@@imtheboss8414 Those stickers on the canopy of the LMD-H were a nightmare to do, those like 0.25 stud x 0.75 stud stickers should have been printed like the rest of the details on the canopy given they printed a bit of a carbon fibre pattern on part of that narrow section
This car has very interesting building process, it's bold, hardcore and out-there, the combination of olive green and light blue looks badass and there seem to be a ton of potential for personal modification and tinkering which I always do with speed champions. I respect the ambitious choice and love this set!
Rest in peace to all the Speed Champions moc builders who were excited for the olive green wheel arches that turned out to be black ones with a print. Would have been perfect for a smaller-scale Defender.

Honestly, this set made me look forward to future Lamborghinis being made by Lego. I’d love to see the Terzo Millennio or even the Egoista be portrayed. They’d complement the exotic Lambo Vision GT very well imo!
This set instantly caught my eye, when the pictures of the new speed champions wave surfaced. I'm not a car fan at all, therefore I judge sets from this line based solely on their appearance as lego models and building technics used to achieve it, so the weirder they get, the more interesting and fun to build they are to me. For that reason Solus GT (also a Gran Turismo game car) is my favorite vehicle from the theme and this new Lambo feels kinda like a sequel to it and the Aston Martin Valkyrie. I think I can't pass this one up!
why lego isn't going for older cars?? i would much rather have like a miura for example instead of this weird looking concept car and some old mercedes ( w124 for example) instead of modern sl63
I think this set is another good Lego speed champions set to add the collection. The futuristic look, the funky angles, and building techniques, it is a pretty good set. I definitely agree with you on applying those tiny red pieces on that black piece, I really don’t understand the reason behind that choice. Thank you for the amazing review as always! 😁
This is the only car from the June line I'm interested in picking up - it looks pretty neat as is but I'm also looking to moc up a Batmobile design for it as well. The build looks really fun so that's a plus. Great review.
Wow, I was already looking forward to this set but it’s been forever since the last time I was legitimately shocked & amazed by a build experience. The last time was with the new Galaxy Explorer in 2022. While I disagree with the new $27 price tag Speed Champions sets have now, this one is definitely worth the price because of how much development effort went into designing this model. This will only be my 3rd ever Speed Champions set with my other 2 being the Lotus Evija & Dom’s Dodge Charger but I really like concept cars even though I’m not a car guy at all. Can’t wait to pick this set up this weekend along with my other June 1st sets like Captain Rex’s Y Wing Microfighter, the Stegosaurus Discovery, & Zane’s Ice Motorcycle.
Thank you so much for bringing this video to us. I love this car and will be purchasing at least one. Your evaluation is wonderful and you address many details of the model. Personally speaking, I find that sometimes the smaller versions of cars, such as in the LEGO Speed Champions series have a more overall pleasing look than some of the larger models. For example, this V12 Vision in this scale seems to work better for me than does the larger Technic Sian, where there are noticeable openings along the body. This is not a criticism, just a preference. As mentioned in the video, LEGO designers have certain constraints under which they must work when designing a model. I think they did a brilliant job when designing this V12 Vision. Thank you again for this wonderful video. (Liked and Subscribed)
The transparent blue pieces to me is a nod to Sony's GT7 game on the Playstation. It reminds me of the Playstation blue or the physical cases Sony ships their games in. Since you can drive the car in GT7 it's like Lego gave a little shout out to Sony
The only reason why this time they did not print on the side plate is mainly because the injection nub is on one side. The printing process made it so that whichever side came into the printing machine, there is a 50-50 chance that the print will be on the injection nub side.
I loved this build, especially the engine detail with the hinge bricks. I wish the area just behind the cockpit had been printed though or brick-built, and I also managed to mod the diffuser/exhausts for stronger connections.
I wanted this car as soon as I found out it was coming out from a rumor in December of last year absolutely love it don't care about any of it's flaws because I just love this car so much as though the minifig looked like Supercar Blondie when I say it
Sets like this make me wonder if other conceptual racecars will ever be made in Lego form. While I'm not a super big fan of super rare hypercars either, a lot of these Gran Tursimo Vision cars don't have actual scale models or duplicates and are stuck only in the game. I think its nice to see them represented in a form like this.
Mercedes cars do exist IRL so we can compare. This one doesn't and looks weird and toyish IMO. Mercedes double pack will be a banger. This one won't IMO. Time will tell...
I just built this car and I came the nearly all the same conclusions as you Balazs! I thought the car was a bit ugly from the box but in real life it looks really good. I was also perplexed and annoyed at the tiny sticker for the side plate, but I got them on straight on the first go so I was happy!
None of the second wave are appealing to me but I'm really excited for the 3rd wave with the Nascar and F40 and I guess there will be a double car set to go with. Was pretty hot on that GT Vision Lambo but I am very disapointed by the final product which doesn't get the almost F1 car it is with central cockpit and wheels almost apart of it.
I enjoyed your review, thank you for your effort. I think, you're not even too harsh on this one or the mercedes bundle. I think you didn't even mention the difference of the the mercedes headlights to the real thing, but the 'interesting building techniques' were a take-away other youtubers didnt mention. For the lamborghini: maybe when it's on sale, but I think I'll build some models from cada and mouldking instead.
There’s some interesting “second” aspects to this. This appears to be the second retail set with PlayStation licensing, after the Horizon Tallneck (there were also some promo Spider-Man items, or designs which used aspects from those games, but weren’t necessarily licensed from PS). It’s also the second Speed Champions car to be based on a Vision GT design - and the other one also made an appearance in this video. The McLaren Solus is an evolution of their Vision GT design. As far as I can tell, this is the first Speed Champions car to be based on a car that is not actually drivable in the real world.

