      @@huckleberryjam4975 because it's a flex to spend $100 + on bite sized portions of food when you could get better food in a much cozier environment for 1/5th the price per person? People are starving everyday in this country and it's a flex to spend an exorbitant amount on food that's going to turn into s*** either way, whether it's $20 or a $100? Eating the food doesn't make you pretentious but you sitting here flouting your "fine dining" just makes you look like a tone deaf asshole. Congratulations, starving Americans applaud your fine dining experience (as if anyone ever really gave a shit in the first place)

      Some of the best foods I’ve ever tasted have been from those types of restaurants. Of course, not everyone is able to spend a couple hundred on dinner, but the combinations of flavors/ different types of foods are things that you wouldn’t just be able to go and try anywhere else. All I’m going to say is, you get what you pay for.

    When you feel like all-you-can-eat-sushi for $23.99 is a splurge, then you see this. . . I get it, you all worked hard to get where you're at, I don't want to downplay that at all. I really appreciate living vicariously through your food ventures. Lisa, specifically, caused my daughter and I to bond over ramen variations. Just the stark contrast between the have and have-nots seems to be getting more extreme.
    Granted, y'all are kid free . . . I had my first kid in 2010 (4ish yrs old in profile pic) and a 2nd in 2020. I love them deeply and like to think they've made me a better person, but ultimately, moral of this comment - focus on your interests and how best to make that $$$$ before kiddos. Or, ya know, don't have any.
    Edit: spelling

      That’s so sad what you wrote. You are seeing a minute highlight reel of their lives but not their whole lives. It looks great but I think eating at fancy restaurants all the time and a slave to your career won’t be nearly as satisfying when they get older. They are living for likes and subscribers. Your children are your inheritance, value and treasure them.

      @arielcatherine 2 года назад

      @@somerset647 Not sad, merely honest 😊 I have come to terms with my socioeconomic status, simply making an observation. Yes, I was being blunt about the financial burden that kids can have, as in opportunity costs. I acknowledge the fact I chose to resort to a less than desireable job for 14 years to make ends meet, lost a well paying corporate job recently, and haven't yet completed the bachelor's degree I'm only approximately 15 credit hours from obtaining. Unsolicited advice or food for thought is rampant on social media, was just adding my two cents.

      @@Hat65 It's funny how once you make a lot of money through your own hard work, people think you owe them something and then they turn on you when, no, you actually don't. And some of them will start whining about how much more poor they are, but they're happy (even though they're still whining). Might even throw in a few -insults- backhanded compliments.
      She's selling you entertainment and you, the audience, buy into it by watching. That's it. They're not your friends, they're a brand. This is their career. You guys chose to watch this, are you really expecting relatability? I mean, you don't expect this from actual celebrities right? Not even Jennifer Lawrence, and she's fake relatable!
