He is pushing drumming and musicality in a way that hasn't happened in a single person consistently in a long time. Even the current "Greats" recognize and respect him.
In other words, he is amazing. I have been playing for 20+ years and I WISH I could ever come close to his understanding of percussion.
This is the best drummer of our time. He is reinventing drumming. Absolute beast. Any content you choose to see you will be amazed.
100 % agreed!
Not even close to the best, but he is definitely different and stands out from most. He's AWESOME, so don't get me wrong. But some guys out there are god levels of good. He is working his way up there, though!
He is one of the best 👍🏼
@@MandyZor-Elindeed
@@TheJokesterSCR There's always one of these "Well ackshually" guys when someone likes something. Always.
He's out of this world, certainly my favorite drummer ever. You should definitely check out a compilation of his RUclips shorts where he plays some songs that drummers usually struggle to play with two hands, and he plays them with only one hand.
Even Jazz legends are naming him as one of the most skilled drummers ever. Choose any content you like, but his "Blinding Lights" cover is absolutely amazing
The techniques in the blinding lights cover are amazing and I'm not a drummer or a musician even.
You know when Dennis Chambers is calling you a goat, your doing something right!!!
You need to check his Blinding Lights play through. His limb independence is on full display in that song.
That being said, EES real name is Jorge. He resides in Valencia Spain, and when I discovered him in March 2020 he “only had” 25k followers on IG and even less on his RUclips. He put out killer videos every single day and blew up from there. I am 43 and have been a drummer since I was 4, and Jorge inspires me to get better. Welcome to arguably the best rabbit hole on RUclips!
Some of the stuff this guy pulls off is unreal. He got me to start back up on my drum kit. He plays with speed but very controlled with impeccable rhythm. All his limbs are so independent that he can keep up so many rhythms at once. His covers are so unique to his style that the music feels brand new so you can enjoy your favorite songs all over again. Love this guy, and so will you guaranteed.
Siberiano is on a different level....one of rythmic MAGIC,doing the impossible that you are seeing with your eyes anyway a blurring speed
Especially when he does the cover of godzilla
My dear, you should have a listen to his cover of Blinding Lights by The Weekend. Although he follows the original, he still finds the right time to add his fills, and I swear they sound amazing. Also, you NEED to watch his short one hand cover videos. This man is right now, imho the very best drummer ever. We don't see it in the videos, but he works hard ( and I mean HARD) to be at the level he is. He practices between eight to ten hours every single day.
I love his Blinding Light so much, but for a first video, this was a good pick, you don't want to start with the best and go down hill, you want to ramp it up.
@@Gantzz321 You are absolutely right.
Definitely one of his best. Though the one I'm hooked on right now is his cover of Bongo Song. That would be a fun one to respond to.
We need to see your reaction to his best of one handed drumming clips!
Fairly new member Aileen, sorry didn’t find you sooner. I just wanted to tell you I love your channel, only because of YOU!! It doesn’t matter what you play. It’s your REACTION I love most. The way you hold up both hands with fingers touching, with that gigantic smile. WONDERFUL CHANGE in reactors.
I always love how genuine your reactions are. You are the best reactor out there. Seeing how much music effects your emotion. You truly have music in your soul. Beautiful.
This drummer is truly incredible! Their connection to the music is simply magical. You can feel the music pulsating through them, and they transform those vibrations into a breathtaking performance. It's as if they have rhythm within their soul. Hats off to this exceptional musician who knows how to touch our hearts with their percussion skills. 🥁🎶👏
Great reaction, Aileen. I've been missing reactions from my favorite channels like yours for a while by now but I listened El Estepario a lot... your reaction was 100% spot-on and beautiful watching it. You deliver the most articulated reactions I've seen in all these years. Only a good and true listener can deliver something like that and you definitely are. I truly loved this comeback of mine to your channel.
I love how he takes those older classic metal songs and makes them immediately modern. What an amazing artist, he is incredibly creative.
it's crazy learning how much he practices. It's an obsession of the highest order tied with a natural passion for music.
