Try drinking a bottle of soda left in your car for a few hours in the summer heat.. now imagine what that heat does to your fragrance. It'll go sour. Or smell stale

Fragrance's are really delicate and even if it's not an expensive bottle exposing them to extreme heat or light damages the fragrance for many reasons, but the result is the fragrance going sour, evaporating and hurting the scent profile/longevity. Optimal fragrance care is stored around 70°F and out of direct contact with sunlight. If you don't care then that's on you and do with your money what you will

After watching this, I found out that I ruined my Versace cologne. I’ve been leaving my cologne in the car during 90+ degree days. Thanks to the people in the comments that made me aware of this.

Don’t forget to leave a fragrance in the bathroom so you can apply it on wet skin right after a shower! Also make sure you rub your wrists together to create friction. The heat really gets the frags to project. Did I mention to spray your eye balls? This trick is great because you can see how long the fragrance will last on you. Literally. I won’t tear you down, but I will correct you, instead of a cologne in the car, there are small sample bottles you can buy to take cologne out of the main bottle. You can keep that in your pocket or suit jacket daily and your main bottle can stay safely at home. I get my mini bottles from fragrance net. Also the lotion mixed with cologne, I can’t knock that till I try it but I would recommend trying it with a fragrance free lotion. Bevel is a lighter scent but it’s not fragrance free. (One of my favorites)
The #1 is Be CLEAN!!! Be Showered!! The fragrance will last longer. It’s quite obvious I know!! But a lot of men dont know that or simply don’t care🤷♂️

The best thing you could do is spray the fragrance on your hand and see how long it lasts as all human skin reaction is not the same . In my experience sometimes EDT lasts longer than EDP so our skins react differently. I have saved lots of money don’t just follow the reviewers it’s their experience have your own experience and pick the best fragrance for you. 🎉
I have back up fragrance in my car, properly wrapped for temp control cos I'm in Texas. In colder regions, not a bad idea. Not my most pricey ones, just back up to refresh me and the car's ambience when needed.
Honestly, if you a fairly cheap fragrance, it isn't terrible to have it in your car. Its only a concern during the summer, but also if its a very expensive fragrance.

I get the cologne n lotion mix, but some fragrances are not meant to be rubbed in. Some fragrances have different layers, rubbing it disrupts the experience (initial, mid, dry down)
