One thing I would add, all those locks are a good start, but weld those two bolts on your hitch coupler (on the cart). It's a 20 part someone can buy and install after unbolting yours. Just a heads up.

For that damper pen for your moisture on your steam to get to any Machinist or metal worker and they can build them for you also on the propane lines you can add three or four we cut off valves you can use one or you can turn all of them on if you run them single
What is the length and width of the trailer not including the tongue?
It's 48" wide including the wheel wells, (6" each side) and I believe about 60" from front to back not including tongue.

I think it’s the size of a quarter pan, about 6 x 8in.

I bought mine from a field in Petaluma… I got really lucky.. they only come up on Craigslist once in a while.. keep looking!

Just a suggestion from North Carolina,buy you a reasonably priced small enclosed trailer that your HD cart will fit in,not a big one,fixes two problems,keeps it clean and extra protection from a thief. Just a suggestion, really like both rigs.

It depends on how much you want to work, where you live, and profit margins... some of us make a decent living... some of us just make some extra cash on the side.

I bought it used, and have done almost all improvements with the help of my husband. Small tweaks over the years.
You live in California...so why you have to put locks?...what's with the location sense?
We have a lot of crime here. I live in a pretty safe area, but even so, if you don’t lock it down, it will walk away.

How did you get a hitch installed, I was told the frame wouldn't fit one.
The transit came with one installed.
I typically don’t take “no” for an answer very well. I explore options until it turns into a yes.
i was thinking pickup and hotdog cart BUT the van and cart combo makes more sense!
I LOVE My Transit. They can be pricey, but if you find one, you’ll love it. Everything is protected from the weather, you can fit so much inside, and it’s low to the ground, which is my favorite!
Just wish I could LS Swap that baby to get some more power... but nooooo... not in CA. 🤪
What made you get into the hot dog business
I Really wanted a Food Truck, and I thought it was a good place to start.. I never thought I would love just doing Hot Dogs as much as I did.

That Brentwood is in So-Cal… it’s a subdivision called Brentwood, ours is a city in Northern Ca. Nothing crazy ever happened here. 😂

Wow, on the cover for the cart I would’ve used a giant tarp and lock it place on corners so it wouldn’t blow off!
We tried that. It just didn’t hold up to the weather, we wanted something we didn’t have to stress about during storms. Also it can stay on while driving!
