    Nicely filmed. Thanks for posting. How did you get the footage to be so smooth and steady?

      How is the mounting with the RX100 camera? I heard that it's a problem with the off center mounting screw, Did you have to mount it with the logo upside down? I read that's a possible work around.

      No problem to mount it!

    Nice work! What were your settings? Auto or manual exposure/focus?

    • @jcrivard3104
      @jcrivard3104  7 лет назад

      Thanks you! Auto focus, everything else manual and 100 fps.

      Did you have any overheating issues? Was the 5 min. limit on 4K a drag?

    • @jcrivard3104
      @jcrivard3104  7 лет назад

      No it was not. I shot at 100 fps in HD. In 4K the fast frame rates are not available. The camera does overheat at 100 fps, but I shot only short clips.

    hard to see any vibrations when you have the entire video in slowmo. Good though!

    Did you use an external powerbank with your setup because the RX100 V has terrible battery life.

    Hi! Did you use the internal stabilization of the camera? Which one, standar or active? Thx

    • @jcrivard3104
      @jcrivard3104  7 лет назад

      Only standard is available when shooting at 100 fps (or 120 fps for NTSC... I shot in PAL)

      JC Rivard thank you for your quick answer.

      Same thing if shooting in 4K... only standard.

      Just one more question.. did you feel like you needed to rebalance the gimbal when changing the focal length for example 70mm? Or its unnapreciable?

    • @jcrivard3104
      @jcrivard3104  7 лет назад

      I balance the gimbal with the lens at 24mm (zoomed out) and I shoot most of the time like that. At 70mm (without rebalancing) the gimbals motors will work a bit more, but it still works fine. I would not shoot for a long time like this, I would rebalance it in that case. When not well balanced, the gimbal vibrates quite a lot.
