In the year of the tiger, I won't weep and moan Got no time for cooling heels, I've got to roam In the year of the tiger, I'm gonna roll these bones Gonna leave behind the heartache that I’ve known The only love I've known has slipped away The only love I’ve known has gone away In the year of the tiger, I’m gonna stake my claim Run a thousand miles beyond this house of pain In the year of the tiger, I got my kin to save And I'll be damned to see them suffer one more day On a cold, cruel July We didn't know just when the pale horse would arrive But love alone keeps us alive When we fear we can't go on at all In the year of the tiger, I heard a nightmare scream Cut above the din of every future dream In the year of the tiger, well, you'd best believe I am haunted by the visions that I've seen On a cold, cruel July We didn't know just when the pale horse would arrive But love alone keeps us alive When we fear we can't go on at all Can’t go on at all In the year of the tiger, into an ocean grave Threw his ashes to the wind then walked away In the year of the tiger, I got no time to waste A resolution to keep fighting and remain On a cold, cruel July We didn't know just when the pale horse would arrive But love alone keeps us alive When we fear we can't go on at all Can’t go on at all In the year of the tiger In the year of the tiger In the year of the tiger In the year of the tiger
I'm not going to lie, I was hoping for something more Mayfield Four-ish from this album. I love Myles and I will suport everything he release, but I had so much hope from his solo record. It makes me wonder how was going to sound the album he have tossed away, the one he started in 2009.
Blind Faith, Ghost of Shangri La, Turning Stones, Mother, Songbird, One Fine Day have one thing in common: they ALL could be from the Mayfield Four era.
Burkie I was thinking more of Physical Graffitti era Zep mixed with Grace from Jeff Buckley and some George Harrison thrown in...but now that you mention it, I can hear Chris Cornell too...good call!
yeah, he is truly a talented dude and I can hear a whole range of different vibes / influences. I never really embraced the use of a cappo in my own music, something I might have to revisit. But after your comment I'm off to listen to some Jeff Buckley.. Cheers..
Jack Tyler is right, AB will be hitting studio/writing sessions in January 2019. I hope that all the way up from The Last hero, Myles' Solo Record, Tremontis upcoming record and the 2019 AB record will finally push them up to headline huge festivals.. they so deserve it
Year of the tiger 1974? is this song tells us about myles' biological (Richard Bass) death? On that year, Myles was around 4 years old. From wikipedia, I knew that Richard Bass died when Myles was 4 years old. Am I right? It's just my own asumption.
I don’t care what anyone says ... Myles Kennedy is the best singer in all of rock music today. Fight me if you disagree.
Daniel Convers you are soooooo right!!
He is the greatest of all time in my books.
God damn right
Since Chris Cornell's passing I agree.

myles kennedy is the king of all rock!!!
This would sound great too with an acoustic guitar and mandolin combo.
DGWpg Absolutely. It already has that "Battle of Evermore" vibe to begin with.
the best vocalist
Absoute perfection
Fucking great stuff.
Who remembers myles kennedy on the movie ROCKSTAR with mark whalberg?
LONZO BALL he was in the movie?? I never noticed
He was on the last part of the movie. RUclips it
jocelyn Martel He's the dude that comes up on stage with Mark Whalberg to sing, he's wearing a big wig but looks just like him (obviously XD)
Sérgio Miguel Reis the guy that replaced him at the end!! Sick yeah il youtube it!
make more like this please
In the year of the tiger, I won't weep and moan
Got no time for cooling heels, I've got to roam
In the year of the tiger, I'm gonna roll these bones
Gonna leave behind the heartache that I’ve known
The only love I've known has slipped away
The only love I’ve known has gone away
In the year of the tiger, I’m gonna stake my claim
Run a thousand miles beyond this house of pain
In the year of the tiger, I got my kin to save
And I'll be damned to see them suffer one more day
On a cold, cruel July
We didn't know just when the pale horse would arrive
But love alone keeps us alive
When we fear we can't go on at all
In the year of the tiger, I heard a nightmare scream
Cut above the din of every future dream
In the year of the tiger, well, you'd best believe
I am haunted by the visions that I've seen
On a cold, cruel July
We didn't know just when the pale horse would arrive
But love alone keeps us alive
When we fear we can't go on at all
Can’t go on at all
In the year of the tiger, into an ocean grave
Threw his ashes to the wind then walked away
In the year of the tiger, I got no time to waste
A resolution to keep fighting and remain
On a cold, cruel July
We didn't know just when the pale horse would arrive
But love alone keeps us alive
When we fear we can't go on at all
Can’t go on at all
In the year of the tiger
In the year of the tiger
In the year of the tiger
In the year of the tiger
🥀 Entrañable 🥀
Love it
FIIIIIIIIRST!!!!!!! Also great performance.
I think Myles should have done the entire solo album like this... way better than the final electric versions
Boy I waited for that major chord...
I'm not going to lie, I was hoping for something more Mayfield Four-ish from this album. I love Myles and I will suport everything he release, but I had so much hope from his solo record. It makes me wonder how was going to sound the album he have tossed away, the one he started in 2009.
roneit I think there are 3 bonus tracks from the original 2009 listing
Blind Faith, Ghost of Shangri La, Turning Stones, Mother, Songbird, One Fine Day have one thing in common: they ALL could be from the Mayfield Four era.
So sorry but... I'm not really getting your point :-)
Pale horse..could it reference the apocalypse , and Corona virus?

I wonder what Corey Taylor's unsolicited opinion is on this.
Detective Lynch Excuse me sir, But are you trying to say no one cares? Lol
Love this song. Getting both a zeppelin and Chris Cornell Vibe? Making me love it, but missing both of those.
Burkie I was thinking more of Physical Graffitti era Zep mixed with Grace from Jeff Buckley and some George Harrison thrown in...but now that you mention it, I can hear Chris Cornell too...good call!

Damn.
albums out
Alguien más vino después de ver el directo de Jordi y Roma??
I want a new alter bridge album! Did they break up the band??
No, they are just doing solo stuff in between AB albums.
Next alter bridge album will be out next year. They take 3 years between albums. Tremonti has already confirmed
Jack Tyler tremonto 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Jack Tyler is right, AB will be hitting studio/writing sessions in January 2019.
I hope that all the way up from The Last hero, Myles' Solo Record, Tremontis upcoming record and the 2019 AB record will finally push them up to headline huge festivals.. they so deserve it
No performance is perfect without Myles messing up some lyrics :) (other than that is was flawless ofc)
Wassup Tim!
For a second I thought it was Steven Tyler on the thumbnail.
虎年,小伙子,阔以啊!
thought it was steven tyler in the tumbnail...

He messed up on the lyrics..but ya know hes only human.
I agree, great voice...didn't like the song...missing a hook
Is this his only damn song? We get it and it's not very good
No, not his only song (who has one song?!), and if you think it's "not very good", then you have seriously bad taste.
@@Elawar he 's written dozens, full of poetry, and wisdom..
I know you are aware.. people , look closely at myles' songs. So much wisdom, pain and even joy..
