Glad to find your channel. Im from Indonesia, SJ413 (Samurai) is pretty rare, but we have SJ410 (here we called it Katana). It is 4x2, but it is totally base of SJ413 with a three different kind of roof, etc. I already have my Katana for 3 years now, and what you do to your Samurai, really encourage me to do the same. And btw I like how flex your Samurai does 👍🏻. Im going to watch the entire series of building your Samurai. Keep healthy mate,
Cool dude! There is a lot of interchangeability with the different versions of Samurai. Maybe you can throw a 4x4 transfer case and front axle in there. 🤙🏻
@@FortuneOffRoad yeah convert to its original form is my next term project.. besides TC and front axle set are needs big buck (already saving for it) 😂 at this moment im facing an issue with suspension. The suspension (fr and rr) sways too much (in on road). Do you think the rigid ness of the shackle matter?
Yeah, originally my phone flipped the view when in "selfie" mode. I've since corrected that. This youtube channel has been a continuous learning experience!
From what I remember it's based off of what shift tower you have. I had the small one, but you can upgrade to the large one if you buy the whole assembly.
I really love the look of the samurai... would you recommend it as a daily driver as well as a mild offroader? (I live in a rual area with lots of gravel roads, but about an hour away is a city (techanally a town but 30k people is a lot for me lol) and I think its a nice, cheap car, to learn how to drive in. But judging as its old i'm thinking lots of maintenance, and lots of gas refills. Is this correct?
Suzuki Jimny, 660cc turbo great daily, gets up to speed easily with some cheap mods and gets around no problem, mountain goat off-road, can’t go wrong it is the best daily if you’re looking to do some pretty harsh wheeling in stock configuration

I started to look for rust in the floor and there wasn’t floor 😂😂😂
You know where that roll bar is from? Looking to get one to protect the kiddos. Thanks
No, I don't know. Looks homemade. Definitely not the best quality 🧐
Looking at the gear stick bushings and bolts in lowrange website. Did you use the small or large bolts for the samuri?

Love the build videos! What did you use to line the tub after this video and before the next?
I used rustoleum truckbed spray

In stock configuration I think it would be great for what you described. Once you start to modify it they don't do as well on the road.
@Fortune Off-Road Thanks! and do you have a video where you upgrade the motor?
@@mr.phoenix8691 I swapped from gasoline to propane and that was huge upgrade for me.
@Fortune Off-Road ok thx!