Double reactions?! ON A FRIDAY? Perfect way to start the weekend!! Cooking up these videos 😮💨I'm so glad you paused on the same spot I was hoping you would cause those lil fills hello?? *GROOVY* Dude is an actual chad with the twirly drum stick and that deathcore part he did!! I thought one of your Twitch sound alerts was going off at then end on accident 😭😭
Seeing you lean into the video and ducking smile the way you do is the absolute reason I love music! To see someone see and feel the way a lot of us did when we first seen or head these songs just makes my heart scream❤️🤘❤️🤘🔥
El Estepario is an incredibly hard working inspired drummer. I laughed when you said hand tied behind his back. Because he has numerous videos where he just attacks songs playing with just one hand. Estepario is a gifted musician and showman. You can't go wrong reacting to his material and you'll have a blast doing it. He's a drummer with almost 3 million RUclips subscribers.
Oh wow, you’re gonna love your El Estepario journey.
You just found the most amazing drummer I have ever watched. He does things you won't believe! Keep up the great reactions!
You are probably not familiar with Neil Peart or Danny Carey. Makes sense.
@@dunhill1 ruclips.net/user/shortsGrs6KmbYiIY STFU nobody is saying Peart or Carey suck but this guy is changing the game period.
A brilliant rabbit hole to go down. An absolute machine on the drums.
You should check out some of his shorts where he plays things like Slipknot one handed. He's completely reinventing what we thought was possible on drums. He blows my mind with everything he puts out.
Every damn cover is absolutely mind blowing ALL of them.
Amazing drummer, pushing the limits !!
I have watched him for years and he was absolutely not trying lol. He has a WEALTH of work to dig through, looking forward to seeing your reaction to his library.
Yee I enjoy watching that dude drum. You can tell he loves it. You don't practice enough to get that good if you don't love it!
Best review ever!!! First time viewer and subscribed.
This is one of the most dedicated-to-their-craft guys you'll ever see, he dislikes the word "talent" for very good reasons, he feels it ignores the actual work put into getting that good, the countless hours invested in honing the craft, are not incapsulated in the word "talent(ed)", so he basically prefers "skilled" as that does imply invested time to learn the skill.
He's also very honest about how much time it took to get to his level, and he wants others to be able to learn it the way he did, so he created a drum course you can download... for free.
So yes, this man is born for this job, he is incredibly skilled, does have a ton of talent as well ofc (even if he dislikes the word lol), but he is not in it for the gains, he's in it for the love of percussion.
that palmed rim hit is ridiculous skill, he is changing drumming forever, what an absolute beast, best drummer we have ever seem in my opinion
We are so lucky to be experiencing how this man plays the drums. It is so effortless and cool by far the best percussionist today!!!!❤❤❤
Omg I’m so excited you reacting to him! He is amazing.
This is the first time seeing one of your videos so I will start by saying you are beautiful, and I really like the cat ears on your headset. With that being said I really enjoyed you take on one of my now favorite drummers El is awesome. I especially liked you saying his playing comes from inside him. Not a lot of people can pick that up. I always judge musicians on the depth of feeling and heart that goes into making thier music, this is why Linkin Park is one of my favorite bands. Thank you and I'll be looking forward to more of your videos
El chingonazo estepario siberiano!!! this guy makes it look freaking easy!!! and while he does overcomplicate on purpose I'm always surprised he is maintaining a ton of harmony, definitely my favorite drummer currently!
I've been telling you to watch this guy since he first started. About time😂
I've been watching this man play for 2 years now. I thought he was as good as any drummer at any time back then, and he's even better now. I've been playing drums for 50 years. He has mastered every aspect of his craft. He's that good. I don't think he's ever come close to reaching his headroom.
Very good reaction. Thank you
I really like your bangs! :D
So glad you found El Estepario! His videos are all great content. Gangnam Style, Thriller, Blinding Lights, and his shorts all amazing.
Never heard this Dude but after the first major fill. Holy crap. A precision Master!!! Effortlessly
oh man the siberiano arc has started lets go! He's got some truly insane videos on his channel like the a7x covers he's done
Just discovered your channel today! Really like the vibes, the videos setup, the genuine reactions you give to music and and i just went all out watching lots of your videos, expecially the ones that covers some of my favourite bands (Tool, Heilung, Jinjer etc.). Now it's impossible for me to not suggest you to listen and maybe react to some Dimmu Borgir songs. Anyway keep it up with all of this good content and never stop enjoying music 🤟🤘🤟🤘
How's cover of Everybody dance now is insane. I never even liked that song growing up lol. But he completely kills it playing stuff that was all digital from a synthesizer. Just amazing
He is THE MOST IMPORTANT INSTRUMENTAL ARTISTS of our time!
