Saw them in the early 80's with my sister. Always loved them and this song. I just read Kerouac's book "On the Road" and now can put this song in context. They captured the essence of the book wonderfully in this song!
"Born on the Road" has really aged well; it's great to hear it again. I was showing a video about the 1950s and the Beat Poets to my students earlier today, and we discussed Jack Kerouac's "On the Road." Made me think of this song, which has always been one of my favorites.
Their first album was the first album I ever bought. I saw them in concert with America (my second album) in the 70s. First concert I ever went to. 3 firsts!

Glad to see Aztec Two Step included. One of the most overlooked bands of that era.

Don't understand why you guys didn't become starz! You will always be my stars! I am 63 years old by the way.

Thanks to the NYC folks who turned me on to these guys back in the '70s. Going on half a century and this album still sizzles.
I had the wonderful opportunity to see them perform a few years ago in one of the River towns in NY. Wonderful
Great tune, great lyrics! Long live Aztec Two-Step!