Perhaps the 1x3 round plates could not (yet) be printed, which is a bit of a shame because applying these very thin stickers on a very thin surface indeed really seems like a pain, especially for my old eyes...

As far as the colors, I agree that Lego’s Olive Green is the closest option currently available. Too bad that Lego seems to have given up on doing pearlescent opaque colors, other than Pearl Gold and Pearl Titanium-a “pearl olive green” (or “satin olive green”/“olive green opal”, depending on the naming scheme you prefer) would look amazing. Thats basically what the old Metallic Green technic panels were, and I’d love to have some other parts that match them. (Then again, if there were any other matching parts to build with, those rare metallic green panels would probably be a lot more expensive, so maybe I should be glad that it’s an orphaned color.)
The set looks amazing in my opinion, but I'm most certainly not a fan of tiny stickers. I think once we get those 1x3 rounded plates with the hollow studs in red, they could serve as the tail lights instead of the puny stickers. Or then just 1x2 rounded plates wuth the hollow studs in red+1x1 studs in black

Watching this, I had a latent thought in the back of my mind and then you panned across the Ferrari and it came to fruition: I really don't care for Lego doing Fantasy Hot Wheels sets.
I actually drive this car in VR in Gran Turismo 7! A bit hard to drive in with the weird cockpit shape and middle pane, I'm sitting on a couch with my back straight, unlike leaning way back the way drivers sit in such cars. Really hard to drive this in the game.. Sorry, driving simulator. I might just get this one since you mentioned it's quite sturdy, as my toddler child would no doubt be rolling it around.
The olive green looks great for this set but i'm not sure if it would've worked for the Sian. The problem it has in terms of colour is more to do with the real car shown in the manual being what appears to be Verde Gee with Oro Electrum accents whereas the set is closer to Verde Scandal, Citrea or Bronte. Looking on the Sian list on Exotic car registry, there are 0 Sians that match the set completely, theres a Verde Scandal/Nero Helene/Exposed Carbon with gold wheels and a Verde Citrea/Exposed Carbon with gold wheels, both of these having the rear arches, roof, bumper and other panels a different colour. There is a Verde Bronte car that is very close to the technic car but was delivered on black wheels.

