Really lovely garden, I could be out there all day with the bees! There’s nothing like this in Arizona, we’re hoping to move to Iowa late this year and I’m excited to pick out my first hydrangea with my mom ❤️
O-M-WOW...THIS is becoming my favorite gardening channel. You two are awesome. This video alone has opened my eyes to quite a few options I had not thought about before. Your gardens are so amazing and beautiful 😍 🤩 ❤
Everytime I watch your channel I am inspired by your garden and creativity. I also love how you both are so excited to share your garden by doing a narrative of each plant! This helps because sometimes it is difficult to know what you have planted unless you are right there. Bless you both for bringing such joy into our lives...
Love your videos! For your front porch, I wonder if you’ve thought about doing a creative houseplant, planter. Deep outdoor shade might be the perfect amount of sun for most house plants, plus the added bonus of less leaf shedding than outdoor annuals for a porch.
I love watching Eric and Christopher do the tag team action; it is fun to watch and hey, the gardens are not half bad either 😉. The gardens are gorgeous.
Looks great guys! How cool that Gardener’s Supply did a photo shoot. 😀 I’m surprised the calibrachoa that are in their nursery pots get enough sun on the covered patio.
My sister & I loved seeing your gorgeous garden at the Open Days tour on Saturday. The next day I went out plant shopping & bought an Emily Bronte rose and a Ruby Slippers Oakleaf Hydrangea! (I had wanted a Pink Gatsby like yours but got the smaller Ruby Slippers by mistake. 🙄) Thanks for opening your beautiful garden for all to see!
Lovely and a huge congratulations on the photo shoot, we can all see why you were chosen for sure! 👏👏 On a side note, Eric, what is your favourite gin? 🍸🇨🇦☺️
Congrats on your collab with Gardeners Supply! Fantastic tour. I appreciate the close ups and names on the screen. Vanilla Strawberry hydrangeas and Invincibelle Sublime are no longer available?
Just had to stop the video to say - I didn’t think anything could top your hydrangea hedge in my mind, but I think that Gatsby Pink just did! Wowza! It’s so gorgeous! I planted two of them this year so I probably just have oak leaf on the brain but still …wowza. Now back to the tour …
Congrats on your photo shoot for Gardeners Supply-can’t wait to see them in future catalogues! Thanks guys for this detailed tour -with names of things I admired on your tour, but whose names I didn’t recall or get a chance to inquire about (adding some to my phone list!☺️). Looking forward to Part 2!
I mean just.. wow.. you guys! The layering, the textures, the color combos. The oakleaf hydrangea on the side (sigh) ...everything... all just stunning! 💚 🦋🤗
Good morning Eric and Christopher🌞very happy for you that your will be feature in Gardeners Supply magazine, you deserve it! All the hard work that you continuously do to create your amazingly beautiful haven. Have a wonderful rest of the week😃
I feel your pain on the front porch plants. Mine has scorching heat (100+) on one side and complete shade on the other. I do have grow lights one the one side but I don't think it's helping. It's killing me!
For your shady entry way you could do what Laura did from Garden Answer. She put in faux topiaries. They looked real! I did the same and must admit it looks much better than I thought it would!
Absolutely love your hydrangeas, beautiful. I am working on a hydrangea garden in my backyard with 14 pine trees that line the sides in VA zone 8A. Wish me luck 🍀
Good morning from Niagara Falls, Ont. I finally found someone who is close to me and same garden zone(s) mid summer last year. Watching your garden evolve with trials and tribulations has truly inspired and encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone. Love your positive attitudes and quirks. Thank you. Will you be attending the Buffalo Garden Walk this year?
Your garden looks amazing! I love the thoughtful combinations of colors and textures! 💚💐 Random question- what kind of foot rests do you have here on your patio at 49:26 ? Are they weatherproof? I need some outdoor foot rests, and these are so cute!
In-person and now virtual garden tour. I need the names of some other plants; I didn't get to ask. I can't get over how tall your lemony Lacy gets. Best day of the year. Breakfast at Halfmoon dinner, Garden tour, then Plant shopping.
Stunning! Why don’t you move up the deep shade planters at your front door up a few feet so they get some sun? Love your gardens! I’m in zone 5b in Hamilton ON 🇨🇦
I have a rise up lilac Days rose in a pot for one year now and it grew fast! And became very tall and leggy. About 6 feet, So much that i had to put it in the ground yesterday.
We usually wait till it starts to look a little rough. It takes almost exactly 6 weeks to reflash so you can time it to when you want to see bloom again.
@@growformegardening Ok Thank you very much,I haven't had time to do it,so I'll have to wait till next year I guess, but then again I guess I could still try
Looking good.
Thanks!

