Hi everyone!
An RHCP medley has something I've wanted to do for a long time (many years in fact) but never had the time to do so. Summer has rolled around and finally I got the chance to compile my favourite/top 40 Flea bass lines. It took a looong time to put together (that peg turn to drop D tuning took forever to get right) but here is the finished product!
The video angles (and audio takes) were recorded separately so there are some continuity glitches (I only have one camera!) but other than that I hope you enjoy!

I always wonder why Soul To Squeeze isn't included as one of Flea's best. Yes, it's a melody, not the usual bass rhythm line, but it's the foundation of a great song, and really, just an amazing bass melody!

Yeah that bass/guitar jam from Goodbye Angels was the best part of that whole album. Hoping Frusciante brings back some magic with their next album. Excellent playing.

Nicely played I think some of the drop D songs (like Naked in the Rain) could have been played better with an edit and a quick down tune. Otherwise great video i polayed along :)

While the intro a verse of higher ground are the most recognizable bass lines of the song I think the chorus and pre chorus are the best ones, wish you played them
