Bruce will be 63 years old in a few weeks and the man's voice still sounds incredible!
What is even more amazing is that he sounds like that after surviving throat cancer.

What I love in your reaction is that you naturally turned your attention to the A. Smith's solo, even though the animation was really absorbing during his performance. You've got a truly metal soul! ;)
FYI Bruce is also a throat or tounge cancer survivor. He was diagnosed and treated back in 2015.
Here's a great comment that sums it up. It’s a modern/weird interpretation of Belshazzar’s Feast in the book of Daniel in the Old Testament. Belshazzar was the last king of Babylon and didn’t obey the law’s of God. One night he threw a party and a hand appeared and wrote a message on the wall that he couldn’t read. Daniel interpreted the message as the Kingdom would be destroyed because he didn’t listen. That night the Medes and Persians invaded Babylon and killed Belshazzar. That is where we get the term “the writing is on the wall” when it’s clear that something bad is going to happen and is inevitable.
As for the song and video it seems like they translated it to some modern times. Basically the haves are having a big party while the have nots are suffering at their expense. The cloaked character, who turns out to be Eddie dispatches the riders, modern take on the four horsemen of the apocalypse (who are previous versions of Eddie from other album covers). Then the cloaked Eddie reveals himself as a Samurai (this doesn’t fit with the story but it introduces the new version of Eddie on the next album which has a Japanese theme). The Eddie’s destroy everyone at the party, take Adam and Eve, presumably to start new and fresh somewhere else.
I recommend: Iron Maiden 2001 rock in Rio, the Clansman, and from album Death of the Celts, and also from the new album: the darkness hour.
This song was a great surprise the other day when it came out. And today they posted a new album release date. Stoked to hear the rest of it.

Iron maiden is the greatest heavy metal band of all time. Bruce Hass to be considered one of the greatest front men in any genre and one of the greatest storytellers ever. This song is incredibly deep and the video is even deeper up the irons

I like this new track. It's a little different than the "usual' Iron Maiden sound. It bodes well for the new album IMO. The video is fantastic too. I was always more of a Judas priest fan back in my high school days (but of course, I liked Maiden too). Over the years, I have found Maiden to be much more consistent with their albums. Judas Prist's last album kicked ass...I guess we'll see if Maiden can answer the call and lay down a killer album of their own. As in comparison everybody says Dio is better than Bruce just get him to move as much then you will realise who is the best Dio is bassically static. Bruce runs around jumps over equipment and still sounds awesome, and yes I do like Dio.

Just being brutally honest Bruce's voice doesn't really do it for me but EVERY other aspect of Iron Maiden is SO good that it doesn't even bother me. I'm not going to let 1 nit picky thing like that lower my opinion of the band as a whole. Just amazing all around!
As a Maiden fan, it's the first time your channel's appeared in my feed and I'll admit I was sceptical of yet another 'Reaction' channel. So many are just lazy videos of guys shouting 'Yeah bro' or whooping, with no insight or even attempts to speak in complete sentences. Please take this as a compliment but I was pleasantly surprised by this video - you showed genuine emotion during that solo, and had some interesting thoughts throughout.
Also, the three -not two- guitarists in Maiden are Adrian Smith (soloist in this video), Dave Murray and Yanick Gers. They are all awesome and capable of mind-blowing guitary stuff (technical term there).

Been watching reactions like these all over RUclips, it's not "weird things" that you're seeing, unless you've been living under a rock for the last five years, or, all your life basically, the video criticizes USA, Great Britain and China, as primary examples of evil, exploit of people and corruption, that will ultimately bring the end of the world and the destruction of mankind, so Eddie Senjutsu and all the other Eddies as the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse do God's work and slay the evil people that oppress others, save Adam and Eve who begin again (saved by the Eddies from destruction) and the world is cleansed from it's current state.
Just to put it simply.
If you play it at 1.25x speed it sounds like 80’s Maiden🤟⚔️
