same fashion, even when I was coaching Fortnite. It’s painful to watch someone lie about their own skill set, but it’s even more painful when they are trying to convince others to spend money for their nonexistent advice while openly demonstrating their lack of experience and expertise.
@@ratch9769 not that weird, but i prefer carrying shield cell or a nade until i found a backpack then carry 1 more stack for it It's kinda like " why do i need these more ammo if im gonna use the gun when i can't one clip an enemy " thinking
I actually got into a diamond ranked game with this guy, he muted me and my teammate then landed on the other side of the map just to die in the first fight he got into with 30 damage. I then went to his Livestream on twitch just to see that he was getting yelled at by his wife
the only coaching question I would ever had for you would be "is the idea that game modes out side of battle royale help you get better faster when it comes to fights in battle royal"
As a solo queue ranked player, I hit diamond fairly easily by playing off my team. I usually assume they are a 2 stack duo, and tend to follow them unless I sense they have no clue what they are doing. Comms are also a big help, tho I find most people (on console anyway) avoid using in game comms so ping system is always king
By definition he is a professional coach, the definition of being a professional isn’t being skilled at something it is making money doing something as a profession.
I've actually played with this guy in a random match and was wondering how tf he was a coach cause he was playing like ass bahahaha. The entire time he was on open mic talking about how he was a pro coach. It was extremely annoying.

@@Yo_Mp314 damage is crazy what agent was he playing hopefully didn’t take a good one from you
i played against frosty in a control match, he came into my stream chat telling me that his teammate thought i was hacking and i asked if i could see a clip.
The only legit coach I know is District
Nah he’s just the same

And that's why I'm on gameleap as a coach lol
Lol yea district is a official coach
I've seen this guy get blasted online and the interactions that came out of it were pretty hilarious. Ain't no way you can go around charging people money for that.
BTW the audio balancing with certain edits in this video seems way off, maybe im trippin.

I love this video and other stuff you've released. Just one small thing, please try to check volume levels of music.
True, the content would really highlight and show what a bogus player is vs a pred player who knows their stuff
would love to watch that
range doesnt prove anything whatsoever
As a amateur coach for Valorant. I also wanted to get into coaching around my plat/Dia era but was told to hit immortal 2 by a friend before hand. So I did just that, I grinded and improved and when asked why he wanted me to hit immortal since most of my information stayed the same. His response was "it was less about proving you are a good player, it was to teach you what it's like to improve and if your tips would work in high rank."
If you're still reading then here's some tips that will help you at any skill level.
@@bayardkyyako7427
I disagree about not being able to improve.
@@bayardkyyako7427
I made a reply comment but I don't think it sent and incase it's trapped in cypher 01's i'll give a TLDR.

Season 17 has joined the chat

The way I've always found my sens is to just put my mouse in the middle of the mousepad and then see how fast or slow I need to put it to do a 180 from mid right/left.
if you slide into octanes jumpad does is not get you further?
I feel like this kinda of videos are like discovery channel of apex haha
That one about the horizon ult was the most scuffed thing I ever heard it felt like the Skittles I was eating was not the rainbow.
"Hit plat without even trying". I think this is valid information as he probably just ratted through the games and never tried a fight.
PLEASE READ BELOW BEFORE WATCHING VIDEO.
It seems to me this video is about as poorly researched as it is edited (also, volume warning at ~ 00:48 and other points)
There are plenty of points where things are taken either wildly out of context, poorly researched, or blatantly wrong. There are also points that you are correct, and as you being someone criticizing someone else, i believe that puts you open to criticism on your own content as well.
Here are the notes I have written and looked into while watching your video;
You are completely wrong about the octane slide into a jump pad.
From the Apex Legends Wiki, quote: "From a crouch or slide, players will launch along a low arc, meaning they'll fly lower but farther in the horizontal direction."
> CoachFrosty was pred on console. Plat on pc. Hes still a pro on console.
> Frosty was talking about getting out of horizons ult while healing, which is clearly visible in the video. You cannot shoot while healing, obviously.
> Frosty does help with drop spots, rotations, etc. I have known someone who took his classes.
> Frosty was talking about Flatline control, clearly. Not saying the flatline has zero recoil. This is kinda obvious in the video if you listen to what he says.
> ottr was saying only solution that coach said that the only way to negate aim assist is ~70m, he did not say it was the only solution. You even agreed that was correct. He did not say "you just die when youre closer".
> Heirlooms were bugged, which did slow you down at time
> at 09:13, frosty never said anything about ratting. he said formulate a plan and stick to it. There is no problem with this.
> helping someone adjust their sensitivity is not a scam? its important, and specific to each person. Things such as turning off mouse acceleration, etc, is important, and finding your own sensitivity to fit your hand, mousepad, and how used to your mouse you are. It was probably 5 mins from going through his streams, and speaking to users who have gone through his coaching, it helped, and nobody cares if hes eating, lol.
> at no point has coach ever told someone to avoid confrontation, and rat, to climb. He has, as far as ive researched, encouraged people to be aggressive when they think they can handle the fight, and be smart about the fights you take, and back out when you dont think you are going to win.
> 13:18 he does mention cells. He says "minis or large". thats... cells lol.
> 16:52 he is excited about getting a 2k, because he was getting 2k on every character, as a fun little gimmick. Again, things taken out of context
Fair points about him selling maps. lol.. kinda scummy
Frosty definitely responds to criticism and drama horribly.
Frosty accusing people of teaming, definitely awful, valid criticism. I agree.
Horrible that he accuses his enemies and rages often, but since he is someone who is a vet with PTSD and Autism, i can understand, but he does not get a pass.
Not the one with the most kills. If killing increases your survivability (by looting their corpses, or third partying a team to reduce competition) or if running away increases your survivability, do that instead.
If you were to ask me as to why youre picking on a smaller content creator, and why youre making this video without investigating any of your points, and accusing without proper research, it would be because you are just trying to pump out content just to advertise your coaching.
this
we found the rat to s17 masters 💀
if you're talking about him being pred, I guarantee it was the first seasons where everyone was bad or s12 where you could also rat to pred. if he was supposedly good, he would be a higher rank on PC. one thing is being bad at the game, a different thing is when you are bad, not willing to learn, your ego is up your ass, and selling bad advice/coaching.
One good tip for a valk main don’t use the full jet fuel, just use it in short burst which will also go farther and faster
The merch plug 😂💀
It’s painful to watch someone lie about their own skill set, but it’s even more painful when they are trying to convince others to spend money for their nonexistent advice while openly demonstrating their lack of experience and expertise.

the only coaching question I would ever had for you would be "is the idea that game modes out side of battle royale help you get better faster when it comes to fights in battle royal"
