I’m on Artie’s side on this, Howard was not helping. He did it for ratings only Friend of mine pulled something similar back in college. I hadn’t had the best luck with women, and he had one of his drunk female friends hit on me (he was known for pranks and making a show of things). As she and I talked I could see him laughing and whispering to others in the background so I knew it was all bs. I politely kept the conversation short and went to a different part of the party afterward. He acted puzzled but I knew what he was doing, I don’t regret my response to this day.