That would be amazing
Love how you guys put the names of the plants on the screen.
It takes me a lonnnnng time but it's worth it!
And the close ups! Thanks

Your garden is beautiful! I gotta get a Kintzley's Ghost. Now that I've seen it nothing else will do!
It is the coolest
Totally beautiful‼️.
Thank you! 😊
Absolutely gorgeous!
You guys put so much work into it, and it shows. ❤ so much to feel proud of your accomplishments. 😍
Thank you so much!!
Love your videos! For your front porch, I wonder if you’ve thought about doing a creative houseplant, planter. Deep outdoor shade might be the perfect amount of sun for most house plants, plus the added bonus of less leaf shedding than outdoor annuals for a porch.
We’ve tossed around lots of ideas. It’s such a tough spot that we may actually go with a faux plant.
Thank you for putting the names of the plants! It really helps.
You got it!
Words can’t express how beautiful your garden is ,,from thd design ,to the placement of trees ,shrubs ,perennials etc it’s absolutely perfection!!❤
That is so encouraging to hear
Great video! Have you guys ever tried creating a lavender hedge? I hear it’s all about the soil prep.
We do have a small lavender hedge
I love watching Eric and Christopher do the tag team action; it is fun to watch and hey, the gardens are not half bad either 😉. The gardens are gorgeous.
Glad you enjoyed it

Loved this tour! I learn so much from your videos. AND.. thank you for naming each plant! You guys are AWESOME!

Fantastic garden certainly one of the best designs I’ve seen! Love that you guys explain each plant😎❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thanks so much!

They aren’t the happiest currently, it was a last minute addition before the tour. Haha

I really love it
Lovely and a huge congratulations on the photo shoot, we can all see why you were chosen for sure! 👏👏 On a side note, Eric, what is your favourite gin? 🍸🇨🇦☺️
He goes through phases on brand, but tends to stick with the London Dry Gins
Congrats on your collab with Gardeners Supply! Fantastic tour. I appreciate the close ups and names on the screen. Vanilla Strawberry hydrangeas and Invincibelle Sublime are no longer available?
Those are both definitely still available! Lime Rickey is the one that isn't
You have definitely mastered the art of layering! ❤️
Oh thank you!

Beautiful garden, you guys work hard on your garden but when you love what you do it’s not work👍🏽🌺🌸🌻
So true!
I just bought Campfire Marshmallow this year too. What an outstanding plant!! I only bought one and it's huge. Love your garden 🌼🌼🌼

I think it may need to happen

New follower here! I love your garden. You two inspire me :)
Welcome aboard! Thank you!
Obsessed with your tours and now a part 2!! You guys spoil us ❤
haha thanks
Thank you for sharing. I hope you can help me, tell me which hydrangeas can sustain full sun?
We just posted a hydrangea guide video! We talk all about that
Your garden looks amazing! I love the thoughtful combinations of colors and textures! 💚💐 Random question- what kind of foot rests do you have here on your patio at 49:26 ? Are they weatherproof? I need some outdoor foot rests, and these are so cute!
They are from Jaipur…not weatherproof unfortunately. We pull them under the covered area
Absolutely stunning.

It was so great to meet you! Thank you for coming and for the support!!
So beautiful & inspiring ! ❤
So glad!
In the front of your house tour, there was a skipped spirea I believe. What was it? Is it blue kazoo?
Oh yes, we always mention it down by the electrical box and forget to repeat it in the foundation area. Double Play Blue Kazoo Spirea
Everything is looking so verdant and lush! Looking forward to part 2 😊
I love the word verdant. Thanks!
So stunning!! Can you please tell me how many plants on Gatsby pink hydrangea?
That is just one!!
Lovely, can't wait to see part 2!
Coming soon!
Beautiful ❤❤❤
Thank you! 😊
Lovely as always guys!❤️🌺🪴
Thank you 🤗
Your hydrangeas are beautiful, I’m going to add more. Can I ask where you got the hooks over the fence to hold the trellis?
They are from Amazon. There is a link to our storefront in the description! Look under "general garden tools"
Stunning! Why don’t you move up the deep shade planters at your front door up a few feet so they get some sun? Love your gardens! I’m in zone 5b in Hamilton ON 🇨🇦
We've tried that and they look silly
do you use 1/4 inch drip hose around your trees and an schrubs or drip emitters. Also how long and often do you irrigation
It depends on the plant. It's hard to say how often because every garden is different!
I enjoyed your tutorial
Glad it was helpful!
I have a rise up lilac Days rose in a pot for one year now and it grew fast! And became very tall and leggy. About 6 feet, So much that i had to put it in the ground yesterday.
I believe it. When I prune it I am taking it all the way back to the metal orb.
Question, when do You cut Your catmint back ? Thank You

YAY!!!!!
🌸
Zone 5b Nebraska here. Any suggestions for a hydrangea for almost total shade? Thanks
ooh that's tough. They do need a little something. Check out seratta type hydrangeas and also oakleaf
Your garden looks amazing! Just a note for you, Jekyll is pronounced like the book Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.
It sure is...Jee-kyll. Not Jeh-kyll.
Question regarding clematis. I bought an obelisk and a new clematis. Do I plant the clematis in the center of the structure or in front of it?
I generally plant in the center.
In a past video you mentioned the vego hose reel. Did you get the high flow version or regular version? We are thinking of getting one.
We have the high flow 100 foot version. There is a link in the description!
