Glad you made it up to the rim. Thx for sharing your adventure. I've been camping the rim for 40 years and would encourage you checkout the east side of the 300 on your next trip up. I personally feel there is more to do and see. Instead of heading thru Pine, go east from Payson and head towards Heber. At the Rim, you have Woods Canyon, Willow Springs, Bear, Chevron and Black Canyon lakes. In Late April/May or anytime after heavy rainfall, there is a beautiful waterfall at the Woods Canyon lake dam. Wild Horses can always been seen at the black canyon lake and there is an awesome trail at the back of the lake were crystals can be found in the stream. Follow the trail to the Willow springs dam and follow it to the bottom where there are always anglers doing fly fishing in the creek. Enjoy your adventures and thanks again for sharing.
How good/bad was the forest road 300. From what I could tell it was well maintained? I've been wanting to get to the Mogollon for a while now. Everytime I get a chance, it's way to cold to go there. LOL Thanks for sharing!
what solar panels do you have on that flyer? are they the plug n play ones that connect to the solar panel connections on the rv? what is your battery set up with panels? thanks! great video!
We have a HQST 100w panel mounted on the trailer, with an option to plug in another panel if we park in the shade. We completely bypassed the factory solar wiring (different plans for that in the future) and installed a Victron charge controller with a Renogy 100ah LiFePo4 battery. We have enough room to upgrade the 100w panel, but really haven't needed to so far. We left our fridge turned on after a trip and a couple of weeks later it was still running, so that was a good accidental stress test. Thanks for the comment!
Dad took me and my brother camping all around the mogollon rim and mount Graham. Like miles away from anyone so we could shoot our guns. In tents. I'm trying to move to West Virginia or North Carolina though. Can't live in this desert my whole life I need water and greenery
Beautiful spots in AZ and the fact that you two are just beautiful people makes it better. ❤

Your truck would have no issues with forest road 300, and you'd have a blast on your bike up there.
@@TheDieselApartment I do believe I would have been more bummed out than Levi was, not being able to fly the drone. LOL I felt his pain.
That road has spots like they all do but pretty good. Beautiful place.

The hardest part of this HAD to be leaving. Thanks for sharing.
Are there bears in that area?
Hey Steve! Yes, there are black bears in the area. We locked up our food and trash and didn't have any issues with the local wildlife.