Keep the videos comin' 👍🏾👍🏾
Such a great performance!!
What people don't see is how much he fails. I'm sure he practices endlessly to be able to play a song through like this in one take. This dude is a testament to hard work and striving for absolute excellence. He practices so much that crazy difficult things, appear easy. That is the mark of an amazing drummer. Making the difficult or impossible appear easy. All of that being said...it would be nice to see him in an actual band, coming up with his own drum tracks on songs. All I ever see is him doing his take on other people's songs.
8 hours a day he says. One video he missed something and pounded the shit out of his for Tom and it was hilarious!
Well... Actually people also get to see his fails, he has a lot of blooper videos. And he sure does practice a lot, he says so himself and he's always advocating practice amongst other drummers. The truth is that he has something that most of the best drummers don't, we can call it a gift.
I doubt that most of the best drummers in the world would be able to do the same he does EVEN if they practiced the same. He's a legend.
And he has been in original metal bands, you'll find them if you google it.
He does some one handed drumming!! Truly a living legend!!
Welcome to the club, you did a good decision to check him out. He's one of the kind musician!
I feel like I just heard that for the first time again he's truly gifted
He's definitely very good hun I've only seen a handful of videos from him but we'll see more right can't wait
You need to see more of his vids.
He plays very hard drum covers with one hand!!!
Oh, you have not even BEGUN to experience this man's talent. Keep going!
Chester we miss you dearly I wish he was still around ❤
Less of a cover, More of an exhibit of insane techniques and skill
This guy has been popping up everywhere lately.. Love his stuff!... and I love the way you say his name!. So many people butcher it! lol. Definitely check out his version of blinding lights!, by far one of his best..
Aileen there is a band that is iconic from the 80's called Tears For Fears. Their song Everybody Wants To Rule The World is one of the biggest songs to come out of the 80's. El Stepario does an amazing cover of that song. Watch the video for the original song a few times to become familiar with the song then watch his cover. In his cover you can hear him shift the pocket but then brings it back just so you know its not a mistake. Check out those two videos.
He incredible creativity has gotten me to listen to music I would have passed over in a second. Instead he got me enjoying it. He's amazing and I don't know one of his covers I wouldn't recommend. He's got a new band and they just released their first video. I loved it!
Hes one handed videos is amazing! You HAVE to check those!
His version of Blinding Lights is mind-blowing.
You're absolutely right, he's not even trying. He has short videos where he does some of the hardest drum intros and solos one-handed while having a drink and/or a smoke.
I believe that when he closes his eyes in his drum 'covers', he's not feeling it, he's actually nearly falling asleep and drumming on auto-pilot.
This guy is AMAZING. Every cover i see him do, it's if he is showing the original drummers they should be doing the song.
If you have ever hear the term "Theres levels to this shit", well, Jorge here is showing what the next one looks like as far as drumming goes. Man is uber talented.
Estepario es un baterista increíble, le encanta SOAD , Slipknot fue una de sus mayores inspiraciones para volverse músico, llegó a ser baterista de una banda de metal española prestigiosa llamada SARATOGA que personalmente a mí me encanta.
He is INCREDIBLE You got it right Holy Crap❤❤❤
He’s awesome! Enjoy 😁🥁
Great vid! Yeah, he's a new kind of drummer I've never seen before. I know he's practiced (and continues to practice) like 12 hours per day. Every new video he adds on YT, he does something new that I've never, ever seen before! Watch other drummers react to his videos, they point out the technical stuff even great drummers have difficulty playing (if they're able to at all).
I've said this once before and I'll say it again, you have one of the best stank faces I've ever seen
JEFF was HERE 🏆
This guy makes me question whether I should ever pick up a pair of stick again!!! Those rimshots are killer!!!
Love that you love El Estepario. I adore him, he's so entertaining and absolute amazing drummer. You've got to watch his cover of Emminem Godzilla. By the way, you have a lovely smile 😊
Has pronunciado su nombre mejor que ningún otro youtuber de habla inglesa. Te felicito por ello.
