  • Thanks for growing with us!
Welcome to part two of the full July garden tour! We have had a very busy week preparing for both a photoshoot and an in person garden tour so the garden is looking wonderful. In this tour we are taking the time focus on the importance of evergreen interest in the summer garden. We also discuss the design elements of layering textures, colors, form, and blooms that we have used to create our contemporary cottage style.
Since we are taking our time with this tour we decided to split it up in to two separate videos.

    Beautiful as always ❤
If I could make one request, it would be to have you guys insert close ups of the plants as you wander, like you did with the Vanderwolf pine. So much of the time, we just see one of you pointing to a mass of plants saying the names, but we don't see the individual plants you're talking about. I am always saying to myself, "I wish I could see what that looks like," lol . Just a suggestion 🤷‍♀️🥰♥️

I have the same issue with rabbits eating the bottom branches of my Aronia (I have the Black Autumn Magic variety). I have chicken wire around mine as well and have since planted some lavender seedlings in front to see if that would help deter them. I already have lavender behind them so I’m trying to somewhat surround them. Those rabbits are so pesky!
