I've realized that I've had one foot out the door in the studio lately, the search has made me rush work and leave as soon as I could, which means that I'm creating a very uncreative work environment. I don't think it's a healthy mindspace to entertain, so I've now decided to change my ways and give my studio some attention. Change it up before spring opening and make it a nice place to be, like I used to. I hope you enjoy a little thrifting, work and life stuff. Thank you for watching 🌞

My week had an unexpected turn too, my rabbit became ill but she is now recovered. These times happen in life but it must feel a little like you are letting people down when your week isn’t as you expected - especially from the perspective of a tired mind at the end of the week. One of the things that I love about your videos is that they are a regular rhythm of life. Your vlog is one of the few I watch ALL the way through. I am not a fashion nut, though I like watching your take on fashion. I can no longer do DIYs as I’m pushing 70, but love watching you DIY. I live in the oilfields of Texas so gardening is mostly a waste of time, but watch you garden. I love thrifting, but at my age I do my best not to go there as we are purging and downsizing. I love watching you thrift. The only variable that ties this together is you. I’m sure most of your faithful viewers are here for you. Even your scattered vlogs are delightful.

Evening Elise, As i sit here, drinking my cup of coffee i felt a tear of relief. You explained about having one foot out of the door. I bought a space/house nearly two years ago. There has been many problems and just yesterday after having the decorators finish a beautiful job, the builder replacing a door had ripped off the new wood work, and peeled off some paint. I have been in tears and feeling the love go completely. I have to thank you for explaining how you feel, and putting something into words that i am totally feeling with my space. Today i will clean, keep both feet inside and get creative in my space.

Hi Elise! Love the dress over slacks, but without the tie or belt. I’d either arm the dress with a long Roaring 20s flapper style necklace or better yet leave it unadorned altogether. The earrings plus one ring would be sufficient. Try that and let me know what you think. Love your hair color! Mine was like that in my 20s. So much fun!

Helpful hint... Tape your injured toe to the one next to it for a few days. When my son broke his toe, that's what the doctors did. They said there isn't much they can do with broken (or sprained toes.) Just make sure you use medical tape.

Sweety, you appear to have what we call "the winter ho hums". Don't worry, Spring is just around the corner. I'm from a state that only sees about 140 days of sun a year and the winters are long, gray and cold. I think your skylight will be just the medicine you need..and of course your gardens. Hang in there.
Do you take sunshine vitamins? Lack of sunshine is dangerous for me. I have two sun lamps and moved to Florida USA. It’s known as the sunshine state.
@@barbaraspector6689 I do not take vitamins. I stay away from anything commercially made. I live like a flowerchild from the 70's would. I garden and can outdoors. I also sew everything on the porch spring, summer, and fall. Winters are "frigid" meaning below zero for months. I have sled dogs that need to run everyday, so I dress for it. Cold but beautiful. Spent time in winterhaven but the hurricanes were terrifying. Thanks for the reply. Have a great day.

I really liked this video and just following along with you and your work. If you are stressed or tired it doesn’t always come across on the video (I didn’t guess until you said so) but we all have ups and downs and interruptions that stop our flow. That is life.
Please feel like you have a bunch of friends here who support you and just like checking in on your work and home.
On a more personal note, I am in my 50’s and a fair skinned brunette and I’ve always had a lot of wavy to curly hair that can get a bit crazy. I like my long hair but it’s so unruly I put it up in a bun or clip 90% of the time. You look so lovely with your romantic long hair, it inspires me to wear my hair down more. I get some gray in places and I dye it. I’m not ready to go gray yet, and your inspiration is helping me make the most of my wild dark locks while I can. I also recently acquired my grandma’s home movies, and seeing me as a happy little girl with all that thick dark hair really connected the way I want to style it now. So thank you for being one of my inspirations of beautiful feminine romantic hair!

I'm going to order the new blue beret. I just love it! Possibly the white hat as well. I have a large head and I'm not sure about your sizing compared to the US sizing. I will figure itout. P.S. Recycling in Denmark is very efficient and nice. If I recall correctly, you have three categories for bottles to be recycled, each having a different price, something like A, B, C and then 5, 10, or 15 Danish crowns respectively corresponding to each pant. I did a lot of recycling while I was a student there. Both with my bottles and with the cardboard and plastic in general. Unfortunately, I and one of my former flatmates who was from the Netherlands found out the fact that, at least locally where we did the recycling next to our flat, the recycled material would eventually end up in the common dump and not where they were supposed to. In general, I think this is not the case in DK. Nice recycling receipt (my record was several crowns I think, as we recycled stuff with my former flatmates who were also international students). Needless to say Netto was my most favourite shop (also for their Apple credit gift cards and for their nice logo). Sometimes I miss some Danish products... Oh well, sorry if this sounds off-topic and for ramblin' on too much. All the best!