That is a very very deep rabbithole :)
Oh ya sometimes he’s drinking coffee and smoking while he’s drumming, the man is incredible, thx for checking him out 🤘🏼💥🤘🏼
This is Estepario on low energy..... in some other videos he actually goes for it..... he is one of a couple of drummers that made me rethink my plans to get back into drumming. Even if I was a quite successful and good drummer back in the days, what these guys do nowadays is 20 lvl's above what we knew and did back in my days.
you can see his precision, his focus, but you can also notice hes having fun, and hes relaxed. look at his shoulders.
Blinding Lights is the next video of his you should listen to. I promise you. You will love it. It’s one of his newer ones.
Great reaction!
This guy is insane, he can drum 1 handed and while eating/drinking. He's got all sorts of tricks. You should really check out his other content
No one mentions that rim click he does, that is so incredibly difficult and impressive, this man is a genius
Thanks for being you
Best drummer I’ve ever seen. Dead ass
He literally has more talent in one hand than most will ever possess. Check out some of his "one hand" short videos (playing one of Slipknots hardest songs one handed is a good one).
The most awesome is the short tiktok like videos he does with one hand... it's incredible how he can play effortlessly pieces of very complicated songs using only one hand while he smokes or drinks a beer... ;)
AileenSenpai, We're at 25 days left til' Halloween 👻🎃
He’s awesome!!!
He can’t read music, but has great understanding of music.
He listens to song and just go off!!
Aileen: "He could probably do it somehow with his hand tied behind his back"
Me: Oh, he can! And he does!
(I don't want to spoil, but "Bat Country" is one such piece!)
✌❤
Yeah, his playthrough of Everybody Wants to Rule the World is phenomenal, but then again everything he does is phenomenal. Literally the best drummer I've ever seen. A modern-day Paganini in terms of playing an instrument in an entirely new way. A musician like this comes along once in a century. He's the real deal.
he has a tonne of slipknot covers and they are all badass.
Hey Aileen! He's a f***** alien! To do that kind of drumming without even trying, is insane! 👍👍😎😎😎😎😎🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Jazz Drummer Dennis Chambers (considered one of the best in the world) said El Estepario just might be the best drummer in the world. He is not covering anyones drum parts, He captures the song and then just plays along completely overplays with his improv. He has one where he does a Foo Fighters song titled "Dave Grohl Fired Me". There is a video of him telling his story and it is an incredible tale of discipline, intelligence and genius. Don't believe he is even in a band. He seems to do this just for himself. And no, He doesn't even need to try. His trying time is already done. He is schooling musicians of every kind.
His Blinding Lights run through is nuts.
Wow love ❤
His version of the Bongo song is an absolute must
His drum fills are legendary.....taking metal songs to 11
His one handed covers are 🔥
I can watch him play drums for hours!
God-Level drumming. He does so much with so little and has so much natural talent. Polyrhythmic...Danny Carey would approve.
Any time somebody says "He makes it look so easy" or "He's not even trying" That is when you know you really are good.
If you want to see an amazing drumming video, you absolutely need to watch Chad Smith (from Red Hot Chili Peppers) invent a drum track for a 30 Seconds to Mars song on the Drumeo channel. He listens to a drum-less track and just comes up with it on the fly. To add context, Drumeo does this with a lot of drummers and the drummers ALWAYS listen to the song (without the drum track included) through once or twice, take notes on song structure, where the think the verse, bridge, pre-chorus, chorus, etc are within the song. Then they have a first attempt at adding their own drums into the song, take some more notes, practice a little bit, and then throw down their "final take". Remember, these are all very good drummers, who have played in famous bands or for world-class talent and are experts in their field. Chad listens to the song (without the drum track) for all of 15 seconds and jumps into it. The rest...you will have to watch to find out ;)
I agree and Thomas Lang is another prime example. Yes, Seberiano has obviously worked extremely hard to be able to play like that, tricks and all but as good as he is, I find his playing to be very repetitive and robotic. I'm moved by drummers who have "Feel and groove" and I'm not getting that with him.
Girl you haven't seen anything until you watch him cover Blinding Lights - The Weekend and the video he made when trying to learn the drum solo from Mario Duplantier. Just seeing the techniques he uses during that one blew my brain to pieces! Welcome to the rabbit hole!
I think you should do two reactions of his every day haha. Please and thank you😊
As a member of the Tool Army, I’m obligated to recommend his drum cover of The Pot.
