same here Tom. Im always do closing shift at McD here in PJ Malaysia section 14 and will take all expired burgers/chickens and drink to all my friends that already waited outside. Then we will enjoy all the meals like thats the last meal on planet earth and then..street skateboarding . That was around 2002. Almost every single night untill the sunrise

I saw him when i was 9, i sang him songs over time, when i turned 14 was my favorite, now he has become in my inspiration, Tom u're a beast!!
From the age of 8 to 17 all I did was skate and listen to Blink. I'm 22 now, sadly the skateboard somehow got away but I still literally cannot get enough of Blink. Hope they keep churning out songs for years to come.

as a kid growing up, we imitated Tom all the time. I had so many injuries trying to be a skater (I couldn't skate to save my life) and musician like Tom. I would call it a MAN-CRUSH!

I think it's awesome to see old clips of these people that so many idolize. It's neat to look at this and think "this guy I look up to now was just like me as a kid growing up." and it's always cool to see Tom talk about something other than music too. Great video

Tom, with Blink182 you were a part of my scene growing up. My fondest memories are of a bunch of friends in my parents minivan, blasting Dude Ranch and heading downtown to shred and BMX. Thank You.

my god someone i can relate to im 12 and i love my punk rock and i love to skate but none of my friends appreciated my music interest, also ive only got one friend who skates hardcore the rest just go round on pissy pennys and wont do anything but cruise, and this interview kinda shows me a new world, THANK YOU TOM!

I love Tom Delonge, I love AvA, and I love Box Car Racer!! I love all of Tom Delonges work! You can just feel a sense of freedom in every AvA song, a sense of adventure, which is what I love to do.

Tom is my true idol and my inspiration he is what keeps me going his lyrics and way of life. People don't like me because I listen to punk rock and skateboard and I am in general my own person and a leader not a follower so people decide I'm such a freak but this video makes me feel really good and like I can achieve anything...

I remember those days :) I skated with Matt (Hensley) at a demo in NY. Nice guy. He changed street skating for ever. Skating will always be for me, the best years of my life. Everything Tom spoke about, I lived as well. Tribe is the perfect word to describe not just toms group, but the entire scene. There was a commonality and a brotherhood to it. Mike V said it best on one of his shows: "If you saw a kid with a board, you were like hey whos that kid? then you welcome him in and we all skate."
