I need to buy some nuts but I'll will make some parsley pesto. Parsley, any nuts, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper. I make it for pasta, spread it on bread or crackers, and put it on vegetables. Love it......thanks for the video and showing what to do with scraps.

We grow our own onions and garlic in our garden, then we dry them in the late summer and store them for use throughout the year. Now we are beginning to run out of last summer’s home-grown cooking staples... it is a sad time... store-bought just ain’t the same!! Great video, beautiful colours and textures in your dishes. PS - I am also a guessing member of Team Pasta... it’s a total crap-shoot if I cook the right amount every single time.
I bought a tool to help my friend who has five kids! (For how much spaghetti she needs haha). But general rule, the size of a quarter is a portion for one person. I guess the equivalent would be a 20 kroner coin?! Haha

Aw man I should've used more water in my dish. I made a white bean alfredo dish but tried to be healthy and use greek yogurt instead of heavy cream but it came out not super great. It came out more like Pasta Roni (if anyone knows what that is) instead of a super creamy dish. Better luck next time I guess
for a really long time I've been interested in making a food scraps stock, but I can't figure out how to deal with onion peels - they are usually covered in mud, but surely washing would make them soggy and fall apart? any tips? 🌿
How much pasta is enough for one person: that's what the hole in a pasta spoon is for. Yes, it's not just for decoration. The amount of spaghetti that fits in the hole is the right serving. Don't buy any pasta spoon that doesn't have that hole.
So i'm not sure if u could get to the point of dumpster diving for food. Just worried of catching something, my immune system is pretty bad due to an illness. But I love the recipes!

the thing is it tastes LIKE carbonara and it's tons easier to make people try it if it reminds them of something they know already, it's easier for people to find my recipe when researching, aaaand it makes it easier to match it with other foods if you know what it tastes like. "Carbonara" actually means bacon and egg and has nothing to do with the milk (there are tons of carbonaras without bacon as well, so I feel like you can use the name however you like) 🙌🙆♀️
Eating and drinking at the same meal causes a tremendous amount of bloat and gas in the meal especially when mixing fruit smoothies with other foods. Fruit digests faster than vegetables and much faster than starchy cooked foods like bread, pasta, etc. Next, I have been a Vegan 42 years and I have never taken a B12 supplement. The belief that we humans cannot get enough B12 from plants and are better off taking manmade concoctions or can only get it from slaughtered animals is misinformation that most people buy into. The real issue is that most Vegans live on processed Vegan foods like bread, pasta, cookies, pies, chips, etc instead of real plant foods thereby leading to all sorts of deficiencies!
We have a spoon with a hole in the middle and i use that for measuring spaghetti; works every time. The cashew carbonara looked yummy 😋!

I just weigh them 😊 if I dont eat much with the noodles I take 125g and If theres alot with the noodles I take 100g 🌱😁💪

Also for the vegan nutella, just a tip it's better if you roast the hazelnuts. Really makes a difference and the Nutella becomes much more creamier 😊

I don't save peels but you can just wash them. Then I put it all in the freezer and pull it out when I have enough.
