Im a native spanish speaker, i was searching for some video like yours, but in my lenguage theres not a lot of videos about peroxidation and the videos i found, are so hard to understeand and sometimes bad explanation, i tried to understeand you with my english lvl and i think i did, thank you so much, you saved me
Thanks, you explained it the best out of the other videos I've watched. I've been taking care of my in-laws and noticed that "old people's smell " and I wanted to know what caused it. Now I know. You did an excellent job and you are very knowledgeable with this subject. 👏
Thanks for the knowledge. Only issue, you draw a curved double headed arrow to show the pushing of a single electron radical. This should have been a curved single headed fishhook arrow to indicate the movement of a one electron.
Thanks Maryam for appreciation and i am really glad to know that it helps..... InshaALLAH i am trying my best to put forward videos like this ..... keep supporting
Hussain Biology In sha Allaah, ur wlc sir u have ability to understand us and also teach us by short but meaningful leacture special its useful to save our time, and sir have u any vedio about oxidaion of protien by ROS for example alter of amino acids chain, I searched but didnt find any vedio about it?
When using substances to increase Ferroptosis like arternesium, how does taking a iron supplement affect the production of peroxidase ? I read "Any iron present from residual food may neutralize the peroxides." but i dont understand the mechanism.. Appreciate your explanation
At the end of the reaction, ROOR is formed. What is the next step in this process? If both R groups contain 14 carbons, would the final product be a 28-carbon lipid peroxide? Additionally, after this, would both R groups revert to regular lipids, or would they form alkoxyl lipids?
can this result in either fat/collagen/muscle loss? i got a nutreval refently and my lipid peroxide count was high. i have joint pain as a 25 year old and my rheumatologist ruled me out for RA and Lupus.
Go on the carnivore diet man. Look up Dr. Paul saladino, Dr shawn baker, Dr Ken berry, Dr anthonee Chaffee, robb wolf, and Diana rogers. They all eat a carnivore diet and can explain the science far better than I can. However if you're not eating PUFA your join pain should go away. I had my knee rebuilt due to an injury when I was 21. I went on the carnivore diet 2 years ago at 27. My knee hasn't had pain since.
Luv dat video educating about H2O2. Kept seeing this H2O2 in organic chemistry, was thinking water???? Base H2O with big O added. Plants and animal cells alike. Tks.
1 - from where comes this O2 in this chain reaction ? 2 - Why are we talking about PUFAS when you show that this cycle happens in CH2 rather than CH=CH (so it looks like reaction that can happen in saturated fat as well with no difference)
Thanks. But I couldn't understand many words you were saying. Could speak a little slower and enunciate? I listened over and over but couldn't make out many words. I know it's my problem for not understanding you accent (everyone has an accent). Just asking, I guess.
Best lipid peroxidation video on RUclips. Thank you

Look up the LD50 for ascorbic acid or sodium ascorbate then see if it prevents lipid peroxidation, with its electron donor properties. :-)

How do you heal/ repair your body from lipid peroxidation?
Chris Lehman vitamin E is a great start
look for more stable forms of fats, like saturated fats and cholesterol (from high quality eggs). i’m no doctor but seems logical.
Can someone make some captions? I can't understand the accent. (I mean no offense, im sure the explanation is great)
u smart

Wow
Since ya are talking since ya take a while to go back and forth to board, so I would assume ya are talking, so can put closed caption.
