  • Driving on the Nurburgring in extreme weather is something I'll never forget. This was an epic Porsche Cayenne Roadtrip.
With my 2006 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S all fixed and back on the road, it was time to celebrate with a 1,000 mile road trip to the Nurburgring. Will the car make it, how much fuel will it take and what will the Nurburgring be like in extreme weather (rain & snow)!

Wow very jealous. When's the video of the Turbo around The Ring?

I didn’t want to risk it. As this was a solo 1000 mile trip I couldn’t afford to have it breakdown due to the punishment on the ring. It also would be pretty poor, it’s not really suited to the track 😁

awesome video! shame about the weather. For some reason I thought you would drive the cayenne round the ring. But great to see her get to Germany and back. Question for you, how do you see your MPG? when i flick toggle through the onboard computer it shows 14.4 mpg and doesn't change. I wonder how you figured you got 20+ mpg ?

Thank you! It was tempting but as I was on my own I didn’t want to risk damaging my ride home. Had the weather been better I would have taken it out.
The driving footage show is a tiny percentage of the actual footage, so that’s why the computer shows that figure.