While I'd love to see more older cars the scale makes it difficult to pull off the shaping between one car and another. Already seeing this with the 8 wide Darkhorse vs previous Camaro builds. Would love to see a Pontiac GTO down the line. Over all this June wave has been really unique outside of the Aston Martin set, and can't wait to pick up this and the Mercedes pack.
Having just finished the build, this is one of the weirdest Speed Champions set Lego has put out, and most definitely one of the flimsiest. The car is overall quite small and short, and there are a lot of open crevases too. While the buiild process is rather engaging, neither the build process, nor the end result is quite as substantial as other modern Speed Champion cars. The opening cockpit is without a doubt the best feature of the car though. Mine came in paper bags, and the first time I had a Lego product that was packaged exclusively with paper bags. I DONT LIKE IT. Checking if anything is stuck inside is a chore, where previously we could just hold the clear bag to a light and see if there's anything left behind, not so with the paper bags. Twice in this build I had small parts stuck in the paper bags that I didn't see, and thought I had missing parts. I get the enviroment protection thing, but this is a clear degradation of user experience.
It's an interesting build, but it feels unfinished. It lacks anything like a built up seat, there is a large slit in the floor of the cockpit, and visible technic bricks on the side of the car that feel like they should have a piece covering them. And a minor quibble, but the driver won't fit in with the hair piece on.
this might be my favourite speed champions car of this wave. it's one of the three types of cars i want more of: interesting concept cars, classic/retro cars and pop culture cars. (honestly, these three are basically just one category: something other than F1 and samey looking sports cars)
I have all the 8 studs and love them, even for the Solus and Valkyrie which are my least favourite. This one though, the real car is effectively a giant model, not having a real engine or drivable have certainly cross the bottom line of mine. If the discount price doesnt not goes exceptionally low, I will consider skiping this set!!
personally im waiting for NSX, LFA or other great classics like new version of the 911, but instead we got another concept car that waiting to be rotted inside our drawer
I just put mine together and I like it but it feels so frail. Nothing is really locked down anywhere. The wheel arches are literally connected by just their lower studs. It doesn’t even roll particularly well. I honestly don’t know how this got through Lego’s review system. It feels like a MOC and not a particularly good one. It skates by on how interesting it looks I suppose.
Not super in love with this one but the Lambo Speed Champions sets tend to be good Compared to the Merc there is no competition, very boring imo I guess it's also a matter of acuracy compared to whats posible For a masive build, the Merc is disapointing and inacurate, the Lambo manages to be interesting and just acurate enough within their limitations to deserve some praise
I still think that it is really ironic to see Lambo in Champions series after Aliexpress full of offers of poor quality lego technic analogue of this model. It would be even more ironic if the Technic Supercar of this year would be this Lamborghini model as well.
Not a fan of this to be honest. These futuristic video game cars just aren’t my bag, which is a shame as the Speed Champions theme is probably my favourite that Lego do. The

@@KarimBoctorAwad right, absolutely hate it. Just bought it bc of the f1, it is currently rotting away in my drawer as I didnt wanna waste display space for it. The pagani also turned out horrible, such a shame. Those round cars just cannot be replicated especially without new molds. Tires are also a huge problem.
@@ich4226agree so much on the Utopia comment and I have also skipped displaying Valkyrie and Solus. This one will be right at the bottom of the pill if I ever want to buy it. Don't even feel missed out for the eight studs collection.
As a dedicated collector with a complete Speed Champions collection, I cringed when I bought this set. Personally, I'm not a fan of the source material, and I believe there are much better "one-off" Lamborghinis they could have made, like the Sesto Elemento. While I always appreciate the building techniques and experience, I found this build less enjoyable. Placing nearly 30 stickers took more time than the actual build, and throughout the process, I couldn't help but dislike this car. I understand that some might say, "Well, you don't have to buy it," and that's true. However, as a completionist, I felt compelled to add it to my collection. I haven't found the Mercedes and Aston Martin sets in stores yet since June 1st is still a few days away. I'm hopeful I'll enjoy those sets more, even though I'm not a huge fan of their source material either. Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with these new sets. I really enjoyed the March 2024 sets and feel that the June lineup doesn't meet the same standard.
I can't help but feel that this wave was pretty sad.. Boring Mercedes pack, ANOTHER F1 car that is gonna be the same as the last one, just greeen, and another aston martin that is gonna be the same as the last one, but green. And the lambo is either amazing for some or garbage and unrealistic for others

At my Walmart, they always put these out days earlier so now I have the Mercedes set and two of the Lamborghini set

Nice concept car. With a bit of modifications, you can make the rear a bit better. I like it they made the minifig to a youtuber.

Having just finished the build, this is one of the weirdest Speed Champions set Lego has put out, and most definitely one of the flimsiest.
The car is overall quite small and short, and there are a lot of open crevases too. While the buiild process is rather engaging, neither the build process, nor the end result is quite as substantial as other modern Speed Champion cars. The opening cockpit is without a doubt the best feature of the car though.
Mine came in paper bags, and the first time I had a Lego product that was packaged exclusively with paper bags. I DONT LIKE IT. Checking if anything is stuck inside is a chore, where previously we could just hold the clear bag to a light and see if there's anything left behind, not so with the paper bags. Twice in this build I had small parts stuck in the paper bags that I didn't see, and thought I had missing parts. I get the enviroment protection thing, but this is a clear degradation of user experience.

