Hi everyone, I'm the curator at Mohenjo-daro. Mohenjo-daro is one of the six UNESCO World Heritage sites in Pakistan, and it's considered the best preserved and managed among them. Currently, we have a dedicated team of director, curator, and archaeological engineer who monitor the site full-time. Additionally, we have a water and soil laboratory called WASIL on the premises where artifacts from Mohenjo-daro are treated and materials like soil and water undergo chemical analysis for conservation purposes. Recently, the government of Sindh, Pakistan, organized three international conferences. We also have a Technical Committee (TCC) for making decisions regarding Mohenjo-daro, consisting of university professors, engineers, scholars, and officers from the archaeology department of Sindh, who review decisions made throughout the year and assess progress. This year, world-renowned archaeologist Mark Kenoyer has joined the TCC. When Zemtv reached out for a video, they were given priority access and a guided tour.

Each shows us an amazingly advanced civilization that includes domestic life, governance and adminstration, defence against enemies, specific places for religious activities, water conservation, drainage system, advanced agricultural methods, and trade with foreign lands over sea. The Mehrgarh civilization gave rise to the Indus Valley Civilization, while the Punjabis and the Samats of Sindh all belong to the Arayan race that came here from Central Asia. But the civilization of the Indus Valley is not related to the Aryan race, the civilization of the Indus Valley is before them, the promotion and propagation of the Hindu religion gave birth to the Aryan race, but they have nothing to do with the civilization of the Indus Valley. Some migrated here earlier and settled here and some settled here later But people belonging to different races born in Sindh live here with love on the soil of Sindh. I am an Indian and follow Hindu Religion and my mentality is that i am concerned with bigger picture as always i see humans interacting with their surroundings and deducing certain laws that govern the nature and thus establish certain rules and regulations to be followed for the preservation and safety of their society thus establishing a local religion like Islam,Hinduism, Christianity,Buddhism,Judaism, Jainism,Shinto, Egyptian and Greek.etc Some may have divine intervention and experience as claimed by many thus making it more deep. But never have i gotten emotional thinking about the people from the past as i have gotten now watching this video but it must be due to my emotional attachment towards my religion and Yoga and the fact that The indus valley people were also into Yoga and all and they migrated to India thus Giving rise to a never Ending Religion Sanatan Dharma but it would have been different if i was to be born in a Muslim parents thus making me a Muslim and then i would have gotten emotional about Prophet Mohammad and the civilization living in early Mecca and same for Buddhism Jainism,Greek etc etc. But My Inclination should not be towards any religion but towards the truth the truth that prevails and triumphs all.

I went to Mohenjo Daro about 20 years ago and was disappointed to see we were the only tourist there over the 2 noghts we stayed there. If site as important as this was in a western world it would be rammed with tourists

Thank you very much for presenting the beautiful documentary. I am from Karachi, Sindh. Mohen Jo Daro has many staggering facts about the ancient civilization. I have read somewhere that the carbon dating of this ancient city has astonished the Archialogist finding in Egypt and other ancient civilization discoveries. The reason Mohen Jo Daro's further escavation has stopped is its carbon dating that defies all previousely established time-lines. The carbon dating of Mohen Jo Daro is about 40,000 years old and that is what puzzles the archialogists. Whereas the established facts go back to 5000 to 7000 years or by approximate date up to 10,000 years. Yet the carbon dating of Mohen jO Daro is way older than that and does not fit to the established advanced civilization in other escavation of civilization, including Egypt, Mayans, Inkas, and other. One of the reason not accepting the carbon dating of Mohen Jo Daro, is perhaps for that reason, if they accept it then they have to rewrite the ancient history. By all means and finding of artifacts, modern living-style of Mohen Jo Daro is superior to all ancient civilization. In one of the assesment of vanishing off this civilization it was reasoned as a devastating nuclear explosion was the cause of the destruction of this civilization and some nuclear radiation and radioactive traces were noted. You presented this video with all details available to this date. Great and tidious work can be witnessed in this video; specially the aerial view using drones, and ancient live depiction. Currently, we have a dedicated team of director, curator, and archaeological engineer who monitor the site full-time. Additionally, we have a water and soil laboratory called WASIL on the premises where artifacts from Mohenjo-daro are treated and materials like soil and water undergo chemical analysis for conservation purposes. Recently, the government of Sindh, Pakistan, organized three international conferences. We also have a Technical Committee (TCC) for making decisions regarding Mohenjo-daro, consisting of university professors, engineers, scholars, and officers from the archaeology department of Sindh, who review decisions made throughout the year and assess progress. This year, world-renowned archaeologist Mark Kenoyer has joined the TCC. When Zemtv reached out for a video, they were given priority access and a guided tour.

I am an Indian and follow Hindu Religion and my mentality is that i am concerned with bigger picture as always i see humans interacting with their surroundings and deducing certain laws that govern the nature and thus establish certain rules and regulations to be followed for the preservation and safety of their society thus establishing a local religion like Islam,Hinduism, Christianity,Buddhism,Judaism, Jainism,Shinto, Egyptian and Greek.etc
Some may have divine intervention and experience as claimed by many thus making it more deep.
But never have i gotten emotional thinking about the people from the past as i have gotten now watching this video but it must be due to my emotional attachment towards my religion and Yoga and the fact that The indus valley people were also into Yoga and all and they migrated to India thus Giving rise to a never Ending Religion Sanatan Dharma but it would have been different if i was to be born in a Muslim parents thus making me a Muslim and then i would have gotten emotional about Prophet Mohammad and the civilization living in early Mecca and same for Buddhism Jainism,Greek etc etc.

I went to Mohenjo Daro about 20 years ago and was disappointed to see we were the only tourist there over the 2 noghts we stayed there. If site as important as this was in a western world it would be rammed with tourists

Thank you very much for presenting the beautiful documentary. I am from Karachi, Sindh. Mohen Jo Daro has many staggering facts about the ancient civilization. I have read somewhere that the carbon dating of this ancient city has astonished the Archialogist finding in Egypt and other ancient civilization discoveries. The reason Mohen Jo Daro's further escavation has stopped is its carbon dating that defies all previousely established time-lines. The carbon dating of Mohen Jo Daro is about 40,000 years old and that is what puzzles the archialogists. Whereas the established facts go back to 5000 to 7000 years or by approximate date up to 10,000 years. Yet the carbon dating of Mohen jO Daro is way older than that and does not fit to the established advanced civilization in other escavation of civilization, including Egypt, Mayans, Inkas, and other. One of the reason not accepting the carbon dating of Mohen Jo Daro, is perhaps for that reason, if they accept it then they have to rewrite the ancient history. By all means and finding of artifacts, modern living-style of Mohen Jo Daro is superior to all ancient civilization. In one of the assesment of vanishing off this civilization it was reasoned as a devastating nuclear explosion was the cause of the destruction of this civilization and some nuclear radiation and radioactive traces were noted. You presented this video with all details available to this date. Great and tidious work can be witnessed in this video; specially the aerial view using drones, and ancient live depiction.
