    Really lovely garden, I could be out there all day with the bees! There’s nothing like this in Arizona, we’re hoping to move to Iowa late this year and I’m excited to pick out my first hydrangea with my mom ❤️

    Everytime I watch your channel I am inspired by your garden and creativity. I also love how you both are so excited to share your garden by doing a narrative of each plant! This helps because sometimes it is difficult to know what you have planted unless you are right there.

    Love your videos! For your front porch, I wonder if you’ve thought about doing a creative houseplant, planter. Deep outdoor shade might be the perfect amount of sun for most house plants, plus the added bonus of less leaf shedding than outdoor annuals for a porch.

      We’ve tossed around lots of ideas. It’s such a tough spot that we may actually go with a faux plant.

    Looks great guys! How cool that Gardener’s Supply did a photo shoot. 😀 I’m surprised the calibrachoa that are in their nursery pots get enough sun on the covered patio.

    My sister & I loved seeing your gorgeous garden at the Open Days tour on Saturday. The next day I went out plant shopping & bought an Emily Bronte rose and a Ruby Slippers Oakleaf Hydrangea! (I had wanted a Pink Gatsby like yours but got the smaller Ruby Slippers by mistake. 🙄) Thanks for opening your beautiful garden for all to see!

    Just had to stop the video to say - I didn’t think anything could top your hydrangea hedge in my mind, but I think that Gatsby Pink just did! Wowza! It’s so gorgeous! I planted two of them this year so I probably just have oak leaf on the brain but still …wowza. Now back to the tour …

    I feel your pain on the front porch plants. Mine has scorching heat (100+) on one side and complete shade on the other. I do have grow lights one the one side but I don't think it's helping. It's killing me!

    For your shady entry way you could do what Laura did from Garden Answer. She put in faux topiaries. They looked real! I did the same and must admit it looks much better than I thought it would!

    do you use 1/4 inch drip hose around your trees and an schrubs or drip emitters. Also how long and often do you irrigation

      It depends on the plant. It's hard to say how often because every garden is different!

    I have a rise up lilac Days rose in a pot for one year now and it grew fast! And became very tall and leggy. About 6 feet, So much that i had to put it in the ground yesterday.

      I believe it. When I prune it I am taking it all the way back to the metal orb.

      We usually wait till it starts to look a little rough. It takes almost exactly 6 weeks to reflash so you can time it to when you want to see bloom again.