Very interesting one! Unsure if I’ll buy this one, I think it looks cool but I don’t have much need for olive green once I decide to dismantle it.
It's an interesting build, but it feels unfinished. It lacks anything like a built up seat, there is a large slit in the floor of the cockpit, and visible technic bricks on the side of the car that feel like they should have a piece covering them. And a minor quibble, but the driver won't fit in with the hair piece on.
this might be my favourite speed champions car of this wave.
it's one of the three types of cars i want more of: interesting concept cars, classic/retro cars and pop culture cars.
(honestly, these three are basically just one category: something other than F1 and samey looking sports cars)

I have all the 8 studs and love them, even for the Solus and Valkyrie which are my least favourite. This one though, the real car is effectively a giant model, not having a real engine or drivable have certainly cross the bottom line of mine.
If the discount price doesnt not goes exceptionally low, I will consider skiping this set!!
RB when you do the Aston F1 pack or any SC review can you talk about the female figures and figures in general please.
personally im waiting for NSX, LFA or other great classics like new version of the 911, but instead we got another concept car that waiting to be rotted inside our drawer

I just put mine together and I like it but it feels so frail.
Nothing is really locked down anywhere. The wheel arches are literally connected by just their lower studs. It doesn’t even roll particularly well.
I honestly don’t know how this got through Lego’s review system. It feels like a MOC and not a particularly good one. It skates by on how interesting it looks I suppose.

Not super in love with this one but the Lambo Speed Champions sets tend to be good
Compared to the Merc there is no competition, very boring imo
I guess it's also a matter of acuracy compared to whats posible
For a masive build, the Merc is disapointing and inacurate, the Lambo manages to be interesting and just acurate enough within their limitations to deserve some praise
Transparent colors : arent those for tuning the car with underside lights?
I still think that it is really ironic to see Lambo in Champions series after Aliexpress full of offers of poor quality lego technic analogue of this model.
It would be even more ironic if the Technic Supercar of this year would be this Lamborghini model as well.
Man. I know they have a budget and there are already a lot of printed parts in this kit, but stickers on the side of a plate is just preposterous :(

Not a fan of this to be honest. These futuristic video game cars just aren’t my bag, which is a shame as the Speed Champions theme is probably my favourite that Lego do. The
I agree to that, but there might be some people who love futuristic cars, I think launching 1 futuristic car after 1-2 years is okay-ish, as other cars they launched are cool

These types of cars never do in my opinion. The concept mclaren from the double pack was not great personally
@@KarimBoctorAwad right, absolutely hate it. Just bought it bc of the f1, it is currently rotting away in my drawer as I didnt wanna waste display space for it. The pagani also turned out horrible, such a shame. Those round cars just cannot be replicated especially without new molds. Tires are also a huge problem.
@@ich4226agree so much on the Utopia comment and I have also skipped displaying Valkyrie and Solus. This one will be right at the bottom of the pill if I ever want to buy it. Don't even feel missed out for the eight studs collection.

Looks like a hot wheels car
As a dedicated collector with a complete Speed Champions collection, I cringed when I bought this set. Personally, I'm not a fan of the source material, and I believe there are much better "one-off" Lamborghinis they could have made, like the Sesto Elemento. While I always appreciate the building techniques and experience, I found this build less enjoyable. Placing nearly 30 stickers took more time than the actual build, and throughout the process, I couldn't help but dislike this car.
I understand that some might say, "Well, you don't have to buy it," and that's true. However, as a completionist, I felt compelled to add it to my collection. I haven't found the Mercedes and Aston Martin sets in stores yet since June 1st is still a few days away. I'm hopeful I'll enjoy those sets more, even though I'm not a huge fan of their source material either. Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with these new sets. I really enjoyed the March 2024 sets and feel that the June lineup doesn't meet the same standard.
Edit* I got the Mercedes and Aston Martine sets. I enjoyed those builds a lot more especially the G wagon.
I wish Kaz would stop stalking us. Vision GTs are as unexciting and unwanted as his new games.

I can't help but feel that this wave was pretty sad.. Boring Mercedes pack, ANOTHER F1 car that is gonna be the same as the last one, just greeen, and another aston martin that is gonna be the same as the last one, but green. And the lambo is either amazing for some or garbage and unrealistic for others
